Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
strawberrycupidstardance (This is the rp where Soullesspaw gets defensive and would attack Heavenlykit, but Soullesspaw is thrown in prison for it immediately after. So we don't need Heavenlykit in the rp for too long. I'm pretty sure I mentioned this rp to you Berry, but I also feel that was like months ago so I'm not entirely sure. Either way up to you, just let me know if you're not interested, I don't want to push you in a corner or anything!)
"Heavenlykit, you need to have more authority, look at your big sister Soullesspaw, she's very strong, she's a powerful demon. If you don't starting teaching Soullesspaw her place then she's going to get in all sorts of trouble. How bad are you going to feel if because you didn't discipline her now Wintrystar is. I didn't discipline Nobodykit enough and because of that Wintrystar banished him into the cold for a whole week. He almost died because I wasn't being the mom he needed, I was too afraid to give him the beatings he needed. But now I know better, so don't make the same mistakes I did. Now, I want you to show me what a good beating looks like, don't be afraid to strike her."
These were a mothers words of encouragement, Dottymask's specifically. Maybe it would be one thing if she never referred to the demons as her children or didn't consider them a part of her family. But it was a whole other level of demented thinking when she referred to Soullesspaw as Heavenlykit's big sister, yet still demanded Heavenlykit to beat her like the demon she was. To Dottymask being cruel to her demons was the gentlest kindness she could offer to them compared to what she feared others in the clan would do to them. It was the kind of thinking she wanted Heavenlykit to have too.
As she stood before her 'mother' and sister, Soullesspaw was already a mess. Gashes ran up and down the length of her body from Howlingnight's beating just a few days before. He caught her and Sinfulpaw sharing a rabbit, and fawning over some stolen gemstones. Well, more than some. A lot. She had no doubt in her mind that the escapade was at least partially responsible for what was going to happen today. She had always been rebellious, but she had never committed a crime against her Clan.
As much as she despised the rest of her adopted family, Soullesspaw had a soft spot for Heavenlykit since the storm before Blazingbluejay's exorcism. Heavenlykit took one of Rosemarykit's strikes for her. While the kitten's blow wouldn't have hurt Soullesspaw, Heavenlykit's gesture was one of a kind and worthy of true respect.
To hopefully ease Heavenlykit's abhorrence for her command, the massive she-cat leaned over and licked Heavenlykit on her forehead. "It's okay. See where all my cuts are? Just hit me there. I don't mind." She cast a quick glare at Dottymask before returning her soft, almost motherly gaze to Heavenlykit.

(i don't tbh. but i'm down)
Heavenlykit... lived up to her name. Unfortunately. Maybe too good for the world. She never had the childlike curiosity that resulted in ants being squished or tearing things apart to see what was in them. It just wasn't in her nature. Heavenlykit hated conflict and hated blood more. Soullesspaw was already hurt, she could barely look at her. But she didn't want Soullesspaw to get into any more trouble.
Heavenlykit rubbed her paws on the ground, a sort of habit pushed into her to keep her from pulling at her fur. It only took her a few seconds though to reach over and pull just a little from her legs. She had been given both Soullesspaw and Sinfulpaw, the two still running amock. Heavenlykit didn't want this to be her job. She wished they were Witheringkit's or Fluffykit's, maybe even Rosemarykit's. Cause she didn't know how to handle the stress that made her shake.
"But I don't want to hurt her. Why does it have to be my job?" Heavenlykit couldn't even look her mother in the eye, there wasn't a strong bone in her body. Just nervous energy that everyone could feel. Even Soullesspaw's comfort did little for her. "You're already hurt though. I think we should wait until--" Heavenlykit started, but then her gaze caught the gashes that riddled Soullesspaw's body. They weren't bleeding as much, but even the small bit of red she could see made her retch. And Heavenlykit's eyes went blank as a thin trail of saliva stuck to her chin.
Other than her siblings, this kitten of her deranged mother was the one cat Soullesspaw cared for. She knew Heavenlykit would not take this news well. It was of a punishment for the poor kitten than Soullesspaw. Her reptilian eyes looked softly down at the kitten as she lowered herself to Heavenlykit's level. "Please, I need to do this for me." She put her paw over Heavenlykit's. "Do you know what I've been doing? I've been stealing gems from the warlock and pupil for myself, so I could heal when I get injured." She paused and wiped the saliva from her chin. "If someone got hurt, I could have been the reason they died."
