Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
PLAYER ONE – AESHMA DAEVA The last time he could remember supporting the new MoonClan leader, Marvelcanvas, was... never. What kind of brother would he be if he didn't stick by cute little Levy's side? Of course, then the tom up and vanished. He didn't blame him, but also, he completely and frequently imagined what it would be like to have the tom's blood on his claws and the taste of vengeance on his tongue. He smiled good-naturedly, though there was a glint in his eye, grin threatening to split into something a little more demonic. He had thought this new leader was a complete wimp. After she had allowed them to be driven from their home, he had wanted nothing more than to scream in her face for a bit. Now, though, there was a power emanating from her that he craved. Offering an empty promise only wasted time – of course harm would come to them, he couldn't wait – but he supposed that was the diplomatic procedure. He resisted rolling his eyes. Politics.
PLAYER TWO – DEVRAJ Sharp eyes looked on at the SunClan cats that resided in what was once their home. He cared little for the words passed between the MoonClan leader and SunClan leader. He awaited only for the signal to charge forward and rend flesh from bone. He was a loyal warrior and a machine in battle. This was his purpose. More than likely, it was the only reason he was here: extra muscle. He rolled his shoulders and popped his neck.
PLAYER THREE – KAIKANE Standing in the back, overseeing the events playing out with very little concern or interest. The name of the game was survival and success, not meaningless sacrifice over the material. They could always find a new home. He didn't understand why she was willing to sacrifice life and limb for something that was so easily replaceable. The tom glanced back at his friends – his pawns – to gauge their reactions. Athelstan, Vihan, Ren, Elian, Azura, Akari, Sitara, Jacek... These were the ones important enough to fight for and protect. He would ensure their lives before anyone else in this clan. He had no loyalty to MoonClan, only an understanding that it was a place to stay until he hatched his plans.
PLAYER FOUR – RUNE It had been a long time since he'd been in a fight. Conflict reminded him too much of what once was – a monarchy, live executions, trial by twisted jury – and he did his best to avoid those triggers. He worked with what he had in his arsenal to verbally combat Marvelcanvas's attempts at rallying an invasion party, but she'd been insistent, and he hadn't won an argument since he was boyar. The white tom dug his claws into the soft earth, attempting to connect himself to what was once a highly spiritual place, but that now felt tainted and dark. He shook himself and breathed deeply.
PLAYER FIVE – STYGIAN He... shouldn't be here. He was just supposed to be learning about how to be mystical and religious and whatever else MoonClan prided themselves for, but now here he was. Stuck in a battle in a clan he didn't want to be in. He glanced over at Royalpaw, hoping his nervousness wouldn't show on his face. Even though he got the impression they weren't friends yet, he already found comfort and strength in the other tom's presence. As long as Royalpaw was here... Things would be alright. Right? They were the two best fighters in the clan! They'd definitely reign victorious. He puffed out his chest with a smile.
PLAYER SIX – ZESTAL ENAM VI "That's an interesting choice on your part, but kudos to you." The black tom stretched a bit, shaking his ebony fur out, little specks of glitter flinging themselves off and covering the ground beneath him in sparkling greatness, though there was still plenty left to color his velvet rich pelt. "Let's just hope it doesn't end with tears and a lot of goo."
