Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
His ears flicked with interest as he padded forward. Sharp, harsh light bounced off of his dark pelt - illuminating soft tufts of his medium length fur. Little echoing trills of music, probably caused by droplets of water, carried past his soft ears. Elmsoot fixed his brightly lit, amber eyes on a glowing gem. Padding forward with a small tilt to his head, he crouched beside it, placing a paw against its cool and rigged surface. He'd never explored the caverns before - it was all extremely interesting down her. And quite beautiful, he had to note.
Aspenspark had a tendency to hang around the caverns quite a bit simply because she didn't care for the company of others too much and they offered her peace and quiet and to top it off they were absolutely beautiful. Her gaze followed Elmsoot for a few minutes, studying him curiously. "It's beautiful isn't it?" she asked after a few moments, moving out of the shadows and towards the gem.
He was slightly startled at the presence of another cat, though he only showed it by a surprised flick of his ear. With a small smile, he traced his gaze back to the gems and the dripping of the water. "It really is," he responded after a moment. With a smaller chuckle, he added, "This is my first time actually coming down here without my mentor giving me a layout of the territory."
Aspenspark twitched her whiskers in slight amusement. "I've been sneaking in here ever since I began my training. It's a nice quiet place to be alone with your thoughts." She stated and was then silent for a moment. "That wasn't brightest idea I ever had, truthfully a lot could have gone wrong, the regime could have invaded while I was alone or I could have been attacked by an animal who decided to make their home here, but at least now I'm old enough to be able to defend myself." She stated distantly, fixing her gaze back onto the gem.
