Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Shadowkit pouted and released Duskkit, "Fiiiine. Hurry up though. I mean, it's not like we need to eat to survive," He said with the princely treatment to never know starvation or feel hunger. He was fed before he knew he was hungry and comforted before he realized he was sad. Negativity past some uncomfortable nightmares had yet to enter his life.
Duskkit scowled, but he wasn't about to argue. He sprinted back to his prey and embraced it like a best friend, protectively curling his body around it as he set to work eating. Mhmm. Delicious. Worth the wait. When he was nearly done, he hesitated, then slowed his bites to stall out having to go with the other kit.
Shadowkit watched in horror as his new friend curled around that prey like it was his best friend. Maybe Duskkit was never his to have. Duskkit never look at him like he looked at that piece of prey, with lovesick happiness and loyalty. Shadowkit's tail dragged against the ground as he paced back and forth waiting for his friend to finish as patiently as he could.
When the last scraps were gone, he sighed wistfully, but it had been a good meal. He cleaned his whispers and mouth with a swipe of his tongue, then stood up and padded back over to Shadowkit. "Okay, now I'm ready," he announced calmly.
"Great!" Shadowkit squeaked before groaning, "I mean fi-na-lly! You were taking forever! C'mon, we're losing daylight."
The tom lead their way past camp and towards a small glade with a massive puddle in the center, "We're going to make a clan here. I shall be Mossstar, that's my new name. MOSSSSSSS. What will your new name be?"
He still wasn't very happy about leaving the camp, but he no longer got to protest. Shadowkit had waited, so he had to give something too. He glanced around the glad and padded up the puddle, poking the surface with a paw to watch it ripple. "Uh, Duskkit," he replied absently.
"Okay your name can be Fleetinglight, great name for you! Anyways, as Mosstar of um... What the heck did I just name this clan, y'know what it's named after me now, MossClan. Fleetinglight where are my patrols full of prey? I can't believe you let me down like this," Shadowkit pouted.
Duskkit snorted in amusement as he was completely ignored. "Mossstar, you have bees in your brain," he told him, playing along and rolling his eyes. "You told me to send patrols to the borders instead of hunting."
