Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(This thread immediately takes place after SunClan left in the Tonight We Strike thread )
Marvelstar gasped suddenly, her still form shuddering with her first breath. Though her wound had healed her throat was annoyingly sore. Not enough to be concerned but just enough to be uncomfortable. Opening her eyes, she glanced around at the forlorn looks of her clan-mates as most of them had gathered around her now. She wasted no time rising, albeit somewhat shakily to her paws. As it turned out, waking up from death was much more disorienting than waking up from a nap.
The memory of her lives ceremony was still fresh in her mind, and her eyes shone with hidden knowledge underneath their obvious exhaustion. Her midnight blue gaze immediately fell to her paws, drawn to the now painted on symbol adorned on her right paw. In thick black lines was a symbol of an eye, similar yet different from the one worn by The Soothsayer in SunClan. Clairvoyant sight. The rune’s name came to her clearly, as if she’d always known it, despite never having seen it prior to when Selene herself had marked her with it while she walked in Idris with the goddess.
“I have so much to share with you all..” The she-cat rasped, before making an attempt to clear her aching throat.
Carvedsnow was bent over her father, desperately holding him together as his blood flowed over her paws. The massive SunClan initiate had badly damaged Snowshod and his breath came in short, ragged gasps. Her heart had fallen into the pits of her stomach. Was he going to be okay? She cast a pleading look at their leader's body, wishing it would move, even just twitch a little bit. Anything to show she was alive... but Marvelcanvas had never gotten her nine lives, had she?
She let out a shuddering breath and turned her attention back to the fallen warrior. He needed help, but now she could see the bleeding wasn't so bad. Snowshod would be fine. Her paws felt weak with relief. Then she heard Marvelstar speak, and her head jerked up in awe.

Pearpaw couldn’t believe what he was hearing! Marvelcanvas was alive? How? He needed to see it for himself. Lifting himself from the ground, he immediately felt blood running down one of his hind legs, but the pain was dull enough for him to not seek out immediate medical attention. He felt awkward walking closer to his leader’s side as he wasn’t particularly close to her and was just an apprentice, but his curiosity and awe pushed him forward until he could see the rise and fall of her chest—her blue eyes shining with life. How is this possible? Relief washed over him as he stared at her, smiling from ear to ear as he waited for her to speak again.
Rising to her paws she looked around at her clan-mates, while they all seemed to looked excited and relieved to see her she was visibly worried, looking at the wounded, her news would have to wait. Right now her clan needed a healer and a leader, and lucky for her her time spent as a Janus of SunClan now made her both. She turned to face Pearpaw, the grin on his face giving the newly appointed Consul hope.
"Selene has not abandoned us, she still watches over us and has given me my lives and her blessing to lead her clan back to greatness. I know we're all battered and bleeding, but I gave a life for MoonClan and I will give my other eight to it as well. We may have not won the battle but, tonight we won our place back beside The other Forest Clans. Never again will we be driven from our home again" she declared, as loud as her damaged voice could manage in the moment.
"Now, we need to see about some of these wounds. Give that a good lick" she told Pearpaw, taking in the sight of his bloodied hind leg. I need to check on Snowshod but I'll bring you some cobwebs in a moment." Flurryofstars
The leader quickly made her way over to Carvedsnow and her father, her paws replacing the she-cats on Snowshod's wounds. "Fetch as many cobwebs as you can, we'll need as many as you can find, I'll find herbs to treat everyone as soon as we get the bleeding under control." Cleaver

So she had eight lives now? He supposed that at some point while she was “gone”, the extra lives must have been gifted to her by Selene. That’s so cool! Marvelstar was right too. They had lost the battle, but at least they had their home again. For him, that was enough to be a victory.
His grin faltered as the she-cat walked up to him. He didn’t even think he would notice her in this crowd, but then again, he was practically in the front of it. “Right!” Pearpaw replied, flustered. He’d nearly forgotten about the wound in all the excitement. He gave her a determined nod and then collapsed onto his side so that his tongue could reach his leg. “Thank you, Marvelstar!” He chirped and then went to rapidly licking the blood source.
She had nine lives. That made Marvelstar their true leader after all. A smile tugged at Carvedsnow's tilted lips despite it all.
Then Marvelstar was at her side, and her brief joy disappeared as she returned her attention to her father. "Cobwebs," she echoed, and slowly backed away. It hurt to take her paws away from him, plagued by fear Snowshod would no longer be breathing when she returned, but she had to go. The bishop spun around and raced for the exit, returning soon with a pile of webs wrapped around her paw.