The last part was a flat-out lie, but she said with such sincerity that even Dottymask might have believed she regretted her actions. "Think about it like this. If you don't do this for me, Dottymask is going to beat me until you do. I don't care about that. She has crappy technique, almost as if she has been beating kits all her life." She paused again. "But she'll make me bleed more than you will. I know you don't want that. Then when you do end up beating me, then you'll get all sorts of icky blood all over your paws!" She gave Heavenlykit a shove. It was nothing too hard, yet. "Please. For me. Fight back."

Heavenlykit coughed, the last bit of spit clearing from her throat as she met Soullesspaw's eyes. "Sorry." She still muttered as the apprentice wiped away that bit of spittle. It was gross, it made her feel bad. Even weaker than before. Still, she listened. Eyes widening when Soullesspaw told her what she had been doing. It was the kind of blasphemy that would have gotten her hurt, but Heavenlykit could almost see why she did it. Though she wasn't fully convinced and lowered her head. Why couldn't she stop shaking?
But Heavenlykit didn't want Dottymask to beat Soullesspaw. And frankly, she didn't want to be treated like one of them. She didn't wanna be a demon. The thought alone made tears prick in her eyes as she was shoved. Heavenlykit only tumbled back a little, catching herself just barely. Okay... she thought. Somewhere she nodded to herself and approached Soullesspaw. But she couldn't look at her, meet her gaze, could only stare at the floor as she batted at her servant. But her claws were barely unsheathed, only serving to pull a few hairs out of Soullesspaw's leg.
Dottymask let out a tired sigh, but there her expression was optimistic as she walked over to Heavenlykit. Leaning down to her daughters level she spoke gently, "When you need to punish I want you to imagine your families lives are on the line. Strike deep and imagine the deeper you go, the more you're saving your family from that pain. Try again," She encouraged, standing up tall once more. However what Heavenlykit couldn't pick up on, but Soullesspaw could was the fear in Dottymask's eyes. She was optimistic, but not naive, Heavenlykit was failing, maybe if she was a part of any other family that could fly, but Silverfury would not be as gentle as she was. They didn't know what was at stake if Heavenlykit continued to fail, but she did, it was enough to bring fear to the surface of her expression.
She hardly felt the kitten's little claw rip out some fur. All the beatings had numbed her pain. It just felt boring to her. She stared at Heavenlykit, waiting for her to do more. And she just stopped. She could almost feel a growling rising in the back of her throat. How could she not want to put up a fight? She shook her head. "No, look at---" Then Dottymask stepped in.
Strike deep and imagine the deeper you go, the more you're saving your family from that pain. Was that the excuse Dottymask gave herself when she tore away at innocent kits? Did she think that it would absolve all of her sins? She flexed her claws into the cold earth below and stared at them. How did she learn how to strike deep? She was torn into countless times over at the paws of her family, the ones who should protect her. She swallowed hard. Was she really considering striking one of the few good cats in this Clan? She shuddered and knelt down to Heavenlykit. She whispered in her ear. "No matter what everyone does and says to you, don't forget who you are. I'm sorry about this. I really am." She pulled away and let the words hang in the air.
She alone could save Heavenlykit from the fear in Dottymask's eyes. She could be the mother Heavenlykit needed. Unfortunately for both of them, she learned from Dottymask. She unsheathed her claws and inhaled. Then she struck. Her sharpened claws raked across Heavenlykit's face and sent her sprawling as bloody sprayed onto the snowy ground below. In a moment Soullesspaw was back on top of her and threw her into the cave wall with a powerful scruff throw. Her reptilian eyes narrowed on the kitten. Maybe now she would fight back.

While she could feel the tension in the air, Heavenlykit felt like it all piled on her. That her not striking Soullesspaw was the cause and not something deeper, even more terrifying. She knew she was no good at this. Hesitation covered her. How was she supposed to do this?
"When you need to punish I want you to imagine your family's lives are on the line." That only made her hiccup in the midst of her breakdown. No. She couldn't. Her resolve crumbled like a sandcastle wiped out by the tide. Heavenlykit's mind swirled with questions that had no answers, not ones she understood. She was stuck in her own mental whirlpool when Soullesspaw approached her again.
