Penguinpond brushed away some fallen leaves from the boulder he was lounging on. With a bored sigh, he rested his head on his paws and glanced out across the empty territory. It was odd to think that somewhere out across the border in Winterclan, his kits were probably playing happily with their mother. Meanwhile, he sat alone in Dayclan, wishing the days would be warmer and cheerier. Everyone talked about winter blues, but they never expect it when it comes.
