Scarletblush
DayClan Warrior
The Lady
It had been several days since the events of the Fire Nation battle, with no news of Scarletblush. She hadn't been seen in SunClan, nor had she appeared in any of the clans of the Fire nation, leaving many to wonder if she had perished in the inferno or been killed on her journey to get Jetfire and her kits to safety.
She knew her mother had seen her leaving, having caught her gaze at the last moment before entering the tunnels to escape. She had seen the pride in her gaze, even if had only been for a moment. Scarletblush had spent some time in SwiftClan making sure that Jetfire and the kits were ok and tending to her own blistered feet from the hot stone before setting out to rejoin the rest of her family. Jetfire was free now, and with Ghostcrown at her side she hoped that perhaps she would finally find some happiness.
Scarletblush paused at the border that marked DayClan's territory, a smile slowly spreading across her face. It had been far to long since she had been with her family.
Autumngossamer had just carried back a bundle of herbs for DayClan. Thanks to her time in SunClan as a janus she could identify herbs and bring them back to DayClan for the healers to use. Luckily most DayClan cats were left completely unharmed, but it came as no surprise. DayClan cats were peaceful by nature, they spent their time helping evacuate SunClan's vulnerable members than actually fighting. Even when they did fight it was largely to defend their comrades, not the ones initiating. This was exactly why it was easy for SunClan to take advantage of them for so many years. They were too polite, never ones to strike first.
Walking towards where she was certain she saw some laurel leaf, which would be perfect for binding herbs in place. However she stopped short upon seeing her daughter. "Everything alright my darling?" She never had any doubt that Scarletblush had made it out alright. After all Firetooth was her best friend, if anything bad had happened he would have told her.
