Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
How long had she been down here? With no sunlight is was impossible to tell, though he knew it had been a long time. The silence and seclusion was maddening, and she spent far more time asleep in the Temple Of The Sun than awake in the darkness. Her heart ached to see her children and her mate, but locked up here she was lucky to even see a guard. She had been doing research into something that she had heard was possible, but risky.... Dream walking....
She had been trading with the ancient Janus, getting clues and tips on how to make it work but it all came back the same... Do it wrong and your soul could be lost forever. This wasn't something that she did lightly and there was no guarantee that Skipstep was even asleep. But after moons of preparation, she finally felt confident in her ability to attempt it. She closed her eyes drifting off until she found herself before the eternal flame, but this time she didn't go through. Instead she went towards the astral plane, wondering and searching for her mate in the vast emptiness... but to her surprise there was a red line extending from her chest into the darkness. She followed it, trying to ignore the creatures she could hear moving around her and their threatening growls.
Finally she reached it, hovering like a fog was images of her mate. She reached out to touch it seeing a bright flash... When her vision cleared she was standing before Skipstep, his eyes wide with surprise. A grin spread over her face "Skipstep!"
Skipstep had been struggling with sleep for the past few weeks. After he'd initially dreamed of Goldenstar. He'd done his best to keep his ears pricked while he was kept prisoner. Trying to catch snippets of the guards conversations, and hear anything useful Mountainsound could provide him...
But the deep sorrow of missing his mate, along with the simple exhaustion of staying awake for too long forced him into sleep.
When he opened his eyes and found himself in SunClan's camp. But it was cold and empty, the warm rays of the sun gone, leaving behind a cloak of snow on the ground. The stone underneath his paws icy cold to the touch.
It was like the heart of SunClan's land had changed to reflect the true heart of SunClan now. Frozen over. The warmth of the sun gone replacing a chilled core. No warmth. Just cold.
A long harsh winter was upon SunClan and it was unclear if it would ever pass.
As he stood in the center of camp, a fog began to blanket the lands, obscuring it from his sight and for the briefest moment. He smelled her scent. He whipped around, lifting his head mouth open wide trying to detect any trace of her. His beloved Littlestar.
If the gods would only be so kind to return her to him-
Then a flash lit up the scenery the fog getting pushed back. Skipstep squinted against the light for a moment... then his eyes widened as he took in the form before him.
"Littlestar!" He cried, immediately surging forwards and rubbing against her. "Oh I've missed you so!" He cried.

Littlestar nuzzled up against her mate, closing her eyes and just taking in his warm scent as her tail curled around him. Despite the bleak landscape, she was just happy to see him "I was so worried about you..." she had seen glimpses of their children, but Bloodystar had refused to speak of her mate, his well being, or even what happened to him after her collapse
"Skipstep, this isn't just a dream. I found a way to get to you through your dreams, but it is dangerous" her tone a little more serious "I don't know how long I am going to be able to stay, or when I will be able to visit you again... I just had to know that you were ok, and to show you that I will be ok to" she burried her nose in his fur just wanting to linger there. It had been to long since she last felt his touch, his scent intoxicating.
