He had thought being an apprentice would have been great. Sure he still had some rules to follow, but he thought it would be more… exciting. Ravenspaw currently had nothing else to do. He was laying about in camp while his sister was out on patrol, batting at a small moth that had made its way towards him. The black furred apprentice let out a small huff as he tilted his head a bit, not lifting it from where it lay. Everyone else seemed content with lying around. Sure there were a few instances where kits started becoming sick, and Chestnutpaw seemed to be doing fine handling it in the absence of Amberbird. He wasn’t sure if there was anything else for him to do, and so he laid around, waiting for something to happen.
"Ravenspaw," Jayjack barked as he came to a halt in front of the lazing apprentice, "have you cleaned out Hystericstar's den? It's been nearly a half-moon since someone refreshed his moss." Some of the apprentices these days were exceptionally poor when it came to obedience, and they seemed prone to laying around doing nothing instead of helping their clan. He didn't know how hard of a worker Ravenspaw was yet, but he was about to find out.

The black-furred apprentice quickly jumped up, his blue eyes shining brightly. A job? Really? Starclan knows he really needed something to do. "Nope! I'll go do that right now! There's fresh moss lying around, watch I can be real quick about it too! I know Hystericstar doesn't like being bothered really, he won't even notice me!" Ravenspaw said with a bright smile before he dashed off towards the leaders den
"Good." Jayjack's tone changed negligibly, but the keen gaze that followed the apprentice was softer. He liked apprentices that did as they were told and served their clan well. That was all he asked of them. He knew he needed to be careful and keep an eye on this one anyway, but so far he was passing. "Come back here once you're done."

Ravenspaw had no time to respond as he quickly disappeared into Hystericstar’s den. The black-furred tom quickly got to work rolling up the dirty moss into a semi-neat ball which he then rolled out of the leader’s space. He quickly rolled it towards the entrance of the camp, before he paused. He quickly shook out his fur before he looked back at Jayjack. “I’ll be right back! Just going to bring this out of the camp and get some fresh moss!” He shouted before he started rolling the dirty moss ball through the camp entrance
