Any kits from Bluejay's litter and/or Dottymask's litter are welcome to join in, but this is totally optional, don't feel like you have to reply... unless you are Phantom or Faith you two don't get a pass
"Enchantedwinter," Silverfury's voice broke the silence of the chilly autumn morning. It was early. Like, really, really early. The sun certainly had not risen yet, but the skies were turning a warm pale gray, so it couldn't be far off, not that Enchantedwinter would be able to see it at the moment. Silverfury's massive frame blocked out most of the pale light that was filtering in through the den's entrance, "Get up and follow me."
He gave her shoulder a forceful nudge and then pulled away from the den, surely waking a few of the other Warriors as he did so, but no one dared risk getting on Silverfury's bad side and complain about it.

Silverfury lead Enchantedwinter to the nursery where mews of newborn kits could be heard deep within its walls. Outside the den were the demon kits, cast out to the elements while their adoptive mother labored sometime earlier in the night. He smiled as he watched them shiver. Serves them right, little monsters.
The silver-furred Warrior disappeared into the den without looking back to see if his wife was following him.
Rottenkit sat shivering as Silverfury approached, the usually strong willed tom shoved his gaze to the ground. He still felt the beating from Dotty and Silver from last time he was punished.
Dottymask was curled up in a plush nest made from the freshest plants. The plants were dried in the sunlight and carefully woven by her kits to craft her feather stuffed nest, fit for a queen like her. Nestled up against her belly were her five kits, they were pure bloods, each born without any complications, and without any miscarriages, something Dottymask took special pride in. The only let down was the runt, but there was bound to be one in every litter. She wasn't going to outcast the runt though, even if she was weak she was still a pure blood, just... Not one she was interested in nursing.
"Silverfury," Dottymask said in delighted surprise as the two cats entered. She nosed little newborn Witheringkit away from her belly when the kit persisted to be fed.

Dirtykit sat alone out in the cold, mud plastered onto her pelt making the snow that much colder against her skin. She was shivering, head lowered as Silverfury approached with submission. The little she-kit was smaller than most of her siblings, and thus took a good brunt of the aggression of the WinterClan cats towards them. She tired to make herself small, crouching down wishing she could just melt down into the snow
Enchantedwinter had spent the night drifting in and out of sleep, restless and on guard since the day she had been paired with Silverfury so when his voice rang out calling her name the she-cats striking blue eyes shot open. "S-silverfury." She stuttered out his name, getting to her paws as he commanded, nothing was certain when it came to her new husband and so she had quickly learned the best way to get by was to fully submit. It helped, but it did not stop the crude treatment fully. She stood there waiting for him to lead the way out of the den and he did but not before he gave her shoulder a hard shove, it unbalanced her but she managed to remain upright and quickly trailed behind him.
She didnt dare ask where they were going, but it became clear as the nursery came into view, his pawsteps leading them closer and closer. Her eyes lowered slightly when he disappeared inside, but she froze in place at the sight of the kits huddled out in the cold. They were the demon kits, being raised by Dottymask, but why were they out here. She took a step toward them with a frown. "Are you alright?" She crouched down in front of Rottenkit and Dirtykit, her eyes glistening with concern.

