The Poised
Silverfringe tail gently passed of the the four kits the nuzzled up against her side nursing in their new nest in the nursery. After having gone into labor during their tying of the knot ceremony when it was interrupted by news of her sister. She had been shuffled into one of the side dens, but her mate was no where to be seen. Gone... With Bloodystar gone to help Jetfire and no other healers in the group, and her mate no where to be seen she had given birth on her own. She wouldn't admit it, but that whole thing had left her shaken. But more importantly... angry and bitter.
It was all just as well, she would name them herself and as soon as she was able she would track them down and drag their sorry behind back. She was not going to allow them to make her into a laughing stock. She touched each of the kits on the head, saying their names aloud "Handsomekit, Hiddenkit, Harmoniouskit, and Havenkit" proper names for her children that she was determined to grow up to be influential in the clan.
