Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Light paw-steps were Littlecrow's first cue that she would soon be having a visitor. It was the time she was usually fed, not that she really had much of a concept of time down here, but her stomach would be empty and that clock was easy enough to track. A brief exchange between the guard and her server - too muffled to make out any of the words - filled the silence and then the stone that blocked the exit was moved.
The cat that walked in looked like a mirror of the former High Priestess. Long silver tabby fur with golden brown eyes - not quite the same shade as hers, sure - burning with the same fire that hers once had. His size was comparable, although clearly she was still the larger cat due to the age difference, but the resemblance was uncanny.
Perfectkit.
In his jaws was a fresh-killed sparrow, plump and delectable, it seemed too good to go to a lowly prisoner like Littlecrow in times of hunger but it seemed Bloodystar had made an exception.
"This is my first kill. Bloodystar said I should give it to you."
Perfectkit's voice was venomous. He looked at Littlecrow with the exact same hatred that Bloodystar did, although he seemed less sure of himself, his tail-tip twitching back and forth. Regardless, obedient as always, he dropped the prey to the ground and batted it toward his mother.
At first she paid little mind to the soft approaching footsteps. It was like clock work that food was brought to her. A pile of uneaten prey laid at the edges of her prison. It wasn’t that she was avoiding eating, but she couldn’t keep much of anything down. One or two bites, and her stomach was filled to capacity. However, the former high priestess was in better condition than before. As long as her ribs were wrapped tightly she could manage to sit upwards, even though it still took her breathe away and she had started to be able to put a small amount of weight on her broken leg, a sure sign that it was slowly mending. Even now as Perfectkit approached she had been testing it, seeing how far she could push herself before the pain became to great.
It was was when his voice reached her ears that she turned to face him. He was stunning, almost unrecognizable. She hadn’t seen any of her children, save for resilientbloom, since shortly after they had opened their eyes “Perfectkit” her eyes lit up, despite the way he spoke to her. He had been raised by Bloodyrondo, there was Little wonder that he would hate her. She could only hope that one day he would understand “Thank you” she dipped her head, graciously accepting the prey “Is Bloodyrondo treating you and your siblings well?”
Perfectkit felt dirty. Dirty for being near her but also dirty for being mean. When Littlecrow had been taken from his life he had only had fond, fleeting memories of the she-cat. She'd never done him wrong. He'd loved her with all of his heart, once, as any kit should its mother. But since then he had learned better. He'd learned all about what good the Sun God was as well as all of bad the Moon Goddess and, by extension, Littlecrow, was. She'd willingly allowed herself to be possessed and kill SunClan's God. The epitome of evil.
Yet why did he still feel so dirty?
Perfectkit's eyes were drawn to the crescent moon that had been etched into his mother's forehead. Remember why she is here. Forget what she used to be. Forget who you used to be.
He wanted to leave but his paws felt glued to the floor.

She wouldn't deny what she had done, but it was clear enough that perfectkit hadn't been told the whole story. She tried to hide it, but his words cut her deeply. Littlecrow waited, staring into his his eyes "I'm glad at least one of my prayers have been answered" and truely she was. Perfectkit was growing quickly, and looked very healthy. Seeing no one but Bloodystar she didn't know what fate had fallen upon several of her other children "I don't blame you for being angry, and no matter how many hurtful words you say or the amount of hatred you hold in your heart for me, I will always love you and your siblings. My only regret is not being able to see you grow"
As her weight shifted the vines that bound her to the wall creaked "What I did was to protect your future and SunClan. If this is the price I have to pay for that, than I will glad carry this burden. When the Sun God returns, he will know my heart is true"
