Magnoliawhimsy was a capable cat, strong and determined. It earned her an early naming ceremony and freedom she desperately needed. So what was she doing with her very first day as a full warrior? Spending it with her darling sister, Peachpaw. Her mentor hadn't minded a bit and now she found herself waiting just beside the camp entrance, waiting for darling Peachpaw to be made aware of the change of plans and meet her there.
It wasn't that long ago that Peachpaw had just been assigned a new mentor, but she had yet to actually train with him. She had half a mind to fake some sickness so she could spend the day in the safety of the cozy little den, but that excuse may end with her being takem to Chestnutpaw instead. She dragged herself out of the apprentice den, moving as slowly as possible to the camp entrance where she was supposed to meet with Littlelion. If anyone had bothered to tell her of the change of plans, she would have definitely gone through with her plan, even if it ended with her in the medicine cat's den.
The moment that her yellow-green eyes fell upon the form of her sister waiting for her instead of her mentor, there was a twist in her gut. Was it too late to run away? Maybe she could just hide underneath her nest. Maybe even go hide in the elder's den, since it was empty most of the time. There was just no way that Peachpaw would survive this encounter if she didn't escape.

"Peachpaw!" Magnoliawhimsy called, voice pleasant as sunshine, "I'm sure you were told I'd be training you today, I have lots of things planned." Her words and tone were warm honey but her eyes were glinting chips of ice, dead and dark. Only around her sister did she ever let her carefully constructed control to slip.
Oh, no. No, no, nope. Peachpaw was too slow to react, she had been spotted. "No," she said, her voice barely above a whisper as she slowly took a step back, nearly tripping over her own paws. The word was meant to deny the entire situation she had been landed in, but it also worked as an answer. That no, she hadn't been told that her sister was training her. A cold chill ran down her spine, her cream colored fur standing on edge as her legs trembled beneath her. "W-w-why?" Why was this happening to her? She was definitely going to be murdered today, wasn't she?
