Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Ribbondance poked her head into the apprentice's den at the crack of dawn, looking around for her new assignment. "Mintpaw?" she said, in the loudest whisper she could manage without crossing the line into a regular speaking voice. "Are you up? I was wondering if you'd like to get some training done early in the day, so you could have the afternoon off..."
if you took every single OP of every single training thread posted on classic and combined them i feel like this OP is the product of that xD also whoops better tag cookie
Mintpaw covered her face with her paws and groaned loudly. Ribbondance was already waking her up? Having the afternoon off didn't sound worth it at the moment, but she supposed she shouldn't make a bad first impression. "Comin'," grumbled the new apprentice, trying to keep herself from nodding back off immediately. "Jus..wait a minute...."
Her eyes closed on their own and she had to yank her head back up with force. "Coming now," she called again, louder. Oh for StarClan's sake, Ribbondance had probably already left her.
The she-cat pressed up as hard as she could, finally rising to her paws. One deep stretch later and she stumbled out of the den, blinking her mint green eyes sleepily. biyuu ☆彡
Ribbondance blinked as her apprentice approached. "That was quite the impressive display of willpower in there," she said, only half-joking. Mintpaw's sleepy blinking was making her kind of tired, too. Maybe they could should something other than hunting technique, just in case she fell asleep in the middle of a hunter's crouch and make a fool out of herself.
"We've got some options," she said, padding through camp and up to the exit. "We can take it easy and do some light walking through the territory--maybe a history lesson, or something, I dunno--or we could do some more technical hunting, fighting practice, or whatever. Your call, though." She cringed internally as she spoke. When did she turn into such a tryhard 'cool mentor' stereotype?
"Well, it's one of the most important parts," Ribbondance stressed, leading Mintpaw out of the camp and in the direction of the training hollow. "More important parts include knowledge of the warrior code, knowledge of the territory, being informed about other Clans' cultures and traditions...but I don't really feel like teaching that kind of stuff right now, so fighting it is. We can just do that other stuff later, right?"