Marvelcanvas let out a frustrated growl as she sprang away from the SunClan leader. Of course he was just trying to get under her skin, that much was obvious. Her ark blue eyes found the gash Bloodystar had left on her shoulder, then her gaze rose to meet his. "SunClan doesn't belong on MoonClan territory!" If there was one thing the acting Cardinal wasn't it was diplomatic. She launched forward quickly sinking her claws into the Priest's exposed underbelly. "Seeing as you refuse to leave peacefully we'll just have to make you" she sneered. If a fight was what her brother wanted then it was what he was going to get. Jadie

AppleCrumble - SC ->> Applecrumble leaped at the opportunity to get into another fight, it didn't really matter who it was. She didn't have a particular grudge against the Moon loving clan like some of her clan-mates, she just enjoyed the thrill of the fight. The taste of blood on her tongue, the feeling of claws ripping through flesh. Her yellow eyes quickly found their target, a she-cat watching close by as the High Priest fought against his sister. No that just wouldn't do. She wanted to know who was going to win this. Pushing off with her back legs, she powered her way through crowd launching herself right towards Whisperwisp. The hints of browns and yellows in her tortioseshell coat glimmering in the low light Hex
Innocesntlamment - SC ->> Not wasting time, Innocentlament began searching the sea of unfamiliar moonclan faces. The easiest way to send them running would be to take out their leaders. It seemed as if her own sister was leading the charge, a fact the very much angered her but there was little she could do. She would have to leave her to Bloodystar for now, and help him in other ways. Thats when her gaze found Subaru, weaving through the crowd as if trying to avoid the crowd. Her claws dug into the earth, before blocking his bath, her lips pulled back into a hiss "So you are the one behind this" simplylight
Brightdawn - SC ->> A thin wispy black she-cat leapt towards Rune's back, aiming to grab his scruff. Her mother had once been MoonClan's leader, and it didn't feel right for them to be fighting, but she would do what was needed to defend her clan. ѕнαdow✩
Whisperwisp wasn't shocked when a tortoiseshell had hurled herself at her, but it didn't stop the irritation from tightening her chest. With a quiet, disappointed sigh, the silver molly side-stepped and watched as Applecrumble went past her, brown eyes blinking with a mused expression. Whisperwisp's offensive attacks weren't the greatest, but she excelled at defense. She stared at the tortoiseshell blankly, a lack of reaction on her face. Whisperwisp said nothing and just stood there, awaiting her opponent's next attack. racer
Discordantmelody took one look at Phantomfox and scrunched up her nose as if his scars were some kind of off-odor, "Let's hope you fight as good as you sound!" She snarled as she parried his blow and tried to land one of her own against his right shoulder, raven-black claws unsheathed and gleaming in the moonlight. As scary as she was, however, her target wound location was hardly a fatal one. This was like a game for her and she didn't want to destroy all of her pieces right away. woof
"For once we agree!" Bloodystar growled, although his vocalizations soon turned to a pained shriek as Marvelcanvas raked her claws part of the way down his stomach. He dulled the pain as soon as it came to him, though, which meant he was able to continue fighting at near full strength despite the fact that already he had a considerable amount of blood loss. He wouldn't be able to keep it up for long but it wasn't like he needed a lot of time to put his sister in place.
Raising one paw he feigned a blow before redirecting at the last second and ramming his skull into Marvelcanvas's. The impact still echoed in his ears as he lifted his other paw now and aimed his next blow at her neck, "Did you let the Moon Goddess poison your heart same as Littlecrow?! Look at how well that worked out for her!" @samiam
The large gray-and-white apprentice lunged at Devraj, honey brown eyes blazing with hatred. In his mind he represented good while MoonClan represented evil, so this wasn't just a battle to earn territory, no, it was something holy. Something the Gods were surely watching. He'd fight until he couldn't fight any longer or Bloodystar called them off, whichever came first.
"There are Queens and Kits here, yet Selene still guides you to violence!" He growled, swiping at Devraj's left flank, "Some Goddess you have chosen to worship!" ѕнαdow✩
"We are running," Allaria said firmly as she stuck her head into the nursery in search of her mother and the kits. She didn't want to fight this pointless battle, it was clear that SunClan wouldn't win it, not only were they unprepared but they were still licking their wounds from the last two battles. The fact that Bloodystar hadn't realized that only further proved the fact that the High Priest had lost his mind. But she didn't care. All Allaria wanted to do was keep her family safe at all costs, "I don't know where Damek is, but he can fend for himself. Between you, me and Hakoda, we can get everyone..." Then her dragon blue eyes drifted to other forms in the nursery, countless kits, terrified queens... all looking at her with wide eyes and fluffed out fur... "..." racer + any kits / queens / any cats in the nursery
The force of the impact was enough to make Marvelcanvas's teeth audibly clack together, and start a ringing in her ears that left her mildly disoriented. She stumbled back blinking a few times before shaking her head in an attempt to clear it. She wasn't fast enough to dodge his second strike, the blow to her throat temporarily rendering her speechless. If it wasn't obvious before that her brother didn't intend to hold back it was now. In a moment of frustration she lurched forward sinking her teeth into the ginger tom's ear.