He was Tundrakit, and Tundrakit could barely be seen as he laid next to his siblings in the freezing cold. He was still small, and pure white. Howling was right, it wasn't the same. Getting dragged around was the only sort of familiarity he could feel. And that was a really sucky kind of familiarity. His tail was tucked underneath him, it had so few hairs on it that this was the only way to keep it warm. And his head hurt from where Dottymask hit him earlier. Normally, when they were approached, it only made him push himself into the ground more. And Tundrakit did at first when Enchantedwinter spoke to them. But he peeked up anyway, light green eyes blinking up at her for a moment before shaking his head and burying himself back into the snow.
Enchatedwinter had still not moved from where she was crouched in front of the kits, waiting to see if they would reply to her question, she could guess that they weren't okay being stuck out here in the freezing cold though. Her eyes shifted when Tundrakits head popped up slightly, she hadn't seen him due to his small size and white fur but as soon as her eyes landed on the little tom her heart ached. This wasn't right, demons or not they were kits. She kept Dirtykit and Rottenkit in her view but inched closer to Tundrakit, moving slowly as not to frighten him too much. "Hey there little one.." Her voice was soft and warm as she spoke to him, though he had buried himself back into the snow so she could no longer see his face, her blue eyes filled with sadness at their treatment and in the moment she had forgotten that Silverfury had led her here. strawberrycupidJadie
He had been trying to mind his own business when Enchantedwinter approached. Even as she directly questioned him he kept to himself, he knew Silveryfury wouldn't take the time to serve him a good punishment now, but he could later. Especially when this was his mate, she was nothing but trouble to him. However when he noticed her continue to approach Tundrakit, his eyes turned feral. Rottenkit lurched forward swiping close to Enchantedwinter's lowered face with his paw, "Get away from him!" He hissed, his back arched high.
His entire life he had never met anyone kind except for his siblings and didn't expect to find it with Enchantedwinter, especially when she was Silverfury's mate. Tundrakit was new, he was still going by Tundrakit instead of Maggotkit, which would definitely land him a beating. He didn't need things made worse by trying to get help from Enchantedwinter, there was no one they could trust, but each other.

Dirtykit had not planned on speaking to the she-cat but seeing her siblings about to get in trouble, she stepped forward still shaking "Yes ma'am. We are fine. You shouldn't keep Silveryfury waiting" she kept her eyes on the ground trying to be respectful, but was honestly scared at even saying that much to her "We will get out of your way, my apologies" she stepped back trying to gently tug her siblings back away from the she-cat to keep them safe.
She hadn't been expecting the kit to lash out at her, so when Rottenkit jumped forward and swiped at her she flinched away. She couldn't blame him for his actions, trying to protect his littermate, she had no plans on hurting them but it seemed they had a different idea on the matter. She listed her blue/grey head and looked at them, conflicted until Dirtykit spoke her mates name, fear gripped her and she looked to the nursery entrance. "Ah, right... Silverfury." She got to her paws and backed away from the kits despite wanting to stay and try and help them. "I guess if you all say you're fine.." She knew it was a lie, how could they be fine.
Silverfury's always-intense expression became slightly less intense as they settled on the five bundles nestled next to Dottymask's flank. Beautiful pureblood kits, thick-furred and colored perfectly for their mountain home, his pride and joy. Their pride and joy. Over the moons he had grown very close to Dottymask. While calling their relationship romantic didn't seem quite right, the two meshed together like pieces of a puzzle, and that was good enough for him, "You did a good job," He purred, brushing his cheek against hers in greeting, "WinterClan is lucky to have such a healthy, pure-blood litter. Enchantedwinter, these are---"
He turned to face his wife only to see that she had not followed him into the den. Immediately a scowl replaced what was presumably the proud expression he had been wearing before and he stuck his head out of the den to see what the hold up was.
"Are these abominations bothering you?" Silverfury growled, smacking Ditykit and Rottenkit aside in one decisive swipe to clear a path for Enchantedwinter. He mostly ignored Tundrakit, believing the runt wouldn't last long anyway so he didn't want to spend much energy on him, "They know better than to talk without being spoken to first, why in the world they are acting up now is beyond me. Just because there are new kits does not mean that things will be easier for you lot. I'll have to punish you later for this... anyway, Enchantedwinter, after you."

