Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Family History: Lilacbane’s mother is Windchaser, an Immortal Council member and her father is Illuminatedpath. Windchaser and Illuminatedpath are considered legendary figures in DayClan. When the two were apprentices Windpaw and Illuminatedpaw got help from NightClan ending DayClan’s slavery in SunClan. When Lilacbane was an apprentice she met Snowcloak, the two enjoyed sparring and adventuring together.
Family Dynamic: Lilacbane comes from a proud DayClan family who believes in honor, dignity, and respect. Lilacbane is very uptight, not liking most outsiders despite her outsider mate, she is often hypocritical. As such Lilacbane expects her kits to follow the standard warrior code, not DayClan’s warrior code. She expects her kits to be a bit more territorial of DayClan’s land despite the open territory and demands them to practice hunting and fighting techniques even after training sessions are over. Lilacbane is a strict, but caring mother, however she will push her kits to the limit and is quite the tiger mom. However each kit has a bad habit of breaking one of the warrior codes
Family Expectations Follow the warrior code perfectly If you abandon DayClan you are abandoning your right as family
A member of this family must be a Peacekeeper or higher, those with higher class status are the leaders of the family
Playing it safe and following logic are overrated concepts to Cactusblossom. If her life isn’t a thrill seeking adventure then it’s not living. As a kit her and her mother loved to argue just for the fun of it, both enjoying being snarky to the other and coming up with excellent comebacks. With her father she is very much daddy's little girl, there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for her and in return Snowcloak is one of the only people she doesn’t talk back to. Cactusblossom craves respect and definitely has it within her family. She’s one of the best fighters in her litter and wields just enough chaos to be fun, but holds enough restraint to be valued as a loyal warrior of the clan. However sometimes her impulsive nature can lead her into a lick of trouble. Being just like her mother she often has affairs with outsiders, but to keep it a secret she has a fake mate in DayClan who covers for her. Cactusblossom has a flame point fur pattern resembling a mix from her mothers fiery fur and her father point fur pattern. She has baby blue eyes and freckles along her nose.
For Tumblemoon bravery comes from being afraid, but doing what you need to do anyways. His family speaks of honor, respect, and dignity, but to Tumblemoon he would do anything it takes to ensure DayClan’s safe even if it means breaking the code. DayClan is surrounded by monsters and cheaters from all sides of the borders. If they’re going to play dirty Tumblemoon isn’t afraid to make things messy. Tumblemoon’s a frail tom, but his mother never took pity on him, always treated him as an equal and because of this he carries the appearance of someone sickly, but the strength of a powerful warrior. Using his skills Tumblemoon will invade other territories for prey or even steal kits when they need more in the nursery. He’s very hypocritical like his mother is, feeling he is above the warrior code, that he has permission to break it when others don’t. To him power isn’t something you’re born with, he certainly wasn’t. But power is something you have to take for yourself because no one else is going to give it to you. Tumblemoon has a flame point fur pattern with glassy blue eyes, a perfect mixture between his mother’s bright red fur and his father’s point fur pattern.
When all is said and done Desertmarigold will have done more than she has said. She’s not a liar, not even to herself, when she wants to do something, no matter how impossible she will find a way to accomplish what needs to be done. Because of this she often has a problem with people who say “can’t” too much, she doesn’t like a quitter. She specifically avoids patrols with those who are too cowardly or those who speak instead of act. She’s not afraid to speak up either, she’s very blunt, not one to sugarcoat anything and always knows how to deeply bother someone cowardly to get them to leave her alone. Because of this Desertmarigold has an air about her that suggests she’s better than everyone. Much to everyone’s annoyance it’s hard to upstage her given her extreme training regimen and behaving well to those she deems worthy such as courageous and outspoken people. She has a fear of acknowledging her own flaws and will do anything to walk away from it. Especially when she’s caught eating prey during hunts, but to her it just makes sense so she’s not hungry while on the job. Desertmarigold is a near perfect copy of her grandmother Windchaser, but with her father’s longer fur. She has pale green eyes, a mixture between her father’s pale eyes and her mother’s green eyes.
The oddball of the family, his life started out difficult when his mother went into labor outside of camp. A nearby coyote was lured by the scent of blood and injured noises his mother made. His father managed to drive the coyote away by scratching out its eye, but not before taking him. Luckily a patrol rescued him before the coyote could devour him, but it had already bitten up his legs. He was named Coyote, a strong name meant to display his strength for surviving the attack. Growing up was difficult, he had spent the first six moons of his life unable to walk, by apprenticeship he was able to stand and wobble. However his determination to be a true warrior never wavered and his grandmother could see his will to hunt and fight. Thanks to Windchaser he began to learn to not just walk, but to run. There was much trial and error, but he never gave in. He was faster than everyone and only second to Windchaser, his grandmother. He never once felt sorry for himself, he embraces being different with his scarred up legs and would even joke about his misfortune. To Coyotechaser his worst fear would be being ordinary, he’s proud to be different and loves his flaws. Although he definitely gets on his mothers nerves as he often picks at his prey and doesn’t eat anything, he’s a very picky eater preferring only certain types of meat. Coyotechaser was given his warrior name to honor his grandmother for passing down her knowledge in running. Coyotechaser has a gray point fur pattern like his father, but with a much shorter coat with bright blue eyes and scarred up legs. He is identical to his sister Bunnyburrow.
There is no one in the world like Bunnyburrow, she could be slapped down eighty times and she’ll always get back up eighty times, never staying down waiting for it to be over. She’ll get back up for each slap in the face, an optimist with a smile. She was the first of her litter to try solid foods, but couldn’t stomach it. However she kept trying until the food settled in her stomach. She was the first to climb up to the highest perch in DayClan’s camp despite her parents' warnings. She wanted to try bigger and better things no matter how many scrapes and bruises she acquired. She begged to be made an apprentice at three moons old and by a whole moon of begging she was made an apprentice, allowed to do chores and sit in on training exercises when performed in camp. Bunnyburrow’s an opportunist and one who’s not afraid to love odd things. Bunnyburrow loves to scavenge with the other scavengers in DayClan, digging for two-leg food to eat, it’s all she ever wants. She also likes to collect two-leg treasures for her collection. Bunnyburrow has a gray point fur pattern like her father, but with a much shorter coat with dark blue eyes. She’s identical to her brother Coyotechaser.