"You stupid furball!" She snarled, as soon as she broke away from her brother putting some space between them so she could answer his question. "What happened to Littlestar wasn't Selene's fault! You're the one who publically shamed and mutilated her not Selene. If that is what it means to welcome the Sun God into your heart then I'm glad I chose Selene over him." There was no anger or hatred in her gaze now as she regarded the SunClan leader instead there was only pity and sorrow. Jadie
Bloodystar shook his head free and had the same idea as Marvelcanvas; he took a couple of steps back. He had a few new scratches and a pretty good gash but was still standing thanks to the influence of his element. His eyes burned as they rested on his sister, searching her stance for weakness while he spoke to her.
"Did you forget what Littlecrow did to the Sun God? Your true God!? She and the Moon Goddess became one being and slew him in front of all of the Forest Clans. Public shame. Then, when Selene was done using her, she dropped her from the highest tree and broke her body long before I so much as lifted a claw toward her. Mutilation," He hissed, lunging at Marvelcanvas again, his goal this time being to knock her feet out from underneath her, "What I did to her next was a mercy compared to Selene's wrath!"
The cardinal rolled with the attack, moving out of the Tom's way should he try to attack again before jumping back up to her feet. She stared at Bloodyrondo ad if she didn't recognize the cat standing before her. Maybe once there was a time she would of been proud to be SunClan but that time had passed.
"You're wrong, Selene didn't discard Littlestar after she was done with her. Killing the Sun God weakened Selene and made the moon bleed. She never meant to hurt Littlestar." Now her voice was strong as she rushed towards her brother her jaws going right for his throat. For all their disagreements and his blatant hatred for her she didn't want to kill him but there was no reasoning with him now. If she didn't at least slow him down one of them wouldn't be walking away from this fight. She sunk her teeth in as far as her jaw would let her, then after a moment released him her muzzle painted crimson with his blood. "He's not my god." She spat baring her bloodied teeth at him. "You will burn following him, he's already charred your heart."
He neither dodged nor flinched at the feel of her claws penetrating his flesh, pinpricks of blood oozing out between them and soaking into his fur. He allowed this to happen to continue his charge, using one leg to attempt to pierce his own claws into her shoulder in a way that would lock them in a half embrace while his other paw aimed at the side of her head. Subaru's tail lashed as Innocentlament blocked his few from Marvelcanvas. "Me? Isn't your group the one taking homes for no reason?" He snapped in return, darting to one side to attempt a blow to her shoulder. "Puh, blaming this mess on me. You've got some nerve." Of course, he had learned in the past few moons that all Sunclan cats had was nerve. Rasalas had proved that point plenty of times during his take over. Then they had to go and cause more problems. racer
"How do you know that, though!? Did you speak with Moon Goddess? Did you let her corrupt your soul same as Littlecrow did, so much so that you believe her pathetic lies?" Bloodystar snarled, finally realizing that there was not hope for Ruinedportait. She was a traitor just like the rest of them, picking the easy way out with the only deity left instead of bringing back the one that had loved and protected her for her entire life. His celadon eyes hardened, "You're not my sister anymore... you're just another one of the Moon Goddess's demons, hell-bent on destroying all cats who know the Truth of the Sun God, from the youngest kit to the oldest senator. I wish you could see your goddess as she really is, but it's too late, there's no going back. The best I can do for you is pray that the Sun God has mercy on your soul!"
