Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
racer Our plot for Mousepaw to have daily education on life in WinterClan. She'll be accept as a full member of the clan since she's pure WIC as soon as she sees the error of her ways in believing in the Sun God and thus different cats shall come in and educate her on how life in WIC works. So basically she's in prison and its someone's job to come and basically beat the Sun God out of her head until she accepts that he's worthless. Gonna add in a few cats as we go for different times if we wanna do time skips to different learning sessions. This round will consist of Emberbrand, Cleaver since he's claiming her as family, and Pineflurry to teach her the basics of WIC clan life
Pineflurry thought this whole thing was stupid, but wasn't going to voice it. For an apprentice, one that everyone believed to be crazy at that, to be claiming to eb related to a past leader was just absurd! Didn't she know better? I mean really? Claiming a dead leader as your grandfather? Oh well, Wintrystar had set up these training moments to better gage the truth the cat spoke of anyways. And who better to send to do the first session than a loyal WinterClan warrior and Emberbrand, another cat claiming blood ties to the dead leader.

Mousepaw
WinterClan Prisoner
The Frail
A loud sneeze filled the air of the prison, as Mousepaw sat on the cold stone. Despite having traveled across such a long distance, being met with a hostile welcoming, and thrown into prison, it seemed like the only this dampening her spirits was the cold she had caught. Her nose has crusted over, her eyes were irritated, but otherwise she seemed perfectly content. Actually she seemed to be practicing something, but it would be only upon closer inspection that some of the older cats would recognize the move as one of WinterClan's signatures, the drop throw.
Mousepaw struck out quickly at an imaginary enemy with her front paws, before leaping over and grabbing thin air between her teeth "Show me again grandpaw! I'll do better next time" of course she didn't realize that there were cats here for her lessons

(Thats so wierd....)

Pineflurry watched in disbelief as the apprentice spoke to no one. Great, he was stuck teaching the cat who was hallucinating. Just wonderful. Gods above, when would he catch a break. He could just see it next, getting one of the demonic brats as his apprentice after dealing with this brat. The tom cleared his throat, and called out to the cat. "Mousepaw, come over here."

(I love how no one has asked who her parents are XD)
Mousepaw looked up from her invisible opponent, shrugging and making her way over to where Pineflurry and Emberbrand had appeared "Good morn...shhooo" she sneezed, the force of it sending her backwards. Her tiny paws lifting to wipe the mucus from her nose "I woke up early to say my prayers and practice. Grandpaw Goldenstar was showing me the Drop Throw!" she squeaked with excited "He said it's a WinterClan move that all the warrior used to have to learn when he was leader" she looked really proud of herself, her long fur tangled from her morning work out looking rather messy and unkempt
(yeah if you didn't set the text color in the template then it defaults to the theme's color, so white for dark mode)
How pleasant. Couldn't his supposed relative be anyone other than she was? He would almost prefer Silverfury to this mess of an apprentice.
"You don't need to pray to the Life God," Emberbrand assured her calmly. "But I'm glad you've taken to waking early. We're here to train you in the ways of a WinterClan warrior."

"Life God?" she tilted her head to the side, rather confused. Why didn't he just say the Sun God? Sure he helped create life, but he was far more than that. He was the embodiment of the sun and everything that came with it both good and bad. As much good as he did for his chosen he could just as easily bring death and destruction to those that stood in his way. It seemed strange to call him a life god... But you know to each their own, as she moved on almost as quickly "Good!!!Grandpaw Goldenstar has been telling me all sorts of things about WinterClan and I want to know more!" she chirped cheerfully "My favorite is the stories about the white cats! They sound really scary, have you ever seen a white cat?" her eyes widened with curiosity as she babbled on "We had white cats back in WinterClan, but grandpaw said that these white cats are different"
"Well, if you're going to be praying you might as well be doing it right. Best to start with religion and work our way from there. Though, how in the world do you know about the Drop Throw?" Only WinterClan cats were taught that, and with narrowed eyes, Pineflurry started to question the she-cat. Anything she said would be reported back to Wintrystar. Training and interrogation, not much different in Pineflurry's eyes. Wintrystar wanted to know who this cat was, but was doing the training based off of the fact that she had made claims to being a descendant of Goldenstar. Proof was all that was awaiting the final decision. "Now, Emberbrand, would you like to do the honors of explaining the Gods or shall I?" He purposefully ignored the white cats and further questions of the prisoner, for they would get there eventually.

“But I do know how to say my prayers properly” she protested, puffing out her chest proudly. My grandma is the High Priestess, I learned the morning prayers before I even set foot outside of the nursery. Oh Sun, Great Protector of SunClan, as you rise, you bestow light upon your Chosen, bringing life and strength to the Clan and the cats within. Shine upon us today as we carry out your will, and continue to guide our steps, that we may never lose sight of you" Once she was finished she sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws neatly
“and if you were listening Mr.Blue eyes you would already know how I know the drop throw, my grandpaw goldenstar’s taught it to me last night. He said that I should start learning how WinterClan cats fight”
Shooting Pineflurry a firm warning glance, Emberbrand shifted between the apprentice and the warrior, anticipating a fight might break out soon. "Mousepaw, don't you know why Goldenstar brought you here?" he asked, sounding genuinely confused. "He knew you belonged in this clan; he was trying to save you from the cats that stole you." He hunkered down so he was at her eye level. "The Sun God is dead because he was a very bad cat, Mousepaw. He tried to hurt your family. We don't honor him, we honor the Light God. You need to stop praying to a God that hates you and your family."

