Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
These are adoptables that have ties to my new lass, Whisperwisp. Please read her bio here to find out more info about her. ♥ These adoptables ARE open to being changed, just please ask beforehand!
♀ NETTLEFLURRY — a flame point ragdoll cat with light grey-blue eyes. 48 moons. — OPEN
Nettleflurry was born to Badgertooth and Flameshine, though the memories she has of them are scarce. They disappeared shortly after she had turned three moons, and nobody knows what happened to them, or why they had left (if that was even the case). They were just gone. Nettleflurry had to raise herself, for most of the clan didn't want anything to do with her. There was one queen who would help Nettleflurry here and there, but she wouldn't ever involve her with her kits. Nettleflurry was seen as bad luck, all because her parents had disappeared mysteriously. Rumors flew that she was the reason. Because of this, Nettleflurry grew up alone, and her social skills lacked greatly. It wasn't any surprise that when the mated tom Twistedsmile had set out to woo her, he was very successful. Nettleflurry was desperate for attention, any kind, and so it was easy for Twistedsmile to seduce her. Nettleflurry was barely a warrior when he courted her, and at sixteen moons old, she gave birth to a single son, who had the same pelt as her yet the same twisted muzzle as Twistedsmile. It was obvious that he was the father, yet he denied it profusely, and his mate seemed unphased by his unfaithful behavior; either she whole-heartedly believed him, or this wasn't the first time he had done this. Nettleflurry decided to name her son Crookedkit, who would come to be known as Crookedsnout, and she loved him with her whole heart. She promised herself that she would never leave him like her parents left her, and to cherish him every day as long as she shall live. When Crookedsnout had become a warrior, and then he had found a mate - Whisperwisp, of all felines - Nettleflurry was beyond ecstatic. Not only would her only son be happy in life with a she-cat that looked at him like he was the entire universe, but also Nettleflurry would become a grandmother, and her family would be complete. Nettleflurry's happiness and daydreams were short-lived when Whisperwisp's parents had stirred quite the commotion, and Nettleflurry watched in horror as Whisperwisp's father - Darkquill - lunged at Crookedsnout, killing him in one blow. In one moment - one, measly moment - Nettleflurry's entire world was ripped away from her. Nettleflurry mourns to this day for her son, but moons after his death, she had made it her mission to be there for Whisperwisp as much as possible. It is not her fault that Nettleflurry's son had died; she had seen the look in Whisperwisp's eyes when she first became acquainted with Crookedsnout as his soulmate. She had seen the love and adoration gleaming within them, the small smile playing upon her face and the happiness exuding from her form. And she had also seen Whisperwisp's eyes when her whole world was taken from her, too. She had seen the emptiness in them, the fog, and Nettleflurry understood that pain. And so, Nettleflurry makes sure to take care of Whisperwisp, even though she never has directly talked to her - she's afraid of that, afraid of the rejection. Because of this, she silently loves her from afar: she leaves her freshkill where she meditates, she makes sure that Whisperwisp's nest is always comfy and soft, she finds pretty rocks and feathers and drops them in convenient places for Whisperwisp to find for her offerings, plus several other little things, all to ensure that Whisperwisp is cared for. Though Whisperwisp's and Crookedsnout's mateship was short-lived, Nettleflurry sees Whisperwisp as a daughter, and hopes that one day that their relationship will bloom.
*Amarylliskit is open to heavy modification, including her name and appearance. This is just an outline of the plot. The plot is also open to modification and can be added on to, just msg me!♥
Amarylliskit was found by a couple MoonClan warriors while she was hunting (and failing - like c'mon she's a kit lol) on their territory. They took her back to camp, because even though she was only a kit, she was still hunting on their land. When she is brought to camp, and they are discussing what to do with her, Whisperwisp appears and announces that she will take full responsibility for the kit, and that she will take them in personally and teach them the ways of MoonClan and the Goddess Selene. Nobody knows why she decides to do this, for Whisperwisp rarely talks and never involves herself in clan affairs; she's only ever present during ceremonies, traditions, and anything that involves their religion. Whisperwisp becomes the adopted mother of Amarylliskit. My plan for them is that through Amarylliskit, Whisperwisp learns how to function properly again and how to love, and Amarylliskit becomes the beacon of hope for Whisperwisp and Nettleflurry (and also, this being the reason why Whisperwisp allows Nettleflurry into her life). I want Amarylliskit to grow up incredibly loved and cared for, but not without ridicule, for she isn't a MoonClan-born kit, and she's seen as an 'outsider' growing up. Probably will be bullied by the other MoonClan cats, but mama Whisperwisp and Nettleflurry will always be there to save the day.