Letting out a fearsome yowl, Bloodystar lunged at Ruinedportrait's throat and bit down with all of the force he could muster. When he did so he afflicted the MoonClan cardinal with his all-consuming pain curse; he would make her death as painful as he possibly could to pay for the crimes she had committed. The next time he saw Littlecrow, he would not hesitate to do that same. Letting her live this long was his most critical mistake. @samiam
Discordantmelody's reaction was much that same as her opponents,' not dodging or flinching as his claws drug into her shoulder. In fact, her smile widened, almost spreading from ear to ear. Instead of pulling away she leaned into the blow and put her muzzle up to his ear, "You'll have to try harder than that if you want to dance with me!" She said frigidly, giggling at the end of her statement before rearing back and slamming her skull into Phantomfox's. woof
She couldn't answer any of his questions but his reaction has only affirmed what she had told him about his heart being charred. As much as she wanted to go out with dignity she couldn't help the panicked feeling that set in as his teeth tightened around her throat, tighter and tighter until she could feel her airways being crushed from the force behind it. What was worse was she could hardly feel his grip on her at all behind the pain that raged through her, making her every move more agonizing than the actual wound. All at once she stopped struggling as fell still, her gaze locked with Bloodyrondo's for what seemed like an eternity until her vision began to blur.
Blood bubbled on her lips as she stubbornly still tried to take in air, but she couldn't inhale. Even now there was no fear in her eyes as she stared into her brother's hateful gaze. "I- I'm... s-s-sorry." she managed to choke out with her last remaining breath. She didn't have it in her to finish whatever she was apologizing for before she fell limp in her brother's grasp, the light slowly fading from her eyes.
Something had changed. Ruinedportait was no longer fighting against his grip; if fact, she felt heavier than a bag of stones. He was no longer able to hold onto her dead weight. Bloodystar dropped the cardinal unceremoniously onto the ground.
"I- I'm... s-s-sorry."
After she spoke, her sides went still and all was silent. Bloodystar froze, her words lingering in his heart. Sorry for what? That look on her face when she spoke didn't fit the situation, it was more sadness, no fear, no regret. Despite the raging battle, Bloodystar let his guard down and nosed at Ruinedportrait's shoulder, but she just rolled back, unmoving. Dead.
Dead?
Bloodystar's breathing grew rapid and his paws felt numb. The break in his concentration shattered any and all illusions he was casting upon himself and all of the pain he had been blocking came roaring back to life. He stumbled back and let out an anguished yowl, pointedly turning away from his sister's corpse, he wanted nothing to do with it.
Glancing around him - anywhere but down - he saw many SunClan cats wounded and dying, suffering pains identical or worse than what he was right now. What else was there to fight for? He'd killed the traitor, but even then SunClan couldn't win this battle. Keep this up and he'd joined his sister in a heap on the ground, too, along with the rest of the Sun God's chosen. He was supposed to protect them, and staying here wouldn't achieve that.
"SunClan! Retreat!" Bloodystar called out, his voice was raw, almost raspy, "Their leader is dead! We have won!"
No, this wasn't a victory, but he would write it as one.
Boysenberrykit had been hiding when he saw his father kill his aunt. In his shock he stumbled out of his hiding spot into the middle of the battle. Somehow the small kitten had been overlooked while the camp was being evacuated. When he heard the call for retreat he tried to charge towards the exit. Of course he was only two moons old, incredibly small and still figuring out his body. The last thing he recalled seeing was the huge form of a tom-cat before being sent flying like a rag doll against his former hiding spot. Boysenberrykit’s body hit the rocks and slumped down, blood trickling slightly out of his nose and mouth. Cleaver

Subaru froze in his tracks, alarm, fury, and grief ripping through his body as he caught the sight of the light fading out of his leader’s eyes. “You MONSTER!” The archbishop yowled at Bloodystar, leaping past Innocentlament to her still body. “This fight is NOT over. You will pay for this. I will personally see to it that you suffer the pain you’ve caused our clan.” His golden eyes burned with lust for revenge and his menacing voice was low with anger. “We are not done with you yet.” Jadie
Bloodystar didn't have the energy to move away from Subaru and just took his attack. In an odd way he almost felt like he deserved it, but immediately he told himself to stop thinking with such a narrow-mind, what he had done was not easy but necessary, "The Moon Goddess is a demon who poisons every heart she's ever touched. Once you've let her in so far... death is a mercy."
He wasn't as fiery as usual, though, more melancholy, resigned. Like he was trying to convince himself. Finally regaining a bit of his composure, he shoved Subaru away from him, hard enough to knock him to the ground if he wasn't prepared, "This fight is over. You can have your cursed territory back, but be warned: I am not your greatest enemy..."
