A small white she-kit tumbled clumsily out of the nursery. Rolling over herself until she came to stop on her back staring up at the sky in wonder "It's beautiful!!" she purred, paws outstretched reaching for clouds as if she could catch them claws kneading the open air playfully before rolling over and shaking out her long pristine coat. Cats were coming and going out of the clan's temporary home, but it was the only home she ever knew. Southkit blinked, trying to take in all the sights and sounds of the busy camp, not realizing she was in the way of one of the more busy path ways.
Dapplebreeze was so lost in thought that she didn't notice the white mass in front of her. The Janus tripped straight over the kit, landing on her side before jumping back to her paws in embarrassment.
"Watch where you're standing," she chided, immediately lashing out at the she-kit. Dapplebreeze wasn't used to being in the camp with everyone else anymore. It was honestly her fault, but the humiliation warming her cheeks wouldn't let her admit that.

"I sowry" she squeaked, leaping back and dipping her head repeatedly, before taking in the sight of dappledbreeze and stopping staring up with wide eyes "You so pretty!! Are you a queen? A Princess?" she blinked, her tail waving high in the air in excitement. She looked like the queens in her mother's stories, or at least how she imagined them to look. With her pretty fur, and the the painted designs swirling around like little flames around her fur. Noticing the circle on her head she leaped up on her hind legs put one tiny paw inside "You must be important! Momma said the important cats wear paint on their heads"
Dapplebreeze raised an eyebrow in surprise as a paw landed right in the circle on her head. "I suppose I am important," she said, voice changing tones as she realized the kit wouldn't laugh at her. "It's a privilege I have, doing hard work for SunClan."
She tilted her head, looking at the white kitten below her. "You're very pretty too, you know. What is your name?"

Southkit grinned "I knew it!! Come on you have to tell me your name!" she purred warmly, dropping down onto all four with awe in her gaze "I neva met a real princess before!" she looked down at her long white coat and then back at the older she-cat "I'm not as pretty as you! My coat is only one color, you have a lot!" though she was pretty her white coat had come at a cost. Her vision was blurry, though she wasn't entirely blind. It mostly affected her depth perception and it made the colors on Dapplebreeze's pelt appear smeared but beautiful. Like a water color painting
"Mine is Dapplebreeze," replied the Janus. "But I'm not a princess." She looked at Southkit thoughtfully and made up her mind. Gesturing with her tail, she said to the kit, "I have an idea. Follow me."

"Oh" she replied with a slight tilt of her head blinking up at the older cat "I get it. You are NOT a princess" she winked with a sweet smile. Of course Dapplebreeze wouldn't want her telling everyone that she was a princess, that would be ruining her secret. A secret princess! She couldn't believe her luck as she rose to her paws, with an excited yip "Are you going to take me to your castle?!?!?!?!"
Dapplebreeze smiled at the wink. Southkit's enthusiasm was adorable and the Janus was inclined to play along for the moment. "I'm afraid I can't do that, but I think you'll be just as happy with where we're going!"
She led the white kit over to an area of the camp that had various paints - though not as many as SunClan had before here - and squatted down to meet Southkit eye-to-eye. "Now, how would you like to add a little color to your fur? Maybe it will make you feel more beautiful." She searched the paints for the acceptable color for a kit.

"I would love to!!!" she squeaked, sitting down and peering down at the paints with wide eyes "I want....." she trailed off eyes scanning over the many colors. She pulled the little shell filled with paint over next to her "THIS ONE!" she pointed at the pretty pastel pink paint "and THIS ONE" she pulled some purple over to her side "Can you make me look like a princess to?"
