Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(This rp is open to anyone who wants to rp their SunClan prisoners. Thought it could be a fun rp between them and the new priest promise!)
Duskslayer had asked for as many prisoners as the guards felt comfortable with to be secured into one prison unit for a short meeting. He finished by requesting that any guards form a wide, yet tight perimeter to ensure no one could leave and with that he was left alone in the dark den with the prisoners, in a twisted way it almost felt like home.
"I'm going to be direct and promise you my honesty. Up until recently I have been living in Renegade Regime, only now that I have returned do I know of the disturbing and unsettling events that have happened in SunClan. Bloodystar has chosen me as his priest promise and I am here to give each of you a wellness check as well as listen to any and all concerns you may have. But one thing I will make clear is that Bloodystar's safety will always be my priority and no one can sway me otherwise. I am here to support his mental health and ensure that he remains out of harms way, which means guiding him to make good decisions. I'm sure all of you have plenty of ideas on things that need to change and concerns you have and I'm more than willing to listen to them." He said sitting down in front of them, his turquoise eyes were so relaxed it could have felt like they were back at home again. His entire aura held the comforting lie of everything's going to be okay. "Speak as freely as you would like."

Lionpride was still hunched over slightly as he was ushered out of the small cell he shared with Pollendrone. After being unable to even stand to his full height for many days now, his muscles were stiff and it was painful to stretch them as he was put into a chamber with the other prisoners. He kept close to Pollendrone, the wounds on her cheeks still a fresh reminder of the cost of disobedience. He kept his long fur touching hers, standing slightly ahead of her. He had half expected Bloodystar to be here trying to punish them for not eating. Every day they were brought the herb stuffed mice, and each day the laid uneaten until the guards eventually had to take them away. He had already begun to loose weight, now riddled with scars in various phases of healing "For one the food sucks" he meowed blatantly, only half joking.
Pollendrone had been one of the prisoners allowed to join Duskslayer along with Lionpride, she remained as close to the large grey tom as possible while being ushered into a different holding cell, her legs were weak and the deep claw marks on either side of her face were crusted with dry blood while fresh red still oozed slowly. She had yet to receive medical care for her wounds, but she also wasnt about to beg any cat for help so she did her best to bury the pain, though it still showed in her now dull brown eyes. Her ear twitched when Lionpride spoke up about the food and she half expected some cat to yell or come at her sos he pressed against his side in preparation.
He hated seeing Lionpride look the way he did, it took all his practice at acting to not grimace at the sight of him. Maybe if he just met Lionpride he wouldn't have that affect on him, but it was knowing the before and after that hurt the most. Still for as much compassion as he wanted to show the once respected warrior he didn't want to openly pity and therefore damage his pride so he kept his tone light. "Hey, the food sucking is a valid concern. Why does the food suck, is it rotten when they bring it to you?" Duskslayer asked.

Lionpride shook his head, the tangles from laying so still on his stomach swinging from side to side "So you really don't know whats been going on down here" his eyes narrowed slightly, his voice flat and even. It was a statement more than a question. He knew that Bloodystar and Duskslayer had always been close, but now that Duskslayer was his Promised how had he not been informed of the horrors going on right underneath his nose. If anyone could talk some sense into Bloodystar it was going to be Duskslayer "They prey would be fine if Bloodystar kept his paws off of it", perhaps if he could show Duskslayer exactly what was going on here he would be able to do something about the madness "Duskslayer... Look you have always had a good head on your shoulders, so I am going to frank with you. Bloodystar has gone to far this time. I don't know how he managed it, but he faked a sign from the Sun God to arrange marriages for my entire family. The mice he brings us each day? Well they are stuffed with the same herbs my mother used for the romance festival. I don't know all the names of the herbs, but I helped her pack enough of those bundles to know what they are used for" he paused looking back at Pollendrone giving her a slight nod "He wants me to get her pregnant. Plain and simple. and if I don't... well..." he looked up at Duskslayer fire burning in his gaze "He has made it very clear that he will take it out on my son and daughter"
Pollendrone lifted her head enough to see Duskslayer and notice Lionpride when he looked down at her, she did not know the Priest Promised at all but the look of sadness that fluttered in her eyes was almost heartbreaking. She still didnt speak though, allowing Lionpride to do most of the communicating for the both of them.
"This time?" Duskslayer asked, he still remembered exactly what his mom told him that Bloodystar did to Littlestar, but listened closely. It was easy to hear what someone had to say, but to really listen to someone even when what they were saying was hard to hear took practice. "Okay, so what I'm understanding is that Bloodystar is tainting your prey with the same herbs from the romance festival so that you two have kits. He can then use these kits to control you both." His face turned red almost instantly, "Um... Not judging, but... I know those herbs don't put you in an enraged hormonal state, they just increase fertility so um," He rubbed the back of his head, "I mean, it's definitely awful, but have you considered maybe not doing that... Y'know... That. And then you can eat as much as you want and not worry about the fertility effect?"

