Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
As the days past and night turned into day it became clear that Amberbird wasn't returning. Chestnutheart had become the medicine cat of Fallclan. It had been Hystericstar's idea for her to receive her full name. She had received the named Chestnutheart unsure of why the ending -heart. She rolled with it and had settled into the role she had been playing for over a season. A moon after receiving her name she took her apprentice Cavepaw. She saw the desire to learn knowledge and hoped to pass on her knowledge to the young tom. Today she was going to let the apprentice relax and go have fun with the other apprentices. As she emerged from her den she noticed a light dusting of snow had fallen throughout the night. Blanketing the camp with glistening beauty. The snow was mostly untouched save for a few paws prints outside her den. She curiously placed a paw down in the snow then lifted it sharply due to the cold. Leaving behind a small pawprint. She wasn't a fan and wondered now how she found the snow enjoyable as a kit.
Just because Pumpkinspice had seen snow before didn't mean that the kit-like joy that overcame her didn't happen again. In fact, the excitement over the dusting of snow had almost consumed her the moment that she laid eyes on it, and she couldn't contain herself. For once, the first thing that the nursery aid did after waking up wasn't to eat a meal meant for three. No, she was too busy prancing in the snow to notice the ever-present growling of her stomach. It was quite satisfying to watch the perfectly untouched snow crunch underneath her paws, and she had half a mind to roll around in it just to destroy it further. Before she was able to, however, Chestnutheart entered her field of vision, and she gave the young medicine cat a large grin. "Exciting, isn't it?" she said, blind to the obvious distaste that Chestnutheart was showing.
