side useless info : I was in the middle of writing this when the Summerclan Deputy Tryouts ended

CATS NAME AND BIO : (she is not on the page and is a new characters to apologizes her bio is kind of word vomit at the moment)
DUSKVEIL
She is the vibrate color of the dusk. When the sun begins to dip below the horizon giving away to the dark night sky. The color of the moon painted on her limbs, chest, muzzle and stomach. Soft darker spots dapple her ginger fur. She is a rather lanky cat and has a slender built. Her eyes are dark amber the color of the sun. She feels like her fur is a curse for being a vibrate ginger. She has always tried hard to prove to her fellow clan mates that she belongs within Nightclan. Jumping through hoops to prove her pure blood statues regardless of her appearance which looks like she would belong in Sunclan or Dayclan. She is close-nit with her brother Dawnfog . She's been close with him since they were kittens in the nursery. She has fond memories of her childhood. Being told stories about the cosmos and the moon that lit up the night sky for Nightclan. The cosmos have always fascinated her whole life. It was only natural that her father named her and her brother after the night sky. She heard tales from her father about the stars in the sky. Stories that connected to the strange patterns in the night sky. The tales always fascinated her more than they did her brother Dawnfog. Her brother found them to be boring but listened to them anyway. She had a close relationship with her brother growing up. They were each other's rock when their mother died. She also developed a friendship with another kitten named Darkkit. She became the shoulder that Darkkit could lean on after she lost her sister. Duskveil had a average apprenticeship. She struggled on learning a few tasks because of her bright pelt, but worked hard with extra lessons with Darkpaw who later became Darkmeadow and her mate. As a young warrior Duskveil narrowly died when on a hunting trip when a venomous snake almost bit her. Her father pushed her out of the way and ended up sacrificing himself. Duskveil has lived with the guilt ever since. Leading to her being more protective of her clanmates, her brother Dawkfog and her mate Darkmeadow. She is very traditional and holds her fellow clanmates to higher standards. Casts a judgmental eye to those that go against Nightclan. She would meet death head first if it meant her sacrifice was benefiting Nightclan.

ACTIVITY IN NIGHTCLAN :
I believe honesty is the best policy. My activity in Nightclan is nonexistent it has been very on and off the last several years, because I just didn't find a spark in Nightclan that kept me interested in this clan. I always felt the clan was some sort of degree inactive. My goal last fall was to become more active in Nightclan. I actually rallied some other members together to help create a Nightclan family that had been apart of Nightclan for several generations. I did this partly because I wanted to give Nightclan a chance and also had the full intention of wanting to help boost Nightclan's activity, but last semester ended up being a huge mess and I became inactive because I took too many 4000 level art classes at once so I never was able to add my characters from this family and get it off the ground.

ACTIVTY ON THE SITE :
My activity had been consistent up until about mid October. That's when the art projects started pilling up. I was forced to become inactive because of that reason, but I've been focusing on trying to build my activity up since last semester ended. I do have a pretty open schedule this semester. I am only taking freshman level classes this semester as electives. I graduate in May so after that my time will be even more open because my industry isn't really hiring at the moment.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE DEPUTY :
Like I stated above I believe honesty is the best policy. I've never been consistently active in Nightclan. This is due to not feeling the spark that I once did with Nightclan when I first joined. Over the last 3 years my activity with Nightclan hasn't been great I've popped in and out of the clan. I never really gave the clan a chance, but want to change that last year when I rallied several members to make a pure blood Nightclan Family, because I wanted to be apart of this clan and help it succeed. I still personally would love to see it succeed. I would love to be apart of the team that helps breath some life back into it. I do recognize that this clan probably needs some TLC and I am no stranger to helping boost clan activity. I would really love to see Nightclan be a close-nit unit. I love the idea that Nightclan would become 'darker' and a force to be reckoned with. The whole pure blood factor of Nightclan just gives me Slytherin vibes which I really connect to since I am one.

WHY WOULD ASPEN PICK YOUR CHARACTER :
Duskveil is still young, she is not fresh out of the apprentice den, but has been a warrior for a couple of seasons. She also hasn't quite hit mid age yet so I'm going to assume maybe similar age to Aspenstar? She is pure Nightclan blood and actually stems from a Nightclan character that I had back in 2015. Don't know if this is relevant but Duskveil dislikes the other Forest Clans. She would be willing to work with them as allies if it meant they were benefiting Nightclan in someway, but she views them as chaotic. While she isn't a chaotic individual that would scream war, she also isn't a passive character either. She would only wish to have Nightclan go into war strategically. To teach the other clans that Nightclan isn't a force to be reckoned with. She would support Aspenstar's views on pure blooded Nightclan cats. She is basically a Slytherin/Ravenclaw hybrids.
