Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Faithpaw lifted her head up from her sleep slowly remembering she wasn't in SunClan. Her memories began fading back into the foreground of her mind. Last she remembered SunClan had been surrounded by more clans than she'd ever even knew existed, but they were safe in camp. Then Bloodystar sent cats he deemed as troublesome into the front lines, like he was hoping they would die. Was that what he was really trying to accomplish? She raked her mind for more information. She had gone after the front line patrol to try and save them, but instead ran into Flamingstar.
Sitting up straight she traced her paw over her shoulders and winced feeling the shooting pain of where Flamingstar's claws had been. The NightClan leader had looked intent on killing her, but almost last second had decided to order Umbrahound to drag her back to camp. Umbrahound had told her it meant Flamingstar saw her as a valuable asset, but she didn't know why she would be of any worth to the leader. Suddenly she realized there was another cat in her presence facing the open mouth of the cavern, it must be the way out. He looked to be an older apprentice compared to herself.
"Um. Excuse me?" Faithpaw asked as she approached him, "I know it's late, but do you know when my parents are going to come get me? My name is Faithpaw."
Faithpaw had summery calico colored patterns spreading thick and dramatic along her coat with a white chest and chin, but it was her blue as sky eyes that really stuck out. They stood out like glittery treasures on an ocean floor. In this case they didn't pierce, but rather shined through the darkness like they were starlight.

Guard duty! Greypaw thought dismally. When the war patrol was being chosen he eagerly awaited his name to be called among the members. He wanted so bad to try out for real the battle moves he had been learning from his mentor, Ratnest. This would have been the perfect opportunity to do so. As he sat to the only entrance or exit to the prison cave, he let his mind wander to what might have been.
Enemy cats surrounded him on all sides. You think you can take me? he yowled defiantly. Well come and try! With a self assured laugh on his lips, he leaped at the first SunClan cat, an evil looking battle hardened cat. With a daring lunge, he darted in and with a single blow to the head, the cat was knocked out. He spun around to engage with his next opponent only to find the cat flying in the air toward him. With a quick spin move, Greypaw turned away just as the enemy cat flew past him. In an instant, he was on the cat's back and biting down hard on his neck. "Ow! Ow! Ow!" the enemy cat yowled in pain. "Please let me go!" Feeling generous, the courageous NightClan apprentice got off his back to let him up. Get going! Run back to your nest in the nursery! he growled as he gave the cat a swat on his rump. The enemy fled away from him in terror. He felt adrenaline rushing through him as he turned to face the next enemy cat.
"Um. Excuse me?"
He was surprised to hear a real voice in his daydream. He was so caught up in his fantasy that it took him a moment to register where he was and what he was doing. A young she cat was asking him a question. What was it now? Something about parents coming for her? The overwhelming scent of SunClan wafted to his nose and he wrinkled it in disgust. "Come for you?!" he asked with an air of authority that he really didn't have. "If they came here, they'd only be locked up in this prison with you."
Her paw traced along the edges of her ears. "Right." Her voice could be felt more than heard. There was a soft effort to keep her tone above the helplessness she felt. She took a breath rubbing her paw along her eyes with a tearful expression. Her home had been attacked by three different clans. What else could she think other than that her family could be presumably dead? "I think Flamingstar wants me to be a NightClan apprentice from now on." She said suddenly. Despite changing the subject her far away expression was undeniably full of sorrow. What if SunClan was forced disband? What if... The leadership was executed. Bigger, darker thoughts entered her mind, the unknown killing her. She probably really was clanless. This wasn't a normal war, this was three clans against one, maybe it really was a mercy for Flamingstar to have taken her out of it by force.

Now that he was closer to the young prisoner, Greypaw realized she was about his own age, maybe younger. There was something in her voice that struck a nerve in his heart. What was it? Sorrow? Hopelessness? Whatever it was, it changed the way he thought about her even if it was only just a little.
"Uh, I don't know what our leader wants to do with you," Greypaw meowed uncertainly. "Lots of times our prisoners are assigned to work for a den or sometimes for a specific warrior but ..." His voice trailed off. "But that's for cats who come here from other places looking to join us. I'm not sure what's done with cats from other clans who are captured in battle. Um, what did you say was your name again? Fatepaw?"

"Faithpaw," She said a bit more annoyed this time. However the more she looked at him the more she realized that she could take him on. He was an apprentice, older for sure, but it was late so he was probably tired. Mean while she had been asleep the whole time, she was well rested. If she was strong enough to to make a league hunter cry in battle then what couldn't she do?
"You know you're awfully cute looking, especially that cute little spot on your paw," She said, knowing full well that there wasn't one there. However she used the moment in the hopes that he would look down. Being young, as well as inexperienced though she didn't wait for him to respond for long. Instead she quickly dove past Greypaw in attempt to race forward. Only when she took the first two steps to run did she realize she had no idea where she would be going in the pitch black darkness.

