Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The auburn tom lay in the shade of the medicine cat's den, every muscle stiff as his alert gaze swept the clearing. Exhaustion lines every feature of his face, his head drooped and swayed, but he refused to give in: it was a new, dangerous clan for him to face, and he couldn't rest until he was sure he was safe. He hadn't given anyone his name yet, but there were a few here who might know his face, and that made him wary. Would they sell him out to his old clan?
He wasn't in any position to defend himself. Timesquandor had fallen unconscious when his mother rescued his body and brought it to SpringClan. Someone had patched him up before he woke again. There were still bindings around his throat and cobwebs masked half his face. He hadn't seen the extent of his injuries but feeling their agony and how closely attended he had been, Time could only guess it was luck that he didn't die that night as well.
His eyelids started to droop again, but this time when he forced them open he saw someone he recognized. But wasn't she dead?

Jetstar had been sitting and waiting to see if Timesquandor would wake.
It had been a surprise when the tom had appeared on her 'doorstep' as it were. She'd immediately had Fawnheart patch him up and get him settled and kept him sequestered to the Medicine Cat Den.
There were murmurings of course about the surprise former SunClan cat who had ended up in SpringClan. But Jetstar had done her best to keep them quiet.
AT least until she got the story out of him.
"Jetstar now," Jetstar said. "I was informed that you had appeared on SpringClan's land. They tell me you'll probably live, are you well enough to speak?" She asked, considering the wrappings around his throat with narrowed eyes.
"Well enough," he rasped, his voice sounding nearly as ragged as it felt. "Jetstar, we thought you," he stopped to take a breath, finding he couldn't speak and breathe easily at the same time, "we thought you died. When your brother was taken prisoner. How are you here, a leader?"
He had ... a lot of questions. But it was easiest to focus on figuring out why she was here to buy him time to get his own mind straight. It was coming back to him now, in pieces, each time thinking he knew the whole story before he noticed another gap to fill in.
