Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. (I need 1 more post to meet the requirement so I figured I would do a post battle thread when Flaming loses her life from her injuries)
It was the night after the big battle with Sunclan. Many of the Nightclan warriors were rattled and bruised. Flamingstar had the worst of the injuries after having a long overdue stand-off with Burningsummer and lost humiliatingly. Burningsummer, who was thought to be on the same team, shoved Flamingstar into the fire after witnessing Flamingstar attempting to murder her own kits. Though, the treacherous attempt remained a secret for now, Burningsummer and Alabastor knew the truth. By heaven's grace, and pure luck, Bleakwind managed to get to Flamingstar in time to put out the flames around her. While Flamingstar was still alive for now, her burns and injuries were very serious.
The Nightclan leader laid motionlessly in her den, fur missing from several parts on her body. The burns blistered into bubbles of puss, and her fur clumped from all of the poultice plastered onto her wounds in attempt to heal them. Even though the poultice felt good and cool on her burns, she was still in excruciating pain. However, something didn't feel right. She felt sick as if she was about to vomit. The air felt much cooler than normal and it made her shiver. Sweat plastered what was left of her fiery red fur to her skin. She couldn't breath, she couldn't speak, and she was drifting in and out of consciousness.

Rumblestag could smell the stench of burning flesh and infection before he stepped foot in his leaders den. His own wounds burned fiercely, a long gash running from ear to shoulder would earn him a new scar. That, along with another gaping wound to his flank had him sent back to camp, any more and he might have fallen. He had been on his way to the medicine cat when he passed his leaders den, concern for her well being causing him to check.
"Flamingstar?" he called out, taking a cautious step into her cave. He was taken aback by her state, his chocolate colored ears pressing back to his skull. "By the stars," he cursed, dropping low and creeping to her side. "Flamingstar, can you here me?"
(No worries!! Yeah, a lot has changed and things will keep changing in Nightclan right now because I'm still sculpting it a little to hopefully improve it's activity! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask! <3)
There was no answer at first, the only response that came from the leader was a barely audible grunt. After a split moment of silence, one of Flamingstar's intense turquoise eyes opened slightly to look at Rumblestag. Mustering up the rest of her strength, she managed to say, "fetch...Ahava..." Her voice was shaky and raspy, sounding almost as if she had been gargling nails. After finally getting out what she needed to say, Flamingstar fell out of consciousness again. Honeystorm
Rumblestag's eyes grew wide at the last thing his leader uttered. Part of him didn't want to leave her here like this, so defenseless. His body screamed to stay, so much as to his claws digging into the blood packed earth underpaw. But he knew he would be no help here without a medicine cat. Scrambling out of the den, the wounded warrior pounded into the camp and opened his jaws to draw in the scent of the scarlet and black pelted she-cat. Her herb tinged smell soon hit him, and the long legged tom was off in pursuit.
Ahava Vairocana was in her den, stacking herbs in cubby-like holes. She hummed softly, an eerie lullaby echoing out from the space to greet Rumblestag as he stepped inside. Even in the shadowy interior, when she stepped out of the small storage room into the main healer's den, she could see the tom's form as he stepped inside, void black eyes settling on him, though only one could actually see, a large burn scar surrounding the area of her blind left eye. Still, the she-cat's gaze silently roved along the veins and arteries that popped out in her sight.
She wasn't open about her elemental ability, and given that it was entirely visual, allowing her the ability to see the blood vessels of living creatures, it was easily just passed off as if she was checking for injuries. Which she was, just not necessarily how they were intending. "Who needs help?" Given the fire and the fact they'd faced off with SunClan, she did have a few stacks of prepared sets for cats who were hurt. She'd just been finishing up after making a few for burns, as she hadn't exactly expected a fire. That wasn't the sort of thing you could predict.
There was always that made him unsettled around the medicine cat, the death-like stillness around her. But she was a damn good healer and took care of the Clan, so Rumblestag put aside his feelings and met her eye directly. "It's Flamingstar," he growled, short tail waving with anxiety. "It's bad."