"I-" The kit started, but choked on her words as Soullesspaw talked to her. Sorry. About what? Then she learned what striking deep meant. All at once, her sight reddened and Heavenlykit let out a squeal in surprise. Her... face. Her face hurt. Why? Why her face? The only thing she had going for her, now marred as well. Blood streamed down her face, went into her nose as she breathed and mouth as she screamed nonsense. Her panic only sucked her further down, far below the surface.
Then she felt a weight on her, and the next thing she realized, she was on the ground somewhere. Pain radiated down from her back where she hit the wall. Heavenlykit couldn't breathe. Her whole body felt like it was trembling but going numb at the same time. The only thing the throw quieted was her voice, she could barely make a sound. Only gasping for air and squirming on the ground as the walls closed in on her.
"Soullesspaw," Dottymask warned watching them whisper, but her breath hitched watching as Soullesspaw struck down her own sister, "Soullesspaw!" Her breath never came back as this time she practically screamed out all the breath she had left, "SOULLESSPAW STOP!" She practically screeched rushing over to the two girls just as Heavenlykit fell for the last time. For once Dottymask didn't have a sick look in her eyes for destruction or a harsh tone, her voice was full of fear and there was a frantic nature about her as she stood over Heavenlykit, her paw pressed against the wound before looking over to Soullesspaw with a teary eyed look, "I don't want to LOSE YOU!" She hissed at Soullesspaw. She hissed as she tried her best to smudge the blood away from Heavenlykit's sweet face, but it kept coming before desperately staring at Soullesspaw shaking her head with a mix of grief and anger. "I'm going to have to take her to the witch's den now. How could you..." She didn't finish her sentence, how could she be so reckless as to hit Heavenlykit? Why wouldn't Soullesspaw do what she saw her mother do a million times? Dottymask had failed her daughter and she knew it. "They're going to send you away from me Soullesspaw. They're-" The madness caved in around her eyes as tears pooled out remembering what Wintrystar did to Quiveringpaw.
"I failed you," Dottymask whispered, whipping at her face as she still tried to press down on her daughters wounds, "Soullesspaw I-"
Howlingnight was already in the den after hearing Dottymask scream. He expected it to be her again that was injured, but was surprised to see Heavenlykit bleeding from the head and Soullesspaw with her paws bloody. "Huh," was all he said before wordlessly approaching Soullesspaw. He didn't grab for her instead watching to see if she would come with him willingly.
Soullesspaw blocked out everything her mother said to her. Dottymask never had her best interest in mind, and this was something she had to do. She had to be the mother that Heavenlykit needed. She agreed with Dottymask. Heavenlykit was too soft to survive in WinterClan, but Dottymask lacked the drive to make Heavenlykit understand what she needed to be. Soullesspaw felt pangs of guilt for what she did to the kit, but it had to be done. "I'm just doing what you are to scared to do! This place isn't good for her! You know that! Either she changes or she leaves. I'm making sure that she can survive." Then things began to boil over, and she was completely oblivious to Howlingnight's arrival. "I hate you, but you made sure that I survived! You told me to hide all that stuff, and I did. You told me to make friends out of this place, and I did. You've shown me everything that is wrong about this place. And I thank you for that. But you are a terrible mother. You should have protected me. You should have protected us. And now you're trying to make the only good thing in this Clan bad. I had to hurt her so that you would actually care for her." She hissed. "You're disgusting. Hell, your entirely family's blood is poison."
Then she turned around to face Howlingnight. Her eyes blazed with the fire they strived to put out. Berating Dottymask felt liberating, and she was just getting started. Her lip curled up and she stared him down. "And you and your filthy, demon mate. She's worse than anyone else here. She is the only cat here worse than my excuse for a mother. Everything about her is just awful. She enjoys seeing cats suffer. And then there's this fox-dung pureblood stuff. If it wasn't for outsiders repopulating this place, everyone would have died off. And you treat them like trash. She picks on the weak to empower the strong. Gee, that sounds like a coward to me, and you willing follow her." She didn't expect Howlingnight to care about any of this, but it felt good to get off her chest. "I can't believe someone as smart as you willing follows her. But you're no better. You're just as cruel, and you spread it. Agonywail wasn't a bad tom. He wasn't mean to us. And then he started training with you, and he just couldn't help himself from hurting us." She took a few steps closer to him, and for the first time met his gaze without a hint of fear or rebellion. The only thing gleaming in her eyes was a sense of freedom. This moment had been liberating beyond belief. "My mother should have destroyed this place, or at least destroyed Wintrystar. This place would be much better without her."
