Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Plot Idea: Lostelm and Wispycloud attempt at a relationship, both find the other attractive and enjoy spending time together. But it's after some time, that they realize there is no love in their relationship and that truly they are nothing more than good friends or pseudo-siblings. Also helps that Lostelm figures out that he's BI and leans more towards toms than she-cats. While the idea of kits (or they could have kits and then call it quiets). Lostelm finds he's attracted to the hot heads, the impulsive ones, the ones who have fire in them that rival his calmness. Basically the opposite of himself. But hat he enjoys and loves the most is that he still has his best friend Wispycloud and now they can talk about cute toms together. Irony enough, Lostelm starts pointing these cats out just because, gossiping with Wispycloud over everyone like little apprentice age. What gets even better is when she starts blushing when a certain Aster is mentioned around her. So Lostelm decides he'll set the two of them up. How? He doesn't know yet, but he'll figure it out.
Lostelm had been apart of SummerClan for a while now. It'd become home and few cats in it his friends. More importantly, a certain she-cat had become his lover. The two seemed happy and in love. But honestly he wasn't sure what he was feeling. Maybe it was the lack of memories? Especially of ones with loved ones. Or maybe it was something else. He didn't really know. All he did know was that he was out for a stroll with Wispycloud, wondering past the sea and walking through the shifting sand.
Wipsycloud didn't quite get butterflies around Lostelm, but she found him extremely easy to speak to and, from there, the gossiping elders of SummerClan had their way: They were dating. She'd never been in a relationship before but knew that it was just a part of Clan life as was being a Warrior.
"So you really don't remember anything about life before SummerClan?," The mystery was very intriguing to Wispycloud, perhaps more so than the average cat, after all she had a whole family in WinterClan she'd never met, imagine not even knowing where to start? She cast her bright orange gaze toward the sea, a wistful expression on her face, "You know, sometimes I think about WinterClan and if I should have left when Windyhurricane and the rest of them did. I'm happy I didn't."
Her eyes back on Lostelm, she gave him a simple and honest smile, "SummerClan is one big family anyway. Blood isn't important."
Lostelm shook his head, eyes following the slow moving waves crashing into the shore line. "Nothing. Not my name, my home, my friends...family I may have had. It's just like I appeared one day, out of thin air and have just been here ever sense." With a sad smile he, turned to her, his paws stopping in their tracks. "Yea? I'm glad too." It was soft, his gaze, and he let out a soft pur at the thought of her having stayed. She didn't say why, but part of him thinks it was for him. They had already been friends by then, and had only just started dating when her family had left. "Do you...do you wish you knew more of them? Your family that is? Didn't you say there were more than just those that left to WinterClan? It was part of why they left, right?" He was curious, not having any memories made it to where he didn't really understand clan life, let alone what having a family was like. Lostelm couldn't really miss something he didn't have....right? But maybe...maybe you could long for that feeling. Or miss what could have been? Or who you were in a different life?
(Wispy is very young and has a career she is prioritizing - she wants to be Red Guard - so she wouldn't want kits right away. But! I'm not opposed! Let's see how their relationship goes :3)
Wispycloud was caught a little off guard by the barrage of questions. It wasn't like she had a problem answering any one of them, but it was a lot to ask all at once. It was part of what made Lostelm so cute, though, that dangerous curiosity of his. After a brief pause to collect her thoughts, she replied, "My father was a pureblood WinterClan cat. I guess he's from one of their oldest families. His parents had numerous litters of kits - like I'm talking more than five litters - so needless to say there's a lot of them that I won't know and will never meet. And not all of them live in WinterClan anymore... it makes my head spin some times, haha."
The gray she-cat cast her gaze out at the sea for a moment, taking in the salty ocean scents, and closed her eyes, "I suppose I went off on a bit of a tangent. Of course I'd like to know more about them, but it's not exactly my priority. SummerClan is my home. The cats here are my family. Everything else is just... extra?"
(oh I'm always down for kits. what if she's their surrogate later on? kind of a last hurrah but testament to their friendship and previous relationship?) Jadie
Lostelm blinked in surprise, his eyes widening. He couldn't imagine a family that large, more anything more than a few cats, a single litter with parents and maybe aunts and uncles and grandparents. It was strange to think of one more than five litters large. It was practically a whole clan itself! With a smile though he thought about that. "A clan is like a family right? Or at least the size of one. So you didn't completely lose them. And who knows, maybe we'll run into them at the next gathering?"
"Unlikely. WinterClan cats are the secretive type, I can't remember the last time I saw one at a Gathering. Plus it depends on just how serious Ratstar is about keep the borders closed," Wispycloud replied, her voice as blunt and unforgiving as the expression on her face. She respected borders and knew their purpose, but, when most of your family was on the other side, it was that much harder to justify them being quite so strict.
After a few seconds passed to realized that she had had a tone and quickly smoothed out her expression, shooting Lostelm a look of apology, "Sorry, that was a bit harsh of me. I love SummerClan and chose to be here, just like they chose to stay in WinterClan."
