Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(cookie thread for Harewhisker and Jetclaw to interact)
"Fox dung!" Jetclaw hissed. The she cat stumbling after catching her hindpaw on a root. Muttering curses under her breath she limped over to a tree and laid down, rasping her tongue over the achy appendage.
The last thing she needed was another injury. She was only just starting to feel up to moving around again. It had taken a while in recovery at the paws of Primal Instincts Mage. Then fortune smiled upon her and dropped her into SpringClan.
She had been wandering around trying to get a good feel for the territory on her own. Few cats wanted to be around her, so she didn't bother asking for a guide. She'd muddle through on her own.
She never thought she'd miss the barren lands of SunClan so much more now. There was so much undergrowth and all of it too unfamiliar, she felt like she couldn't walk anywhere without tripping over something.
Harewhisker was hunting for the Clan by herself. She preferred it that way because there was no one around to slow her down. The massive she-cat pricked her ears as she heard an expletive sound from further away.
Who was out hunting or getting into trouble? The Trusted moved closer and then noticed the other she-cat. Harewhisker pulled herself through the rest of the foliage she had been passing through to get to the sound and cocked her head in curiosity.
Jetclaw looked up at the massive cat. Immediately bristling when the cat loomed over her, images of Mountain dragging out Littlestar and slaughtering Singedwolf flashing before her eyes.
Then the female voice registered, and Jetclaw blinked, the shadowy image of Mountain fading away to be replaced with a friendlier visage.
Jetclaw pulled a face glancing back at her aching hindleg. "Hopefully not, I got my paw caught on a root. I'm more used to open lands with a few sparse stones here and there to trip me up. Getting used to lands with more plant life is a bit of an adjustment."
She tilted her head, analyzing the other she-cat but saying nothing about it. "You should try to be more careful," replied Harewhisker. Jetclaw would get the hang of it. Jetclaw
Jetclaw huffed. "I'm aware." She said. "I'd prefer to have all four paws functioning after all." She said tail flicking behind her.
She placed her paw on the ground a few times, it ached a little but after a few minutes of moving it around the pain faded away and she could stand on it without issue.
"Well, since you're already here, are you already in the middle of something?" The tan and black she cat asked.
"Hunting," Jetclaw meowed. "I've been cooped up healing for far too long." She said shaking herself as she stepped on her paw a few more times to make sure she was able to stand on it. Nodding to herself when she felt satisfied her leg wasn't going to give out under her.
"Need to start contributing proper." The tan and black she cat said.
(idk how to make something interesting happen here, any ideas?)
The she-cat smiled. "Good attitude. I believe I respect you, Jetclaw." Harewhisker found that she didn't respect many, but her clanmate's desire to not stay down was admirable.
(we could timeskip, maybe have Harewhisker encounter Jetstar after she's returning from attacking Bloodystar and have Harewhisker muse over why Jetstar looks like she ran away from a fox or something)
Harewhisker scented something strange. She could smell a clanmate, but there was something off. Then came Jetstar. Her ears pricked forward in curiosity.
"Jetstar?" she asked, trying to catch the leader's attention.