"The Sun God doesn't hate my family" she protested "Bloodystar does, Littlestar said the Sun God was coming back and even though his physical form may be gone that he can still answer and hear our prayers", Emberbrand looked confused, and now she looked confused to "Grandpaw Goldenstar did say he wants me to become part of WinterClan!" she nodded her head in agreement up and down "He said that he and my grandmaw were from WinterClan until something bad happened to him..." she trailed off, what the other cat said was starting to make some sense at least some what "How did we get stolen from WinterClan? I have never been to WinterClan, they only thing I know about you is from the stories grandmaw would tell"
"Littlestar lied," he replied bluntly, "to spare your feelings because you were too young to understand. Who do you think taught Bloodystar to be so hateful? It was the Sun God. He's twisted and poisonous, and your mother barely escaped him." Emberbrand didn't know much of what went on in SunClan, but he figured Mousepaw didn't either, so it was easy to come up with a narrative. "Littlestar killed the Sun God at the gathering as a final punishment. If he comes back, it'll be because demons never die, not because he's some holy nice guy. If he lives, you should be terrified... except that the Light God will protect you if you honor him, and he'll scare off that nasty Sun God."
He paused, then orchestrated a long sigh. "Oh dear, I don't mean to upset you," Emberbrand mewed gently. "Your grandmother was stolen from our clan as a kitten. A cruel warrior murdered her parents and ran away with her. You have always belonged in WinterClan, we just struggled to bring you back."
Pineflurry didn't want to fill the its with lies, but he did agree about the Sun God and about the stolen life Littlestar would have had had she bene able to stay. Though it was almost lucky that she'd bene stolen as a massacre of her family line occurred not long later. Nonetheless, she needed to learn the true Gods and their abilities. In a calm, even tone, he began explaining them both. "In this clan, the Sun God is known as a demon, and you will treat him as such. The Gods to be worshiped are the Goddess of Death and the God of Light. They are Life and Death, yin and yang, Moon and Aurora Borealis, and only they are worthy of worship. Not some..some beast who claims to be a god. The Goddess watches over us after death, keeps us close as stars in her night sky, while the God of life shows up in the Aurora Borealis and shines though in the crystals we carry. They are present with us day and night, in life and death. It is through the God of Life, God of Light, Lord Borealis, that we are able to thrive in these lands. He ahs gifted us kits, life, and crystals to heal with. Our Goddess of Death, Goddess of the Moon, Lady Selene has embraced us in death, given us solace in times of turmoil and kept us safe in the dark of the unknown. You may begin your days with Prayers to our Lord and your nights with Prayers to our Lady. Do you understand?"

“No...” Mousepaw was visibly upset now, like that had slapped her in face “The Sun God’s not a demon, he used to play with me and Earthpaw all the time. He is big and fluffy!! He’s my friend! When I was sick he would stay by my side and help me heal” she didn’t want to think of him in such a bad way when she had so many fond memories of him “Besides if you know the moon goddess is real, then why don’t you worship the Sun God to?? To me it sounds like you already do, even though you call him by a different name” she paused, shaking her head from one side to the other “because your lord of light sure sounds a lot like the Sun God that I know”
Pineflurry bared his teeth, growling out his next words, fur bristled and body ready for an attack. And he did attack, pinned the ungrateful SunClan apprentice to the ground below him and bared his teeth in her face, making sure she heard him good and clear. "How dare you! How dare a petulant brat like you compare our God to that..that..that monstrosity! He's killed for Gods sake! You call him a savior of your people when he's killed just as many of them? He's tarnished lands, clans, and families. Our! Now ours provides for us. He provides life! Love, kits, joy, all of that comes form him. Not your god, never that idiot of a wanna be god. He's not even worthy of the title."

Mousepaw didn't fight against the warrior, there was no point. She was so small that if he wanted to he could have killed her with a flick of his paw, but instead he just bared his teeth. Instead of fear there was something else in her gaze, more akin to pity "Without death there is no light. Without darkness there is no light" she retorted, not apologizing for her statement or backing away from her belief "No one is perfect, not even the Gods. If you believe your God of Light to be so perfect, than it is only because they hide away their faults. At least the Sun God doesn't shy away or hide his true nature" she jerked one of her paws free, only being able to do so because she hadn't fought back up until this point. She gently traced his jaw line as she spoke next "He shows himself before his chosen, and plays a big role in all of our lives. He is there from the moment we are born until he guides us into the afterlife. When I was sick and stuck inside, he would come and play games with me to pass the time. He would curl around me, and sing me to sleep so that I wouldn't feel so lonely. I have seen my God, basked in his rays, listened to his words" he paw stopped gazing up at him "My God is as real as the air we breathe and the ground you walk upon, yet you ask me to set everything I have ever known to the side... To take you at your word that your God's are more real than my own with no proof of their existence... I know your angry, porcupine," referring to the way his fur bristled outwards, and he had yet to tell her his name... Or perhaps he had and she just couldn't remember "but what if our roles were reversed, and I told you to set your gods aside to worship the Sun God. Would you be able to do so simply on the word of another?"
Emberbrand bit back his frustration as the pair fell down into blows. He closed his eyes pensively, as if deep in thought; when he opened them, he was filled with fresh determination.
"What if I could introduce you to some cats that know the true Sun God?" he asked, sounding troubled. "We have some cats that fled from his terrible light. They will tell you how you've been tricked and what a terrible cat he was."
It couldn't be too hard to convince some warriors or prisoners to pretend to be SunClan defectors.
