Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Last thread I will do of Frostpaw before I kill her off :’C
Frostpaw was uncomfortable as she looked. Her stomach looked like she had swallowed a moons worth of prey. She lumbered out of the nursery looking for a warm spot to lay that didn’t have snow. She didn’t trust herself to go out of camp in fear of something happening to her and her unborn kittens. She surveyed her surroundings. Her eyes landing on the medicine cat den. She wondered if she should go bother Chestnutheart and Cavepaw to see if there was anything they could do to speed the process, but she knew already she would be met with disappointment. Chestnutheart’s words from her last visit still repeated in her head time and patience is what she had been told. She picked a spot on a flat stone near the nursery. The snow had already been cleared away by either another queen or an elder. It was warm to the touch from the sun beating down on it. It helped warm her grey fur and she was once again lost to her thoughts. Pain sorrow clouded her gaze as she thought about her mate Bogslide. The tom had disappeared over a moon ago not long after her brother’s disappearance.
With the recent batch of promotions, Wistfuldancer could almost feel like she could relax again. For the moment, there were less kits in the nursery, and so her job got easier. It wasn't like she hated her job - no, she loved looking after the young ones - she just didn't know what to say to them, so she was rather certain that none of the kits actually liked her. Plus, she was so awkward around the other nursery aids and queens, it was a wonder she hadn't been kicked out yet. With a small sigh, she left the nursery, her clear blue eyes settling on the form of Frostpaw. Briefly, she wondered if she should just walk away, as it seemed like the queen was trying to relax, but with the recent disappearance of Bogslide... she should check on her, shouldn't she? Searching her brain for anything that she could say, she settled on the cliche "Getting eager to only have to eat for one again?" Wonderful, Wistful, it's not like she's probably heard something like that a million times so far.
