Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
OAKSHADE'S CORPSE Oakshade wasn't purring or growling, he was deathly silent, it was so, so unlike him. It didn't matter what Tinymutiny said or did: He did not react in any way other than lashing about at whatever was closest to him, which was still Fillypaw.
BLOODYSTAR The red-furred High Priest burst through the undergrowth and charged Tranquilpaw. He looked quite the mess, one of his front paws was badly burned and half of his whiskers had been singed off, but if he was pain he didn't show it as he knocked his adopted daughter off his adopted son. He could pick up the scent of death clinging to her fur, something was wrong, but he was still gentle enough with his blow as to not cause her serious harm.
"Dad."
He looked down at Perfectpaw. The apprentice was covered in claw marks with a particularly nasty one right across the center of his face. The poor kid looked absolutely shaken to his core, but Bloodystar felt... nothing, really. Some pity. But his heart didn't hurt the same way it would have should this have happened a few days ago, something had changed. He helped Perfectpaw to his feet and instead of offering support he barked an order, "What's the situation?"
"I-I I don't know. We though Tranquilpaw died, but then she came back... and then more cats, even Oakshade... The dead are walking again, but they are acting rabid."
Bloodystar narrowed his eyes. What a crazy story, but it seemed to match up with what he was seeing, "Cats of SunClan!" He called out, loud enough for all to hear, "If you cannot restrain them, then break their necks. Dead or alive they should not be able to move if their spinal column is disconnected!"
"Life, then." She let out a sigh, already tired by her immediate declaration. Even if it was of no thought, an answer that she didn't need to think about. The idea of picking herself up again felt painful, tiresome. The declaration to break their necks only made things worse. But Sunnysmiles pulled herself to her feet, wincing in pain as pandemonium stretched around them. "Can you help me get to Bloodystar, Nightfury? We're stuck here, so we may at least keep him from hurting anyone. I can do all the talking."
TRANQUILPAW Even as Bloodystar talked, Tranquilpaw was already on the move to take him down. Stalking forward, then breaking into a run like the hard hit had done no damage, drool escaping her lips. She was headed straight for his throat Jadie

**~~~Important~~~***
Tranquilpaw's jaws latched onto Bloodystar's throat, digging in a ripping through flesh as a fountain of blood sprayed across her body. Her claws dragging down his chest leaving deep gashes. The body in her jaws was going limp, but just before it seemed like Bloodystar would be joining the ranks of the undead, a light began to peak on the horizon causing his daughter's corpse to his and fall backwards. Ear splitting screeches filling the air as the corpses collapsed to the earth motionless.
Bloodystar shuddered as his adoptive daughter took hold of his throat and instinctively tried to back away, not that it helped the situation in the slightest. Eventually he regained his senses and slammed his paw into her side only to find that there was no resistance at all to the blow. She slumped to the ground like the corpse she was and quit moving. Bloodystar stood there panting, his blood spilling out all over his paws and on Tranquilpaw's corpse. His legs wanted to buckle but somehow he managed to stay standing.
"Gather the wounded and... bring them... into the main camp," The High Priest said huskily, the only way the Clan heard him was because he amplified his voice with the amulet, "Leave the dead... where they lie... for now."

As Oakshad crumpled from under her and ceased to move, Tinymutiny began to wail "OAKSHADE" she licked behind his ears nuzzling against his neck "OAKSHADE?!?!?" her licks becoming more and more frantic "Oakshade can you hear me? OAKSHADE?" her eyes widening in horror as she released her grip, pressing her ear to his side to listen for his heart "OAKSHADE NO" her frantic screams filling the silence that had fallen over MoonClan's camp "Someone help, he isn't breathing" she pleaded, tears streaming from her eyes paws pushing to try and roll him over "OAKSHADE" NovaPhantom

Snakepaw watched with wide eyes as his father suddenly fell. His heart was racing, beating so fast that he was sure that cats in Winterclan could hear it pounding away in his chest. The world around him fell silent as his eyes latched onto Oakshade's corpse as it fell still. The grey tabby was only focused on his father, his mind replaying what had happened over and over again. His father had died, and then he had suddenly returned to life attacking him and his siblings as if he hadn't recognized him. Snakepaw flinched as his mother's shrill shrieks suddenly pierced his ears. The small tom had crouched down, his ears pinned to his head so tightly they started to ache as he gazed up at his mother. "M-mom..." He whispered. Snakepaw inched forwards, closer and closer to his mother as he looked up at her. "M-mom... m-mom, dad... dad is gone... he's d..dea... he's dead..." racer
Valleypaw stood next to Snakepaw, her eyes overflowing with tears although she herself didn't make so much of a sound. She'd managed to avoid the worst of the fighting save for a few scratches here and there. She'd do anything to avoid what she knew was going on with her mother, anyway, but not she had nothing but time and had to face it. Except, when she opened her mouth to say something, nothing escaped except for a muted moan. She put her paw to her face and began to wipe away the tears instead. Valleypaw couldn't do anything.