Soullesskit did her best to stay silent. She was grounded by her mother not long ago, and it was worse than she could have imagined. Dottymask made her dig a hole and stay in it for a whole day. The kitten pulled away as Maggotkit lashed out. There was no way she would get involved in this... no way. She opened her eyes and looked up to Enchantedwinter. The pleading in her eyes was obvious even when she tried to hide it. The kitten was freezing. She couldn't feel her tail or her paws.
She turned away as Silverfury left the den, and she could already feel the punishment for this slip-up. She ran over to Dirtykit and Rottenkit as they were knocked away. She nosed them and whispered softly, again to hopefully avoid the wrath of the warrior. "Get up. We're better than this."
Enchantedwinter jumped when Silverfury poked out of the den, snaking two of the kits to the side, her eyes followed them while her ears flattened against her head. "Stop!" She cried out without thinking. "I talked to them, but they ignored me." The last part was a lie but he didnt need to know that, she knew it would make him made but at least it would be directed at her and not them. The thought terrifies her though. She glanced at the kits one last time and then looked back at her mate without moving.
"Oh I'm sure." Silverfury snarled, glaring at the kits not Enchantedwinter. Each time she defending them increased the punishment they would receive. If he didn't do that, then they would associate a soft-hearted cat like her with good things, and he couldn't have that. They aught to fear the rightful member of the Clan, not befriend them, "Quit standing there and come along now. You can help me take care of them after you meet my kits."
Rottenkit rolled twice before coming to a stop right until Dirtykit rolled into him knocking him back into the freezing snow. He listened to Silverfury, a weak whimper escaped hearing that his "step father" would not forget to punish them. He looked up at Soullesskit, but instead of standing up, out of the snow he stared down, festering in anger. Soullesskit was right, they were better than this and if it were any other cat he would get up, but he couldn't stand up to Silverfury, there was too much fear. Instead he lied shivering on the ground, pressing himself into Dirtykit for warmth. Someday he really hoped he would be able to knock Silverfury around.

Maggotkit was missed, somehow. His whole body shook with regret. He was the one that got Dirtykit and Rottenkit punished after all. The one plus of being so small was being able to move without attracting as much attention. The snow had almost become warm when he left it. Shivering even harder the instance he freed himself, Maggotkit gave Silverfury and Enchantedwinter a huge gap before finally reaching his siblings. He wanted to help in some way, but look what happened. "Are you okay? I'm sorry." Maggotkit whispered to them.

Dirtykit laid in the snow, her paw lifting to her cheek rubbing it gently after receiving the blow. Even when she got to her paws, her head hind low and her ears fell back “mommy is going to be so angry” she replied already beginning to get upset at the thought, but her head snapped around at her sibling “No we are demons, why don’t you understand?” Tears in her eyes as she pulled away from them “We should be thankful he didn’t kill us for speaking to her, I should have just kept quiet... Now mommy is going to be upset. Maybe she will forgive me after Silverfury punishes me...”

What mom? Mom wouldn't know, she was down in the prison. She was that worried about Dottymask? Maggotkit did not get his siblings at all. His ears pinned to the back of his head, looking away as he didn't know what to tell Dirtykit. What was the big deal? Who cares if they were demons, or if they were forgiven? "I'm not gonna apologize for not being grateful for this life. Besides, why would she forgive you in the first place if you're a disgusting demon like me?"
Enchantedwinter watched the kits for a moment longer, she knew now if she did anything more they would only suffer further and so she turned to Silverdury and walked into the nursery. It wasn't a surprise to her that her mate now had kits with another she-cat, Dottymask was pure-blooded, everything that he wanted. "Congratulations on your new family." She mewed quietly to the queen and Silverfury, her eyes moving down to look at the small creatures, lingering on the smallest who Dottymask pushed away from her.
"Hey, she might look fine, but she's more wounded than me in ways you can't see," Rottenkit said to Maggotkit as he dusted the snow off of himself. He looked his brother up and down, "Welcome to the family," He said, walking past him to go back to sitting.
"Beautiful, aren't they? It's been many moons since a litter so pure was born in WinterClan. If it weren't for Dottymask and I, I'm not sure if there would be a pureblood left after that stupid DayClan blind dating event," Silverfury purred, brushing his paw along the back of his only son, a tom that looked very much like him. After a few silent moments passed by before he turned his gaze back to his so-called wife, "As you can see, Dottymask has had her paws full with those little demons, and now she's got her own litter to worry about. I'll have you stay with her in the nursery and do whatever it is she needs you to do so she can focus on what counts."
Sinfulkit had avoided the worst of the conflict only because she'd picked a more convenient place to rest. She'd gotten to her paws and padded over to Rottenkit and Dirtykit shortly after the adults went into the nursery, "Even if you act like an angel, you will never be more than a demon to Dottymask. So I don't know why you care so much about what she thinks. The more you let her into your heart, the more leverage she will find to hurt you, same as all the rest of these crooked WinterClan cats."
