(Nova I figured it'd be a good idea for Jetclaw and Goldengriffon to bond a little before she learns she's going to be SpringClan leader. Set him up as being her deputy a bit)
Jetclaw's claws itched. She watched as SpringClan cats struggled to get organized with their deputy's absence and their leader struggling to recover.
Her ears pricked as she saw Softpelt emerge from the medicine den. Their eyes met, and Softpelt hastily looked away carrying her leaf bundle over to the nursery.
Jetclaw's eyes narrowed. An odd reaction but then again, most in SpringClan seemed to be avoiding the former SunClan cat who they'd rescued from the league. She dug her claws into the ground in frustration and pushed herself up tail lashing. Well sitting around and stewing would do her no good. She needed action.
She looked around to see if she could spot a cat willing to go hunting with her.

(hehehehe yeeessss)
Goldengriffon emerged from the warriors den, looking just a bit ruffled after waking up from a wonderful nap. His bright blue eyes were still hazy as he began blinked away the rest of his sleepy demeanor. He let out a long, silent yawn as he crawled forward on his front paws to give his body a good stretch. His tail waved high in the air lazily as he straightened up once more. His pale ginger coat glowed warmly in the afternoon sun after a bit of grooming. After picking out bits of moss from his fur, and deciding that his pelt was perfectly cleaned and proper, he began to head towards the fresh-kill pile. But the tabby stopped mid-stride when he caught sight of Jetclaw. He had heard rumors about the Sunclan warrior after she was brought here, nearly on the verge of death. She seemed to have made a good recovery, but there was a sort of darkness hanging about her. Goldengriffon, like many, did not know the full details of what was happening in the forest clan. Others were quick to believe the rumors, but not him. No, Goldengriffon needed to know the whole story from both parties. He liked to have a good view on things before making any sort of judgment. With a quick pivot, the Springclan warrior made his way over to Jetclaw. "Greetings." He said politely, dipping his head respectfully towards her as a show of good faith. "You're Jetclaw, correct? The warrior from Sunclan?"
Jetclaw turned her head when the tom approached her, ears pricking forwards. "Surprised you even need to ask," She said tail flicking about her, denoting how she was on her lonesome where some other cats sat clustered together. "But, yes, I am Jetclaw. Though until SunClan gets rid of Bloodycrow." She spat the name like venom. "They are my clan no longer." She said.

The golden tom flicked his ears as he listened to her words. So some of the rumors were true. Littlestar was no longer the High Priestess. Which means that either there truly was a coup d'etat within Sunclan. "Simply a matter of formality." Goldengriffon said, offering the she-cat a smile. "My name is Goldengriffon, a pleasure to finally make your acquaintance." He was very formal in how he spoke as he sat down near her, being sure to give her the space she seemed to enjoy. "I suppose then that solves one rumor that has been buzzing about the clans. Sunclan is in a bit of distress it seems."
"That's putting it lightly," Jetclaw said with a huff. "But I'm afraid if you want all the gory details I can't offer you much, they believe I'm dead. I imagine I'll have to work out how I can keep that assumption going when Thistlestar wakes up."
She'd have to take a new name, maybe start covering herself with mud or something to make her look less like herself. Or just avoid interacting with other clans period. Least till she found out how to get her vengeance.
"Anyways, it's nice to meet you Goldengriffon. Would you be willing to accompany me on some hunting? I've been sitting around too long and I need to do something or I'm going to go mad." She meowed, taking a moment to stretch and rise to her paws.

Goldengriffon lowered his head solemnly. The battle with the league had all but destroyed Springclan. Their deputy had ran off, and they’re beloved leader still laid in a coma. “Yes... well that is if Thistlestar wakes up. There is a slim chance.” He said with a soft shake of his head.
“But Fawnheart and Softpelt have been doing their best in their efforts to treat him.” The pale tabby wasn’t sure what else he should disclose to Jetclaw. After all, she was still from another clan and though she had denounced it Goldengriffon couldn’t be too sure that she wouldn’t return in the near future.
“But yes. A hunt sounds like an excellent idea. The perfect exercise after an afternoon nap.” He quickly rose to his paws and headed towards the camp exit. He paused and looked over his shoulder at her. “I’m sure you’ll find that prey is more easily found in Springclan territory then in Sunclan. Is it true that your territory for the most part is barren desert?” He questioned, his curious nature shining through. “Forgive me, if I am being to forward. You see, I’m quite interested in the history of the clans including their geographical features. Sunclan is perhaps the most interesting next to Winterclan.”
Jetclaw considered the question debating what to say before she shrugged, it wasn't as though she had to tell him actual geographic landmarks. She could keep it vague.
"Yes, it's true that a good portion of it is barren desert." Jetclaw said. "We used to have a lot more forest, then a fire ripped through and took out most of it."
"What are good places for hunting?" She asked as they slipped out the exit. "I'm still getting used to this place and all I've really been taught so far is where the borders are."

"Well," Goldengriffon said as he started leading the way, walking with a carefree attitude as his tail swayed behind him. "I suppose you wouldn't know how to fish so we can't go to the lake. But there's the glade and the forest. There's plenty of ground prey to be find there, with plenty of birds as well."
The pale tabby paused for a moment, his whiskers twitching as his blue eyes flitted about the territory. He remained still for a moment before taking a sharp turn, motioning with his tail for Jetclaw to follow him.
"Since this is your first time hunting in Springclan's territory, perhaps we should start easy. The forest may be more familiar to you, and may prove to be the better hunting ground. Though I assume the lay of the land is a bit different from the flat forests below compared to the ones nestled here in the mountains"
Jetclaw nodded. "You would be correct." She meowed, tail flicking behind her. Her blue eyes narrowed as she considered the area around them. Her ears pricked easily pricking up prey sounds all around them. The lush grasses were soft against her pads. Though she had gotten used to the hot climate of SunClan, she had to admit the soft grass and plentiful greenery was nice.
She glanced around. Her eyes lighting upon a bird pecking at the ground. She glanced at Goldengriffon seeming to say 'I've got this one,' before dropping into a crouch.
Unfortunately she was a little out of practice as the bird startled and let out a cry spreading it's wings to take flight. But Jetclaw leapt into motion, in a quick stride and then leap she smacked the bird down, and finished it with a bite to it's neck.
"Not clean, but it'll do." Jetclaw muttered crossly letting the fresh kill drop to the ground with a huff.

The moment Jetclaw had crouched down, the pale tabby instinctively hunkered low to the ground himself. His blue eyes become alert as his body seemingly froze. Not even whisker twitched as he watched the warrior creep towards the bird she had spotted. The warrior watched curiously. When the bird startled, the tabby had tensed in preparation to leap. But it seemed Jetclaw managed to hold her own like the capable warrior she seemed to be. The golden tom-cat slowly stood up as he padded over to her.
"Excellent job." Goldengriffon said with a quick purr. "Not bad for your first time hunting in a strange land. You'll get used to it. The prey up here are often lured into a false sense of security because of all the abundance. They almost never realize there are cats close by until it's too late."
