Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. The harsh wind cut through his fur as the tom stood at the edge of the lake, the waves coming up just short of his paws as the surface of the water churned. It was freezing out, darkness quickly spreading across the sky, and but he could have sworn he saw the dark shape of a cat bobbing in the ways. Condorstrike crept forward and peered into the water, but he couldn't see anything else now. The cat might still be out there, though, drowning beneath the waves.
Condorstrike took a deep breath, then plunged into the icy waters.