Ryn hadn't wanted to leave her side. At the same time... with their kits, he didn't get such an option, trying to shield them from her death, all the while trying to figure out how to explain that she wouldn't be coming back when Hauntedkit inevitably started questioning it. What he hadn't expected, however, was that Marvelstar would wake, and as soon as the word reached his ears, he gathered their kits, ushering them to follow him to go and see their mother.
He hadn't really expected such a strong reaction to see Marvelstar up on her paws, tears pricking the corners of his eyes as he neared, and he watched as Hauntedkit broke away to throw himself at the MoonClan leader without a second thought.
Boysenberrykit left out a gasping cry as he woke up. His whole body hurt, though his chest sent pain coursing through his body with every breath. “Mommy?” He whimpered, wanting to be comforted by Anemoneshade. The SunClan Queen had fled thinking him dead and wanting to protect her remaining kits. His father probably had no idea that he had been presumed dead in the battle. The last thing he remembered was being thrown aside by one of the SunClan warriors. Now with a bit of double vision he looked around at complete strangers, absolutely terrified.

For as much as Ryn wanted to shield his young eyes, Vantakit kept pushing. He wanted to see, no matter how much it would hurt. It was the kind of thing he shouldn't, but his curiosity kept getting the better of him. But Ryn was pretty good at shielding Vantakit's still baby blue eyes. And for the best, because as they were ushered out, Vantakit felt a wave of relief at seeing his mother alright. He quietly joined Hauntedkit next to her, but one eye kept an eye on Snowshod. @samiam Honeystorm
Abaddon went to work right away. The follower was covered in wounds, but she didn't stop to tend to them. She'd been through worse, the blood barely visible against her black fur. She was cleaning when a quiet voice caught her attention, the cry of the kit. She never considered herself motherly, or have any sort of instinct for it, but she still sought it out. The debris was nothing for the she-cat, and she came across a kit that reeked of Sunclan. "They really left one of their own. Even dogs are better than that." Abby muttered to herself as she shouldered the weight of the debris, shoving it to the side like it was nothing. "Marvelstar. We have an abandoned as well. Doesn't look like they can move." She called, one of her legs visibly shaking from the strain @atomheart
Caught off guard by suddenly be ambushed by her kits she let out a shaky breath, blinking back the tears of relief that clouded her vision. "It's alright my loves, I'm alright. but, some of our clan-mates are not and they need me to help them first" she explained gently. "I need you stay with your father for a little longer. I promise I will come get you when I'm finished" she said ducking down to reassuringly lick each of her kits between the ears, purring softly. strawberrycupidHoneystorm
Marvelstar's head was spinning from all the cats trying to get her attention at once but, she supposed this was what it felt like to be a true leader, even though she had only been a leader for a few moment and was dead not even five minutes ago. right she thought to herself. Once Carvedsnow had returned with cobwebs she took a few and placed them over the open wound on Snowshod the replaced her paws with Carvedsnow's on her father. " Just apply pressure the bleeding will stop soon" she assured the she cat before taking the cobwebs and hurrying off to her next patient. Cleaver
As she passed Pearpaw she stopped, to examine the cut on his leg. It didn't look too bad from what she could tell she nodded in approval, selecting a few of the cobwebbed she carried and quickly wrapped the apprentice's leg. "That'll have to do until we get everyone sorted out here." she told him "I'll check it again later tonight, for now can you help by keeping the kits out of the way? I don't want anyone else hurt." Flurryofstars
Hurrying over to where Abaddon had called her, she badly wanted to check the other she-cat's wounds but knew they had more pressing matters to attend to. Flatting herself against the ground she she stretched out until she could reach the poor little tom kit, her claws hooking into his fur before slowly and gently pulling him out of the way of the debris so that Abby could set it down.
"It's alright little one, don't be afraid we're not going to hurt. you, What's your name? Can you tell me what hurts?" she asked gently, doing her best to keep the worry out of her voice to not further frighten the little kit. @atomheart