"I'm just doing what you are to scared to do! This place isn't good for her! You know that! Either she changes or she leaves. I'm making sure that she can survive."
Dottymask's ears folded back, "That's not true. That's not true. That's not- No! She can make it," her words faltered the more she spoke until she lost all belief in what she was saying. By the end she already knew Soullesspaw was right, she wasn't doing what she had to do to ensure Heavenlykit would survive in WinterClan. Her ears flattened with every word her daughter spoke, because she knew she was right. She had given Soullesspaw so much more than she ever gave to Heavenlykit. She didn't know what being a good mother was, to her it always meant ensuring her kits would succeed no matter the cost. So in that sense, she was a horrible mother to Heavenlykit, she didn't beat her into submission, twist her heart to hate demons. Instead she coddled her because she loved her too much to repeat what she already knew she was capable of onto her.
Howlingnight stared her down with the same natural menace he always had. He never glared, his pelt didn't bristle, but the way his head turned towards her with that unblinking gaze, emotionless expression. There was a numbness to him that felt more monster than cat. Truthfully if it were up to him he wouldn't care, it seemed like every few moons Dottymask created some sort of drama, for once he'd rather leave her to deal with it. But he also knew Wintrystar wouldn't want him to leave Soullesspaw unscathed either. Before he could speak a word though Dottymask had already commanded the attention back to herself.
"I did you right Soullesspaw." Dottymask said to her at last. She was sitting down next to Heavenlykit, her paw soothingly stroking her kits fur as she wrapped around her, "You can hate me all you want, but I'd rather you hate me and survive than love me and die when you were kit from me filling your mind with hope in a merciless clan. You'll never miss being loved because you've never felt it! I couldn't give you the world, but I gave you what I could so you could survive in the horrible circumstance you were born into. That was all I had, but I gave it all to you and your siblings!" Dottymask said, tears streaming down her face.
"No! You're just lying again! You told me that we have real family in DayClan, but we could never go see them. We had to stay here and suffer. If you were a real mother, you would have risked everything to get us to them. But you didn't. You kept us around as punching bags. You made us your real kittens' slaves. There's nothing motherly about that. You're just an insufferable, lonely badger who wants to think that she is doing the right thing. But you aren't." She didn't think she was capable anymore, but she started crying herself. One of the few things she ever wanted was a real mother. Bluejay was more or less a stranger to her, Dottymask tricked herself into thinking her abuse was righteous, and Jiltedlinx never accepted that kind of responsibility. In the end, it was her plea for help. "We wanted a real mother, one who would console us if the day fell apart, one who would encourage us to stand up for ourselves, and one who would love us when all we felt was hate. You didn't have to do much. You just had to make us a safe space to be ourselves, to be kits, and to be free. You couldn't do that. How deprived of love are you that you couldn't care for orphaned kits!?"
She shook her head as her tears continued to flow faster and faster. "But I do know love. I love my brothers and sisters more than you can imagine. I love them with every part of my filthy, corrupted soul. I'd die for Sinfulpaw, and I still remember the night when Rottenpaw kept me warm when you buried me alive." Her eyes lowered to look tenderly on Heavenlykit. Words could not describe the remorse that filled her gaze as she looked down on the small bundle of fur." I love Heavenlykit as a mother should love a child. What I had to do is tearing me apart. That's the difference between us. I wish I never had to do that. But I can't do anything for her. I can't protect her without damning her to more ridicule. You have to do that. You have to protect her." She rushed forward and licked the top of Heavenlykit's head and cupped her paw around her chin, and then looked up to her foster mother's eyes. For the first time, she felt no fear staring into them. But she did feel pity. Her voice dropped into a whisper so that Howlingnight could not hear. "You have to hide her from Silverfury." With that she struck her mother across her face. "Be a damn mother for once!"
"You told me that we have real family in DayClan, but we could never go see them. We had to stay here and suffer. If you were a real mother, you would have risked everything to get us to them."
