Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Closing down the borders. Mudthistle didn't like to think of herself as particularly old - this would be her third Leaf-Bare, after all - but even after raking her mind she couldn't remember the last time a Summerclan leader had ever given that order. The frost-covered grass crunched beneath her paws as the lean dark-brown warrior led her small patrol across the Wildflower Meadow, the few flowers that remained in spite of the cold sparkling in the morning light. But perhaps Ratstar was right to do this. Things had gotten too dangerous in the Forest territories lately, and her stomach twisted at the thought of her kits and foster kits getting swept up in the storm. In the distance, the tree-line that marked the Summer-Fall border slowly came into view; the usually vibrant trees now mostly bare branches swinging in the wind. "Stay on guard," she meowed to the cats behind her. "We haven't heard much of Fallclan lately, but you never know."

Cherrysky was adamantly against the decree, having said as much when it was announced, but it hadn't stopped her from performing her duties and joining the patrol. Still, she was withdrawn and grumpy, devoid of her usual chatty commentary. The leafbare sun was weak and did nothing to take the chill from the air. The entire world seemed drained of color and to her, it was a sentence of unhappiness to the clan in light of Ratstar's decision.

Goldenthistle wasn't fond of patrols to begin with, but especially not in the colder seasons. She wasn't sure how helpful she'd even be if they ran into trouble since her combat skills were nearly nonexistent. Still, she walked among the others with her head held high and acting as if it had been her idea to tag along. "Sometimes I forget their clan is still around at all," she remarked as she gave the border a disbelieving sniff. Their scent markers were still there but that didn't change the fact that she hadn't seen a FallClan cat in ages.
