Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Jetstar dropped down from the stump and looked to the trio of newly named apprentices. They had been well known for their mischief, which was why she'd made a point to put them all with cats she knew would do well by them.
She went up to Coralpaw. "I look forward to training you," She told her new apprentice bending to touch noses with her. She hoped that by keeping a close eye on Coralpaw she could help mold the she cat. IT was obvious she was good at rallying cats to her cause, and Jetstar wanted to help foster her strengths. Coralpaw's mouth dropped open as Jetstar announced the new mentor assignments, her own included. "You've got to be kidding me," she muttered under her breath. Most other kits--apprentices, she reminded herself--would be begging for a chance to train under the leader of their Clan, to show the most important figure in their lives that they were starting to grow up. But Coralpaw was Coralpaw, and it was written in her DNA that she push back against anyone that tried to claim that authority over her.
Her mouth moved as she and Jetstar touched noses. Not quite a smile, just the corner of her lips moving upward in a way that didn't reach her eyes. "Looking forward to it too," she whispered.