Brilliantbeacon probably shouldn't have been allowed, considering she'd tried to murder Bloodystar as of recently. For that matter, it was quite a surprise she was even here at all... The she-cat was well, not in the best shape, to say the least. Honestly, she'd been in and out of it the last few days, and it still hurt to breath. She was bound so tightly in herbs, thanks to Mountainsound, that it was almost hard to tell who she was in the first place. But now that she was able to be conscious, she'd insisted. And, well, Lastaffair wasn't about to say no, though she sat right beside Littlestar's daughter, just in case, though considering the she-cat had at least a few broken bones, and ribs, and her entire abdomen was bandaged up because of Bloodystar's thugs... well.
"How about this then, Duskslayer." Her voice was hoarse, and her breath rattled with each word. She didn't expect him to have any sympathy for her, considering his mission was to keep Bloodystar safe, but her blue eyes were laid on him piercing and bright. "He's trying to feed me the same herbs. He's trying to feed them to me, when I'm far too injured to be able to carry a litter to term, without it killing either the kits or me. He's faked a sign and forced a tom on me for a mate, telling me I was meant to be with Shadowking even after I revealed that I am only attracted to she-cats. He's trying to feed me these herbs when I've stated, and he knows, that I have no desire to become pregnant and have kits." Though she hadn't actually said much, she was breathing hard, and forced to lay her head on her paws, exhaustion weighing at her body, but she never let her eyes leave Dusky's.
Duskslayer took a deep breath before nodding, he doubted Bloodystar could keep up tainting their food for long. Everything was dying from the plants to the prey who had nothing to eat. Soon enough that supply was going to run out completely especially with this many failed attempts. If they kept holding out on eating soon enough there wouldn't be enough herb to have any affect on them at all. "Before I give you my best advice, I have an important question to ask all of you. If you had the chance would you leave here and never come back?"

Brilliantbeacon, for her part, was quick to speak. "Not without my family." Her parents, all of her siblings, including Jetfire. If they were all allowed to walk away, she would take that chance, but not a moment before. And Bloodystar would never let Littlestar go.
Mountainsound didn't have an issue being here. The she-cat was about as trusted as a prisoner could get, and Bloodystar wasn't stupid enough to treat her terribly, since she was tasked with treating the injured here in the prison. The ex-medicine cat sat near to Brilliantbeacon, checking on the she-cat quietly following her little talk. The younger cat shouldn't even be here, but the tabby knew firsthand just how stubborn Littlestar's kits could be. Her voice was sure, and not hostile. Though she did have the luxury of Dusky being her grandson by marriage. "SunClan is home, and I will not abandon those who need me." She had spent her life here, and no one, not even Bloodystar, would be able to drive her away. She was needed here, and here she would stay.
Pollendrone looked over at Brilliantbeacon and then gave a little nod in agreement. She knew her family would never leave and so that left her to stay with them, but helping Littlestar should be top priority along with her family who were suffering. "If we leave then there is no telling what would happen to those left behind, it isn't a matter of just up and leaving, but stopping the source of the mess." She spoke softly, but loud enough to be heard. "If not then it will just start all over again, and more innocent cats will get hurt."
This was going to take some effort, a heart felt speech that would bring everyone to tears. Possibly even a musical number if he really needed them to rally together. "All of you have a choice to make. If Bloodystar can control how you feel, he can control how you think and you're all falling for it like the sheep this clan raised you to be. Don't you think that's how your mom felt being dragged across the ground. That she couldn't make a run for it because she can't leave you? Now you're saying the same stupidity as her and I know if she said that to any of you that you would tell her it was alright and to leave. So why can't you give yourself that same love and respect? Because if you don't start respecting your life you will have kits and someday they'll be damned to say the same thing to me, that they can't leave their family behind. You're acting like lemmings, but you're not, you're the daughters and sons and family and followers, of Little." He said, his voice moving to a softer tone, one with infinite understanding, "You might be in a dark place right now, but you've seen peace before, that world is still out there and that hope is still inside you. Use it to protect who you do have before you lose it too."
It felt weird talking down to them with some tough love when in some other timeline he would have never spoken to any of them like this. But he knew if Littlestar could that she would say and do anything to make them leave so they could be safe. She wouldn't want them to suffer and rot for a cause they couldn't even fight for behind bars.

