Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Foxstar trekked the territory without a second thought, heading today for the Waterlogged Ruins. She usually didn't need to come this way, but with three clans, and more, essentially crammed together, sickness was bound to run rampant this time of year, and as such, they'd need all the catmint they could get. Sure, chickweed grew at the Burial Grounds, thanks to the Janus cultivating it, but she figured that would end up used on the prisoners. What she was looking for today, would be reserved entirely for SunClan cats. After all, she was far more concerned with their welfare than that of the prisoners, though them getting sick wouldn't be the least bit ideal.
The clumsy sound of an intruder could be heard, probably taking advantage of the fact that SunClan warriors were spread thin with the extra duties of guarding and needing to concentrate on hunting rather than their usual frequent border patrols. The cat had no scent, it wasn't too unusual during leafbare though, a time when the snow cleared away most scent trails, but this cat looked built for the snow from her long fur and capability of walking softly on the tops of snow as delicate as a cat walking on a weakened branch. The only true clumsy sound coming from her was her tail beating against the branches and twigs behind her every step.
Mistyveil was like two possessed beings, her fur and eyes vertically cut in half. Hot rosy peach fur radiated like light shining through pink clouds on her left half. Icy shimmery Russian blue blurred on the other half like light shining through fog. Her right eye was a rare turquoise shade while her left was haint blue with glittery gold specks. But in her jaws was catmint, as if right on cue. As if delivered by the Sun God himself she had exactly what was needed and was walking right over to Foxstar without truly any fear in her eyes. It wasn't just some catmint, it was a lot. An amount that truly no clan seemed capable of having, but in a place like WinterClan they had the most precious sought after herb and none of the basic necessities.
Foxstar's eyes narrowed instantly and her claws extended as she changed her path to stalk towards Mistyveil, no sense of hesitation despite the herbs in her maw. After all, for all she knew, the she-cat had stolen the herb. If she had, then their stores would be destroyed, unless there were other clans' stored included in it. The only thing that did give her pause was recognizing the she-cat as a medicine cat. She wasn't actually sure of which clan Mistyveil came from offhand, but she was certain that the she-cat was a healer. "You're trespassing." Though it stated the obvious, it was the only words she spared for the other feline, not appearing as if she intended to really hear her out, at least not while she was on the territory.
"meh nymm mhymlll, ah mmmmm mmbbs," Mistyveil said, with the herbs in her mouth nodding off in the direction of another border as if she suddenly just cleared everything up.
She placed the herbs down and nosed them towards Foxstar, "Here you go, I'd like all the poppy seeds you can spare and um, how about some cobwebs, yarrow, no alder tree bark, do you have that? If you do I'd love some of them and oh! How about comfrey? But mainly just the poppyseeds and cobwebs."
