Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"You were WAY over the line FLUFFBALL!" Fluffypaw hissed at the SummerClan warrior.
"I chased the prey only a TINY bit over your scent line and it was already wounded from my scratches," Cannaway argued to the WinterClan patrol. He had been on a walk when he found prey and well, why not take advantage of it. But it had run just a little further, he knew he shouldn't have gone for it, but it wasn't like he ran deep into WinterClan's borders, plus he was already back to the border scent mark with the squirrel.
"Fluffypaw, I'm sure we can sacrifice one squirrel," Windyhurricane argued, he was a WinterClan cat, but he had previously been a SummerClan redguard not long ago.
"SHUT IT SUMMER LOVER!" Fluffypaw growled before pointing an adorable accusatory paw back at Cannaway, "Gimme that squirrel or I'll tell the entire mountain you punched me."
"Kids, their a handful," Windyhurricane shrugged trying to tug Fluffypaw back from grabbing at the squirrel.
SummerClan's borders were closed. No cats in, no cats out. Ratstar had been clear about that. Alabastercharm thought it was a bit of a knee-jerk reaction, but he understood why the leader had done it, most of the outside Clans were either kindling or fully on fire. SummerClan didn't need to be part of that. So, when he scented WinterClan on the border, he instantly felt dread settle in the pit of his stomach. Of course this had to happen when I'm the patrol lead for once.
"Don't worry, Alabastercharm. WinterClan cats aren't so bad," Wispycloud assured him, but he wasn't so sure. The mountain cats' personalities were as unforgiving as the peaks they called home. Still, he was happy that Wispycloud was the one that was with him, she had a level-head and WinterClan ties. With her present things should go smoothly.
"SHUT IT SUMMER LOVER!" He heard a younger cat growl and he felt the fur along his shoulders rise. He saw Carraway, a piece of fresh-kill and a few other cats gathered at the border. It wasn't hard to put the pieces together and honestly he was relieved, these sorts of things weren't so hard to---
"Windy...!" Wispycloud's voice went up an octave as she addressed the WinterClan Warrior. She took a few steps toward him, her tail sticking straight in the air, she was so excited to see him! But then she remembered that they were technically rival Warriors and she had an image to upkeep. Lowering her tail slightly, she cleared her throat and started again more formally, "Windyhurricane, you seem to be doing well. May I ask what is going on here?"
She'd grown quite a bit since she'd last seen her father. She looked a lot more like him. Wispycloud was large for a she-cat and, although her fur was lighter and a shorter than her father's, it fluffed out and entangled debris same as his. Of course, she was meticulous in grooming her pelt, so there were only a few leaves and twigs here and there, hardly anything compared to the mess of Windyhurricane's pelt. It was sort of a poetic justice, though. She'd always made fun of her dad for being messy only to gain his curse later in life when her winter coat finally came in.
(Jadie Pinging you because this rps old since I've been absent)
"Hey, how's my mountain climber doing," Windyhurricane teased, remembering how Wispycloud used to climb up on him as a kit, "We were patrolling when we saw Cannaway go over the scent line just a bit, no biggie, but Fluffypaw's really proud of rules. She doesn't want cats going over our borders at all."
"He went WAY over the border, are you kidding me! He practically ran into us, I'm just glad another warriors come out here," Fluffypaw said before pointing to Wispycloud, "Come over here, you have my blessing. Come smell just how far he got into our territory. I'm not being nitpicky, he went over and beyond that line."
Cannaway scoffed, but Fluffypaw had a point, he should have given up chasing the rabbit much sooner and had plenty of time to realize he had overstepped, but instead kept hunting what he had chased onto WinterClan's territory.
