yeah, Eternalkit didn't really care for this place. It wasn't as bright. She couldn't lay around in the sun all day, or watch as the light reflected off her light coat. But it made up for it in the different colors of flowers she could find. Even with only sneaking out of camp twice, she had managed to find a good selection of dark colored flowers to weave into her fur. And that's what she was doing on this morning, not even trying to adjust to a different sleep schedule. Eternalkit needed to look good for the day going forth. Blue eyes watched her in the pool below her, little paws adjusting and twirling flowers with a gentle precision most kits didn't know.

Havenkit came flying back into the nursery, her pelt covered in a thick layer of mud. Unlike Eternalkit, Havenkit cared very little about her appearance. She had been out in the main part of camp wrestling with her three brothers, working on her fighting moves before being told that they would have to move their games indoors "Last one inside has to clean out the nest!" she had called to them as she leaped into the nest they shared, leaving a large trail of mud in her wake and flining off quite a bit onto the flowers that Eternalkit had collected.

Harmoniouskit was not as excited as his sister was. His gray tabby coat was caked in mud, and even as we made his way into the den his small paws would suddenly twitch violently as it shook any of the caked-on dirt off. He gave his sister a glare as she dirtied their nest. The young tom let out a soft snort. "Can you for once act like a she-cat?" Harmoniouskit grumbled as he sat down and did his best to clean his fur, only to have more land on him as his Havenkit started flinging dirt and mud everywhere. "And will you be careful! You're not the only one in this den you know!"

There was no mud on Eternalkit's pelt, a small blessing for Havenkit. She was fine to just ignore the raucous of the kits coming into the nursery, free to just keep getting ready. Until she reached over and found her hard-earned flowers covered in mud and Havenkit with her paw lifted. And if the other kit met her eyes, she wouldn't have seen any soul in them. A vacant stare, that was in an instant over her. How the little kit could even move so fast was a mystery, but she didn't appear to think, only act. Eternalkit had watched enough fights, the horrors inflicted told her one thing; violence was the answer. So she knocked the other kit's feet out from under her before pressing both of her paws onto Havenkit's throat, little kitten claws dangerously close to breaking the skin. "What do you think you're doing?" Eternalkit asked blankly, not letting up.

Unfortunately for Eternalkit, Havenkit was no push over. She was constantly wrestling and outsmarting her brother in their little sparring battle. So as soon as the she-kit launched her attack, she tucked in her neck and curled up her back feet. As she hit the ground, she twisted in her grip, using the kit's own momentum against her to slip from her grip and roll to her feet to put some distance between them with a sheepish grin on her face "Well we were having a race before you so rudely interrupted" she scoffed, sitting down on the nest. Still the first of her siblings to make it into the nest.

Was it the first scuffle? Either way, it wouldn't be the last. Eternalkit rolled to the side, grass and moss kicked into the air. The queens could get mad later, it was Havenkit's fault anyway. Before any of it could settle, Eternalkit was back up on her paws. She didn't have the first paw experience, but she made up for it in tenacity. Or in raw unadulterated rage she couldn't control. Shaking her pelt clean, she closed the space between herself and Havenkit. "A race in the mud is perfect for a swine like you." She took a moment to take the state of the nursery in. Mud splattered everywhere and nests beginning to tear apart. "Pigs like you belong outside though." She growled, then shoved the other kit out of the nest.