"That's not fair," Dottymask said, her voice wobbled as the tears just kept coming. She loved them with all her heart the moment they came into her arms, but it wasn't fair to say she hadn't done enough to save them. She had to care for nine kits at the top of a mountain peak. There was no way she could travel down with all nine of her kits, through the snow and all the way across the lands to DayClan. Not without being caught, not without one of them freezing, not without getting separated along the way, questioned by the clans they past. What would she do if a badger came out and attacked them? It would just be her with nine kits to protect and how would they survive if she died? She had went over those scenarios more time in her head than Soullesspaw or any of her kits would know.
Her heart was on fire, it burned her inside. To Soullesspaw her mother was becoming smaller, hunching over the more she went on. Dottymask had never, not even once called her demon kits adopted unless it was absolutely needed to the conversation. She always called them her kits or demon kits, but never once said that her own children she gave birth to were more her kit than the demon litter. Was that really how the demon litter felt, like they weren't her kits? She may have done a lot to them, but she always tried to keep them from feeling like they were adopted. She never once backed down to calling them her daughters and sons, she was never ashamed of having them as her children.
"How deprived of love are you that you couldn't care for orphaned kits!?"
Dottymask's eyes darkened from behind her dotted mask, more than you'll ever know and I'm sorry I couldn't do better. She wanted to hold Soullesspaw close, tell her how sorry she was for dismissing her so fast. Sinfulpaw and Soullesspaw were always a paw full, she was much harder on them than she was to the other girls. But clearly she had put her down too much seeing her breakdown in front of her. Her gaze warmed up seeing Soullesspaw rush back over to Heavenlykit, but it quickly faded upon feeling the scratch along her face. She let out a yowl of pain, but for once looked put in her place, her head lowering in shame rather than lashing back out at her. They both cared about Heavenlykit and after all was said she knew she deserved the punishing blow to her face. "I will..." Dottymask whispered back to Soullesspaw.
"Walk it off," Howlingnight said in a warning tone to Soullesspaw. Soullesspaw was his second favorite kit of the demon litter, he found promise in her training and liked that she didn't treat him as an authority figure. However when he felt uncertain if Soullesspaw was going to leave he made the decision for her, "C'mon let's get you out of here." He said pulling Soullesspaw away by the scruff before standing her upright again. His voice was kind, it always was, despite his features, his tone was always gentle, alluring even. He knew he was going to have to prep her for what was to come next, but wasn't entirely sure if Soullesspaw would do anything he wanted willingly. Although despite what he had to do he wasn't interested in cutting to the chase just yet.
I will... Soullesspaw relaxed. For what she had seen, Dottymask followed through. Whenever she promised to punish her or make her life hell, she did. When she said that they were worth nothing, she made sure that they knew it. Now one of her dearest children's life teetered on the edge of being shattered. Every part of Soullesspaw hoped that Dottymask would find a way to give Heavenlykit the life she deserved, one away from WinterClan's icy hell. She had to go as far away as she could so that Silverfury could never touch a hair on her beautiful pelt. "Thank you." She could hardly believe that those words left her lips. She had never once thanked anyone in this Clan, except for her siblings. No one was deserving of it. For the first time sense her kithood, her childhood ideals came into light once again. Maybe Dottymask had some good left in her. Maybe she could find a way to bring herself and her family back into the light.
The she-cat had completely forgotten about Howlingnight in the heat of the moment, so when his tug lifted her off her feet she hissed. As she scrambled back to her paws the defiant look that the Clan knew all too well returned to her. "Alright, so where do you wanna do this? Wanna beat me up in the middle of camp for some public humiliation, or do you wanna get outta here for a more intimate affair?" She gave him a cocky smile. "Personally, I'd prefer something more intimate. When you've been humiliated for your whole life, the public part doesn't really add much, you know? But... where would you be without tirelessly seeking your mate's approval? I dunno." This was going to be just another beating on another day. It would suck, but by tomorrow she'd back into her normal routine.
