Goldenstar's leadership was blissfully quiet these days. Even with SunClan threatening on their borders and NightClan being their usual deviously quiet selves, she felt safe and comfortable within her own borders. It was a relief. Despite Giantscar's hulking frame and rough exterior, the she-cat often felt threatened by large patrols and groups of warriors coming to get her. They haunted her dreams.
But it was safe here in the wheat. Or so she thought; as she sniffed onward at a prey trail, she noticed a dog scent crossing over her rabbit. One of those griffon dogs that lived in the Everbleeds. Giantscar frowned. "Someone needs to take care of those things," she grumbled crossly.

"My thoughts exactly!" Splashgaze huffed.
The fact that the two had crossed paths in the golden pastures was purely coincidental as the peacekeeper was on a mindless stroll and not following the prey scent that Giantscar was after. It was also a coincidence that she'd overheard the other warrior, but she was never one to stay out of someone else's business. Besides, the dogs were a nuisance and she wanted to let someone know she felt that way. Although, she wasn't really familiar with this she-cat. She'd only ever seen her around in passing until now, but now that she was up close, Splashgaze really took note of Giantscar's appearance.
Well, she didn't exactly meet the beauty standards of DayClan, but she was definitely intimidating. A total far-cry from Splashgaze's feather-soft calico pelt and delicate figure. "I'm surprised you haven't signed up for that job," she mewed in awe.
