This wasn't the first time Ruinedportrait had been on MoonClan territory, but it was the first time she had wandered this far into it. The Janus hadn't even bothered to wash the paint from her fur. The River had washed away some of it those when she crossed, but the yellow circle centered on her forehead was still plain as day. She was tired, her fur was wet and heavy from crossing the river and it felt as though it was dragging her down. It had been a long time since she had gone out this late at night and she kept looking over her shoulder as if a SunClan patrol or even a MoonClan patrol were hot on her trail.

Subaru watched the soaked Sunclan Janus for a few moments, yellow-moon eyes bright with curiosity as she blatantly walked into and through Moonclan's territory. He had learned so much about the clan cats and such since joining them, not to mention the information he had learned from his mother, Shadow, when he was young. There was a code and rules and territories and whatever. However, this cat didn't seem to care one bit about those things and that intrigued him. That is why he didn't immediately halt her at the border but let her walk for a little bit. He swiftly jumped from tree to tree, a skill he had learned young from rogues, before landing smoothly in front of the painted she-cat. "Boo."
the flame point flinched back, clearly startled by the tom's sudden appearance though she didn't let her fear show. Straightening up she eyed the black and white tom suspiciously, and with far too much confidence for someone trespassing on someone else's territory. "Nice try but, you're not very scary." She looked around for any signs of a patrol but if there were any more of his clan-mates near by she couldn't see nor sent them. "I wasn't aware MoonClan had monkeys in their territory though, so that was a surprise" she teased before taking on a more serious tone. "I need to speak with Leviathan."

Subaru let out a chuckle, tilting his head at the bold she-cat. "Well, now you know that monkeys truly exist in Moonclan, but please don't tell the others. It's our secret." He gave her a wink then turned with a wave of his tail. "Unfortunately, Leviathan isn't... around anymore..." His voice tightened with the sudden awkwardness of the situation. Rasalas had said Leviathan died, but Subaru wasn't sure if he could actually trust anything that came out of that crazy cat's mouth. "Rasalas is our new cardinal. You'll have to speak with him."
This time Ruinedportrait didn't bother trying to mask her surprise at the tom's news. "What? What happened to Leviathan?" she asked, genuine concern sneaking into her tone. She noticed that he didn't say he was dead, but his tone suggested that whatever happened could only be bad news. "Who is Rasalas?" Had MoonClan really been taken over by a strange rogue again?

“Ah, we aren’t exactly sure but personally I think Rasalas drove him out. I’ve maybe said too much, though. It’s better that you talk to him face to face.” He answered with a shrug, trying to act more nonchalant than worried. He turned and beckoned for her follow with his tail but stopped suddenly in his tracks. “Oh, you should know that Rasalas is a little...uhhh, eccentric.”
"Wait, wait, wait... you think he drove your leader out and you all still follow him?" she asked in clear disbelief. Fighting to keep her fur laying flat she followed the strange tom stopping suddenly when he did. Though what he had to say did little to soothe her now growing fear eccentric? what was that supposed to mean? Already she was starting to regret her choice to come here, but it was too late to turn back now.