"Three things you should know about me," Howlingnight said leveling himself to her height, his cold eyes peering into her wrathful gaze, "One, I'll always do what is necessary, you'll never talk me down. Two you're my apprentice, I'll always look out for your best interest in my care," He said, the frost swirling past his jaws in a swirl of cold air, "And three, I can be a pretty well mannered guy if you're polite to me. So, to answer your question, neither of the above, leave the torture techniques to the professional." He huffed walking past her. "Go fetch some prey, eat it in front of me, all of it. Life's about to get a lot harder for you, so you might want to practice smiling cause I guarantee you'll forget by the time I'm done with you. Not something I'm particularly looking forward to, just a fact of what's going to happen," He said glancing away with an uneasy stare in the distance.
"Okay. I don't think I ever will talk you down. I never would suggest that, just like you should never suggest that you have my best interest in mind. Obviously, you're wrong there. And polite? Please. If you consider growls and hisses polite, then sure. I guess you are." What he said next sent a chill down her spine. Why would he tell her to get a piece of prey? She hadn't officially eaten anything other than the Clan's scraps for the past few moons, and now he offered her some in the middle of the day.
She shuffled her paws and nodded to him as he walked past. No matter what he had planned next, she wouldn't pass up a chance at a good meal. Soullesspaw hurried over to the fresh-kill pile and rummaged through it for a bit before finding a nice, plump rabbit, just like the one Jiltedlinx caught for her as a kit. She returned to Howlingnight and set the rabbit down in front of her. She waited for a moment to see if he would do anything, but then she just tore into the prey.
Howlingnight tipped his head up like he was thinking before flicking his head to the side as though the thought were the most obscene thing to him. Looking back down he saw that she was eating now. Settling down beside her he responded, "Name one time I ever hissed or growled at you. Never. I only do that at actual threats. If I ever did that to you then you can take that as a compliment. You've always just assumed that because I'm a brute to everyone else that I'll be rude to you, but I'm pretty certain I've never lashed out at you."
Soullesspaw stopped. Had he really never actually growled at her? Confusion spread across her face as she tried to think of a time that he lashed out. And she couldn't. She couldn't think of a single time. It had to have happened though. No tom held so much hatred and never let a growl slip. She scrunched her eyes and took another bite of the rabbit. Damn it. He was right. She swallowed and shook her head. "You haven't, but that doesn't mean anything. You're just as bad if not worse that Dottymask. Not growling at me doesn't mean a thing." She tossed the rabbit carcass to the side and looked back up at him. "It's like saying a badger isn't bad because a bear is worse. You're still a piece of hot bear dung."
Howlingnight stared at her for a long moment before getting up and retrieving her rabbit placing it in front of her, "I said to eat all of it. You can leave the tail and ears, but I expect most of it to be down to the bone." He fumbled with his paws slightly before pointing at the meat and in almost a nervous, if not wary tone said, "See, this organ, it tastes gross, but it will boost your muscles more and this one keeps you from getting hungry as fast. It's all good for you."
He was always rough with the demons, careless even, but it wasn't long ago that he found out that Wintrystar was pregnant with his kits. He had started to try and practice being polite, fatherly, but realized that he didn't have that instinct. He couldn't let Wintrystar know how bad he was at it so lately he had been trying to practice being a bit nicer, more helpful to the demons. Getting a kit to finish a meal was going to be a task he would have to deal with so maybe if he could convince Soullesspaw to peacefully he would be bettering himself. Even if ultimately she was a demon and the road ahead for Soullesspaw would be merciless and brutal.
Howlingnight scratched at his leg before tearing off a piece, "I can help you finish the rest of the meal, but you need to eat too."
She stared at the rabbit as he tossed it back to her, and she just glared at him for second. She was starving. All the time. And she still never ate those parts of the rabbit. They just tasted horrible, it was like eating punishment. Maybe that was the point, eating something horrible. Maybe it would be something like Rottenpaw's punishment. She could handle eating rotten food any day of the week. "Fine, I'll just finish it up. I don't want your help."
She looked back down to her rabbit and started with each of the limbs. Its tiny bones crunched in her jaws as she chewed up and down the length. Soullesspaw had never been so thorough with a meal, and it didn't help that Howlingnight was watching every bite she took. After a while she finally arrived to the organ he pointed to. With a sigh she went in and ripped it out in one bite. And it tasted awful. Her face contorted as she did her best to chew and swallow it. After she finished, Soullesspaw shoveled some snow into her mouth, which eased the taste a little bit. "Why are you making me do this? I've done worse and I've ever gotten was a beating."
