“Chimera stay still! I have to see if this will fit…” Daisy said, puffing out one cheek as she concentrated on balancing her newly made flower crown on the top of her brother’s head. It wasn’t really a flower crown, more like a crown of grass and leaves since winter was quickly approaching. But Chimera was too focused on stalking the grasshopper that chirped tauntingly at the young tom.
“Hang on, Daisy..” Chimera said in a hushed whispered as his jade green eyes narrowed in on his “prey”. He had fallen down into a crouch and tried moving forward. But there was no form to it and his steps were too heavy. The grasshopper had sprung away before the young rogue could finally pounce. Daisy was in hysterics, rolling over and holding onto her sides as she watched her brother glare at the spot the grasshopper had been in. Chimera turned his gaze towards his little sister, and stomped over to her.
“Its not funny, sis.” The tortoiseshell tom said between gritted teeth. The statement only made Daisy laugh even harder. woof
Beckoned by the sound of voices, Crow had settled on the fringes of the meadow the siblings were bickering in. They reminded him of his own siblings when they were all younger (though he was only a handful of moons older than Chimera and Daisy) back in the good old days before he ever knew pain and loneliness. He hoped, stupidly, that the twins would never in their life experience such emotions, and he did what he could to protect them from annoyances worse than Chimera's failed stalking attempt.
At the seriousness of the tom's exclamation, he couldn't help but to chuckle to himself, rising to his paws and ambling towards them. "Having trouble pinning down your prey?" Crow could sympathize with him; crippled by a permanent limp, hunting certainly wasn't his strong suit, though he had a passable knowledge and his own techniques to make up for it. With his good paw he poked Daisy in the side lightly, shaking his head in mock disapproval of her teasing.

"Crow!" Daisy squealed, quickly sitting up at the tom's approach. Chimera seemed to straighten up as well, his pelt quickly growing hot with embarrassment.
"N-No...!" Chimera stuttered as his tail fluffed out to twice its size. His ears fell back against his head as he watched Crow make his way over to them. "The grasshopper was just... fast! It was an unfair advantage, that's it!" The tortoiseshell kitten said, while Daisy did her best to stifle her laughter after being poked in her side. She covered her muzzle with her paw while she glanced up at Crow from the corner of her eye.
"Ah, fast, eh? I hate it when they're fast too," he rumbled, sharing a knowing glance with Daisy. It felt odd to be gazed at with the same reverence as the pair before him did, but it wasn't unwelcome. "I can help you with your stalking, if you'd like? Daisy as well. It will do you both good if you plan to live out here," Crow advised them with a seriousness that he didn't often speak with. The life of a rogue was not an easy one, especially for the underprepared, and he didn't want them to rely only on the numbers of the gang.

“Can you?” Daisy chirped excitedly, quickly jumping to her paws. Her amber eyes grew bright with excitement as she all but bounced on her paws. Chimera did his best to hide his own excitement, wanting to keep his calm appearance, but was betrayed by the excited wave of his tail.
“Please Crow?” Chimera pleaded as he moved closer. “We want to be like you and the rest of the group!” The tortoiseshell tom exclaimed. “You guys are all so cool with your moves and everything... we want to be cool like that too!”
The fond purr was long-lived, the Syndicate head's affection for the pair growing the more their personalities appeared. "Alright, alright. I guess you two are ready for the Syndicate secrets." There really weren't any, but he liked to see the awe dawn on their expressions at the insinuation of something handed down between gang members. "Both of you get into your best crouch and we'll go from there. Don't worry if it's sloppy-- mine usually are too, so we can work with that." Internally, Crow was grateful for the lessons he got from Orchiddrop during their earlier meetings, which was the only reason he'd been able to survive as a rogue to begin with and the only thing that made him confident enough to pass the knowledge onto Daisy and Chimera. The SummerClan warrior would always outshine him in the aspects of hunting and fighting, but Crow was an attentive student and an even better teacher, so he was certain the siblings would be able to utilize the skills he gave them despite where he lacked.