"Wha... HEY!" Greypaw yowled. Being young and naive, her words had struck a cord in his heart. Other than his own mother, no cat had ever called him cute. The feeling didn't last very long, however.
He gave chase and caught up with her just in front of the prison and blocked her from going any farther. "Thought you could escape from me by using nice words, huh? Well think again." He looked around to see if any cat had witnessed the attempted jail break. If word got back to Flamingstar that he had almost let a cat escape, well he'd rather not want to think about that. Good, no one's around. He let out a small sigh of relief.
All feelings of sympathy he had felt for her earlier vanished now in light of what she had done. "Get back inside, now!" he growled. "You want to get me killed?" He didn't really believe that would happen but it was possible. Most likely he'd be given the odious task of cleaning out the dirt place for a moon or something as equally as horrible. Maybe even postponing his warrior promotion.

Faithpaw steered to a stop as Greypaw cornered her away from the exit, her back arching slightly. However she could tell when she was beat, the apprentice was bigger than her. When her best shot was getting a head start there weren't really any plan b's. Her entire body lowered at his authoritative tone. The younger side of her instantly backing up by habit at a command. However his comment startled her back into reality, "No!" She cried out before realizing she needed to be more specific, "I don't want to get you killed," She said quickly. Suddenly it made sense though, he was a bit young to be guarding the prison, which meant he must be something like a janus. Someone chosen from birth to be specially trained to do more grown up jobs. Cats of those ranks were punished mercilessly for failing no matter the age, that must be what he was. "I'll stay inside, I promise, I don't want your clan mates to have to kill you," She said with such a genuine fright for him in her voice that he would be able to tell she fully believed NightClan would kill him for her misbehavior.

She really thinks I'll be executed if she escapes, the gray apprentice thought as he watched Faithpaw closely. "Actually that probably wouldn't happen," he meowed without thinking first. He could have used this to his advantage he thought after the words were already out of his mouth. With a small sigh he decided to continue. Being truthful was always the best course of action.
"Not unless Flamingstar was in a really bad mood. I'd most likely be put on some awful detail like cleaning the dirt place or something. Maybe even not get promoted on time." As he spoke, he noticed that Faithpaw wasn't bad looking. Not only that, she was down right pretty. He gave his head a little shake to clear it. He couldn't be having those kind of thoughts about a prisoner, especially a SunClan prisoner.
"What? It won't?" Faithpaw asked cautiously before realizing he tricked her. She grinning at the apprentice batting her paw at his shoulder, "Don't scare me like that! I felt so awful, I thought I was going to get your fur skinned," she laughed with relief before letting out a long resolved sigh. "Okay, I'll stay put this time, you're too fast for me and tricky," She said as she walked backwards towards where she had been sleeping before, "but I won't fall for that kind of lie a second time." She winked at him.
(I'm going to do a time skip of a week, but as always just let me know if you'd rather we focus on the previous time period rp or if you'd like the amount of time in the time skip to be altered!)
Since Faithpaw's arrival in the prison Flamingstar had allowed her to make herself useful around camp, but always locked back up by night. However lately there had been rampant rumors across camp that she would have a late apprentice ceremony to make her a full member.
"Yes ma'am, thank-you," Faithpaw said to Creampuff, dipping her head to the loyal guard. Everyday she was given a new list of chores to do around the camp, but today she had a bit more of a skip in her step. Turning around she looked for the one member of NightClan who she was on speaking terms with Greypaw. She couldn't say that she hadn't formed a bit of a crush on him. She liked his darker fur color and the air of authority that seemed to resonate off of him like an aura. But because of her background and current status in the clan she tried not to show her interest. In SunClan it would be embarrassing for an initiate to fawn on someone, she didn't want to humiliate him by being... Her.
Keeping her head and tail held high she walked over to the apprentice, "Greypaw, did you hear? There's talk that I might be made an official apprentice of NightClan. Although I'm kind of scared... But what do you think of that?" In her own head she missed her family, but she also didn't know what happened to them. No one would open up about what happened to SunClan, which told her that enough people died where no one could say for sure if anyone in her family lived. It wasn't like going home was an option NightClan would let her have anyways, but if it wasn't an option she was happy to at least have Greypaw.

(All's good )
His eyes widened and his ears pricked. Greypaw had hoped this would happen. All during the past week he had looked for the pretty SunClan apprentice as she preformed her various tasks. For some reason he seemed to be drawn to her. It frustrated him that they hardly had any time together other than to greet each other. He wanted to get to know her better than just a 'Hi, how are you?'. Ever since the warriors' return to camp from the battle, he hadn't been assigned to prison guard duty, so he never got to see her as much.
A broad grin spread across his face. "That would be great!" he meowed before he realized he should damper his enthusiasm. He felt the fur on his face grow warm. Then in a lower voice he asked, "When will you know for sure?" Inside he felt as if he would burst with excitement.
Faithpaw's ears pricked, inside the cavern she could hear Flamingstar calling for a clan meeting. Her shining blue eyes met with Greypaw's, her smile widening, "Maybe right now."
(Because Faithpaw's gotta go back to SunClan for the weekend plot this week I had to speed up the rp a little so we can jump into this thread where Flamingstar is promoting Faithpaw. Flamingstar is going to give Faithpaw permission to return to SunClan to fulfill the prophecy she was given. But Faithpaw didn't anticipate tonight was going to be her last night with Greypaw and then obviously Greypaw wouldn't have known she was going to leave. So this will be their last night together, until they meet again later, once that weekend plot wraps up! But if you got any questions/ concerns/ comments just message me and we can sort it out!)
