Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

A tiny thud sounded from deep in the undergrowth of a tall pine. Then scratching sounds.
She dug her nails into the bark of the tree again and attempted to pull herself up again. The squirrel was taunting her. She knew it was. It was watching her, chattering at her swishing his bushy tail around in amusement. She glared up at him with her strange colored eyes. Her nails were just not long enough yet. She scrambled as far up as she could before she lost her grip again and tumbled to the ground below with another soft thud. She looked up again and the squirrel chattered and bounded away through the branches. A small whimper escaped her and her eyes watered a bit as her stomach growled in complaint. The little dark furred kit curled up under the shade of a large bush, sniffling. Why had they left her alone? What if she never ate again? She would die! "But I don't wanna die .." the little kit mewed softly as the years spilled over onto her silver tipped cheeks.
Honestpaw had been out on his own practicing his own hunting skills when he heard the pitiful remark from the lone she-kit.... although he hadn't spotted her yet. The silver tom looked around carefully, his green eyes scanned the undergrowth until he was finally able to make out the tiny kit.
"Who said anything about dying?" he asked, looking around for another cat. Maybe he had only heard part of a conversation. "There's no need to cry, you're not hurt are you?"

The lone kit sniffled and scrambled back deeper into the bush. "N-n-no. I... I'm hungry.." she wiped her paw over her nose and blinked her eyes, eyes that looked like a autumn forest...reds, golds, rusts, creams, even small streaks and splotches of pine green. Like seeing the forest from the sky. She gazed up at the big tom and sniffled again. "If ..if I don't eat... won't I die?" She asked.
