Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
For a feline who sought nothing more than to dispel the curse from his name, and for all those who came after him that would bear it as well, Crowpaw found himself at the Cursed Rock fairly often. Few of his clanmates dared come here-- cowards, he'd call them, speaking aloud to no one in particular-- which made it the perfect place for the loner, somewhere he could sun himself in peace. There would be none of that today, though; grim clouds coalesced on the horizon and quickly blotted out the sun before it could reach its peak, threatening rain and howling winds.
He grimaced but did not leave his perch. The heavens themselves would have to come down and smite him before he sought refuge back at camp.
"Hey bonehead!" Angelicpaw called to Crowpaw suddenly, but bonehead may have been an upgrade of a nickname for the tom, "Our clans struggling to survive given our absurd population so go make yourself useful like I am and hunt something. Or maybe I should tell my daddy that you're too useless to ever be a warrior and you can just stay a paw forever," She smirked.
Angelicpaw was the daughter of Bloodystar and since he never mentioned that she was adopted most believed her to be the blood daughter of his. She had his golden fur after all along with a stunning pair of Tiffany blue eyes. Her good looks didn't match a good personality though, she was tattle-tale, a snitch. Anything she knew anyone could rightfully assume that Bloodystar knew it as well.
The relative silence was shattered by a snide cry, which brought a dark grimace to his features. Crowpaw turned to regard Angelicpaw and, for a moment, during which his tail lashed behind him furiously, considered how nice it would be to smack that dumb smirk right off her face. It wouldn't be out of character, after all; memories of slashing Honeysplash's nose and attempting to attack Weed flooded back, but they were dispelled as if exhaled alongside a heated breath. "And where would you suppose I do that, idiot?" He spat the insult at her. "All the prey is seeking shelter now before the rain starts."
He was aware of Angelicpaw's relationship with Bloodystar, something that did not help his opinion of her, but until now he'd been able to avoid an encounter with SunClan'a golden child. What he did not, however, connect was that Angelicpaw had another relationship in the clan-- as Nightmarepaw's sister. Maybe he would like have selected his words more carefully had those puzzle pieces fell in place, but it was too late for that.
Angelicpaw stormed towards him like a golden flame speeding right in his direction. Her paw struck him hard across the cheek, what should have been just a slap was an outright attack. Her paw slammed into the side of Crowpaw's face, latching onto his cheek with her claws and drove his head into the dirt, "Is that anyway to speak to a lady? Let's try this again, this time Angelicpaw isn't good enough, you're going to call me majesty with a smile on your face, got it? Now how about asking for some mercy from your majesty," She said, a slow smirk descending across her perfect features.
(I forgot, am I crippling a back leg or injuring it. I feel it had something to do with a leg xD)
