Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Sooo, do you um... Like it here in SunClan?" Eclipsepaw smiled anxiously.
In truth she wasn't sure how to feel about it. SunClan forced them into their territory, but at the same time they would have froze in DayClan and were now well fed. Then their mom made them change their names, but they would get to choose their own warrior names themselves down the road so that would be cool. At the same time people didn't like the name Luna and she wasn't sure how to feel about a clan that's so petty as to judge someone for their name. Not only that, but she missed calling her sister by her name Strawberrypaw. She always wondered what her warrior name would someday be and now she'd never know.
Strawberrypaw's gaze darted back and forth suspiciously. She lowered her voice and mewed, "Honestly? No. I miss my name, and SunClan is soooo strict about rules," she sighed. The mischievous apprentice missed sneaking out when she was supposed to be cleaning some elder's nest and doing other slightly illegal things. Like her sister, she was hoping for a totally-awesome warrior name, and now she'd never have one. What a bummer.
"Maybe we should try and run away..." Luna admitted.
The only thing stopping her was her family. She'd have to leave her mom behind who couldn't leave because she was still recovering from kitting. Her dad would never leave her mothers side so he likely wouldn't be able to leave with them. Her foster sister and brothers seemed to be closely watched by SunClan, only they could escape, "Anywhere would be better. The cats around here look at us with pitied eyes and I don't know why, they're hiding something from specifically us, I'm scared."
Dream hesitated to ponder her sister's words. "But Mom and Dad couldn't come with us...we'd be by ourselves." The light blue-grey she-cat sighed, "But on the other paw, you're right. There's something sinister about this whole operation."
"Let's try and run away, if we run maybe we can convince another clan to help save our family. But we don't stand a chance while we're here," Luna said, her eyes staring with hope into her sisters.
Someone was calling out to them and when Luna looked over her shoulder she saw Amber/ Heatherpaw. She sighed out in relief, it was one of their own clanmates. Luna gave a slight wave of her tail in greetings to Amber.
"Some stuck up NightClan cats want us to clean up the makeshift camp in the warrior dens. It's a super huge task so I was hoping maybe you two could help cause I really don't want to do this alone," Amber explained.
The blue-furred apprentice frowned. "Oh." She considered this. "Well, that sounds absolutely awful. That said, I'd be...not quite happy to help, but very much willing for your sake and for the sake of all of our sanity."
Amber lead them over to the warriors den, it definitely reeked of sweat and fear scents. It made Luna's stomach turn, if the warriors were afraid than what chance did she or anyone have? Not to mention most this was a big task, there were only three of them and two clans of warriors merged together.
"We have to clean out all these nests and drain any water that leaked in at the back, it smells awful," Amber gagged.
Dream wrinkled her light pink nose. "Ugh, that's disgusting. How come we have to do it?" she huffed. "But okay, we'd better start doing it. It's such a daunting task that I'm not sure where to begin," complained the apprentice.
Amber started in the corner raking just barely any grime, clearly not wanting to get her paws dirty, "SunClan's not so bad you know. If we actually get in we're essentially superior above everyone else. Like can DayClan honestly offer us that?" She grinned.
Luna looked at Dream and then back at Amber, but decided not to reply and tried scraping at the walls instead to get the caked mud off the stone.
"DayClan was always better than the other Clans anyway, though," Dream pointed out with a swish of her blue-grey tail. She sized up her surroundings and started in the opposite corner from Amber, scraping away at the filth. A mischievous little adventurer, she was used to getting her paws dirty...though it wasn't usually like this.
"Well I don't know about that. StarClan can't make our troubles go away with a swish of their paws. And our leader can't even save us. Foxstar has saved her clan every time and SunClan's never been captured or wounded without hurting someone back. They're clearly better, we didn't even get revenge on the league when they came and hit us," Amber pointed out.
"Heh, yeah well if apprentice chores are anything like this I'm for one glad to have been an apprentice in DayClan. We were always out exploring and would sometimes help out in the nursery, but we hardly had any kits that it hardly was much of a chore. Having only three of us clean two clans worth of warriors is disgusting. I mean look underneath this nest, it's full of preys bones, ew!" Luna said in disgust as she pushed away the nest from her sight.
"Oh, gross," Dream meowed, curling back in repulsion. "Maybe hurting someone back isn't the point, though. I think regaining our strength is the most important part."