Bloodystar was done talking. Without glancing back he began to walk away, leaving his back completely open, or so it would seem. simplylight

Subaru fell backwards at the shove, grit and leaves crunching into his pet. “We will see about that.” He growled lowly, letting his gaze sweep across all of Sunclan. The former rogue didn’t have much to do with the Moon God but he heard enough about the Sun God to know he had no respect for that one.
He knew they were outnumbered and battered, so a part of him was relieved that they were leaving, but everything in him itched to rake his claws along Bloodystar’s back when he turned away. Rising to his paws, he sank his claws into the dirt to hold himself back and tore his gaze from the leader’s back to the cardinal at his paws. “What god comes before your own sister? I hope for your sake, Bloodystar, that you don’t lose everyone around you because the will of some twisted god. Sounds like death follows his paws as well.” Jadie
Unseenlights was already on her feet gathering up the three newborns before her daughter entered into the nursery. All the queens seemed to be getting ready to move their children but one set of parents in paticular seemed to be struggling "We are all leaving" she agreed she motioned towards the very injured Lionpride and Pollendrone who were struggling with twelve kit that had also been born during the undead invasion "I can carry these three. You and your brothers help grab some of their kits. They won't be able to carry them on their own" JadieHoneystorm
Applecrumble growled deep in her throat ready to launch her next attack, but then the retreat was called. Her lip curled up in a snarl "Well thats a shame. I was really looking forward to fighting with you. Next time we can have a proper battle with no interruptions" With that she spun to hold off the attackers so that some of her clan-mate could begin escaping Hex
Innocentlamment paused, hearing her sister's last words and forgetting about her fight with Subaru as she fell. Her heart sank, watching as her brother stood over her body. She could see the horror in his eyes as he realized what he had done, but in that moment all she could think about was Marvelstar. She made her way over, pushing past the MoonClan cats with a a glaring daring anyone to stand in her way until her nose rested against the she-cat's head. She said a quiet prayer, before lifting her eyes to face Subaru "You are right about one thing, this isn't over" anger burned in her gaze as she spoke "My sister was sent to MoonClan in peace, to be the bridge between our two clans. MoonClan poisoned her mind, and turned her against her family. You not only caused her death, but now my brother will have to live with her death on his shoulders for as long as he lives" a deep growl rumbled in her throat "Enjoy the taste of victory, before it sours" she spat, turning and following after the rest of her clan-mates simplylight
'SunClan! Retreat!' followed by 'Their leader is dead! We have won!'
The latter words though were discounted by the contents of the former. At least in Goldengrace's mind that was the case as she pulled away from the MoonClan cat she'd been clashing with. But she shook herself spitting at the cat before turning to go assist the queens who were burdened with trying to get cats out of the nursery.
She spotted her brother and pollendrone struggling and she made a beeline over to them. "Let me help," She meowed softly, bending down to gather two kits to her to carry. racerNova
Tenebrouspaw had tried to stick close to Ferventpaw during the fighting but he'd gotten separated when a MoonClan cat jumped him. It was a black cat and at first he'd feared it was Lingeringpaw as he knew one of his brothers had been in MoonClan.
But fortunately it was just a random MoonClan cat, that Tenebrouspaw was able to fight off and wriggle free from as Bloodystar's call stopped the moonclanner short. Tenebrouspaw scrambled to escape.
Quickly looking around for any sign of Ferventpaw. racer

Lionpride nodded, passing two of the kits to his sister Goldengrace as she entered into nursery. There wasn't time to aruge and there were far to many kits for him and and Pollendrone to carry on their own. They hadn't even opened their eyes yet, and with most of skin still burned and blistered, it was making it difficult for him to carry as many as he normally could
Ferventpaw had been hiding inside what used to be the healer's den, having the wound on her throat get checked when the moonclan cats invaded. She knew she was in no state to fight, but then the retreat was called. She darted out, her eyes finding Tenebrouspaw in crowd as she tried to call his name, but nothing coming out but a harsh whisper Jetclaw
