Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
He had spent some time alone after the Fire Nation's siege on their camp. Abandoned his mate and family entirely, spent some time alone and with his father, and by the time he returned their clan was headed back to the old camp. It wasn't a very impressive camp now, but at least they were home.
Festeringfruit skulked back into camp at dusk, having been absent for most of the day. He had been doing that a lot recently. As if his clan couldn't still see the truth in the darkness. His beautiful curly fur had been ripped away from his flesh, stolen by his most horrid apprentice yet, and his soft pink skin was exposed to the world. It was rough and spotted and broken by bumps now, unprotected from the elements, and he hated how ugly it made him look. His handsome appearance was ruined.
As he turned the tight corner into the den, he tripped over his mate's paws. Immediately Festeringfruit let out a string of quiet curses. "Won't you stay out of my way for even a few minutes?" he hissed at Goldengrace. Why did they have to push their nests together, anyway? Being so close to another cat at night was the worst part of having a mate to deal with.
