The sun had since fallen below the horizon, but while most of SunClan was headed to sleep Darkpaw was wide awake. SunClan had been having some sucess bringing back food from MoonClan's land, but not a lot. So he decided to try something a little different, MoonClan mostly hunted at night so it would make sense for them to do the same while they were staying her. Making sure that his sister was still asleep, he slipped out of their temporary den making his way towards the exit Cleaver
There was no rest in his dreams anymore. Dragonfly had only just begun to nod off when he felt the flames spring up again in his mind, unbearable heat scorching him until he couldn't stand to be in the warrior's den anymore. He stumbled out and into the darkness of the empty camp, panting hard as the cool air condensed on his whiskers.
He was still out there when he saw a lone figure slipping out the camp exit. The pale-furred tom rose and caught up to him in a few soft steps, crossing his former denmate's path and blocking him from leaving.

It wasn't much of a surprise, when Dragonfly followed after him. It was rather off for a SunClan to be going out at night, but what had surprised him is that he actually stood in his way. With a huff, Darkpaw simply changed directions, going off on his own path. It was a rather stupid question... One that didn't deserved his recognition nor an answer. If the tom wanted to follow along than so be it, but nor was he going to encourage it. He had always done better hunting alone.
He walked along one of the well worn paths, the light of the moon making the star markings across his cheeks shimmer and shine. His long black fur making him look far more natural than he ever had in SunClan's desert. His ear flickered, suddenly verring of the path as he dropped into a hunter's crouch.
"Darkpaw, did you hear me? Darkpaw," he hissed quietly. It was colder out here during the night than it was during the day, and he found his short fur was already stucking up on end against the crisp chill. He already missed the desert plains that he blended in so well with and was comfortably warm racing upon.
But he couldn't let the other cat go, not without knowing why. What if he ran into another reanimated body? Dragonfly shook his head and hurried after him, muttering under his breath the whole way, "please just tell me where we're going. Or better yet, just head back now. You can go out alone once you're a whereior, okay?"

If this cat didn't shush he was gong to scare off all the prey. He suddenly turned, placing a paw firmly up the other cat's lips his blue gaze meeting his in silent warning..."Quiet" Dragonfly may be a warrior, but he wasn't about to let anyone intimidate him into doing something that he didn't want to do. Once he thought he older cat got the message, he went back to work feet gliding smoothly over the dew covered grass alert for signs of prey. Finally the sound of an animal scurrying along the roots of the trees could be heard. He slowed nearly to a stop, creeping forward until the mouse came into view. It was scrawny, but at least it was something to put inside the belly of his starving clan-mates. In a smooth motion he leaped, killing it quickly and returning to Dragonfly with his catch "Hunt under moon"