"Don't tell me you'd just leave your mate behind if she was beaten within an inch of her life, scarred, and left to rot in prison, and the kits you had were given to some new tyrant to brainwash as he pleased." Brilliantbeacon's voice was quiet, but cold as she spoke of Littlestar's experience. But he did have a point. She didn't really want to die, and if she could get even some of her family out, then she would. "Give me my parents. I don't care if you have to drag them against their will, but I want Littlestar and Skipstep. I'll leave if I watch them walk across the border myself." It was easy enough. Well, it should be, for the Promised. All he had to do was take Brilliantbeacon, Skipstep, and Littlecrow on a patrol and shove them across the border. Boom, three less prisoners.
"Brilliance." His paw touched her shoulder to shock her out of her bargaining. His turquoise gaze locked onto hers, his look alone said a thousand cold truths, but one in particular stuck out the most, seemingly say, that's never going to happen. It was the kind of truth that dug in deep, a realization that could freeze the heart, wanting to deny the reality. "I'm sorry," He whispered to her comfortingly before stepping back.
"My dads first family was murdered here, my brother when he was a kit was nearly executed by Foxstar, and my moms clan was enslaved. And the story ends with all of those bad people living happily ever after. This isn't going to play out the way you think it is because there's no God to pray to and there's no stars to wish on. This around you is the reality you're in, so when I offer you freedom, say yes," He said holding out his paw to her, "Don't think just do it." If this were based on tone alone his voice was so addicting to listen to it was hard to say no to anything he said.

Lionpride watched what transpired between them quietly, before shaking his head from one side to the other "You should know more than most what a father's love means" he felt his heart pounding within his chest "Until I am able to free my children, there is no walking away from here. I would give ANYTHING to see them set free, but so long as Bloody lives he won't allow that to happen. He would hunt them down one by one. Just walking away from here wouldn't be a life that I am giving them, always having to look over their shoulders" he tried to straighten up, some of the healing scars along his shoulder popping open and sending blood oozing downwards "What if it was your children down here instead?Could YOU just walk away?"
Duskslayer looked at his empty paw that Brilliantbeacon hadn't reached out to before looking up at Lionpride. His turquoise gaze was hypnotic, dizzying to stare into as he listened to Lionpride. Brilliantbeacon had asked the same question, but he intentionally took it as rhetorical. Now that Lionpride had asked him directly it was too hard to ignore. He hesitated to reply, at first it seemed Lionpride had won his argument, but it soon appeared to be the opposite, "Depends on the situation," He admitted, before adding, "but I have a feeling that kind of response is so far removed from your moral code that it's hard to process."
He looked at Lionpride for a moment, like he was debating explaining to him why, but it would take too long. From a very young age Dusky had learned to play the long game, what it meant to make sacrifices. His mom had to act like she didn't care about him or his siblings just for Foxbane to leave them alone. She loved his family so much she was willing to let him and his siblings hate her if it meant keeping them safe. His family was trained, day one to focus on the goal, there was no luxury to scream at oppressors, there was no time for tears. Only relentless planning, sacrificing, and hollow victories.
Instead of staying on the present topic he moved on, "I'm sorry about the food though, my best suggestion is to eat dirt, rocks, and bugs, if you can get clay that should block out the herbs side effects on the prey. If that's all okay with you I can personally start each of you on an insectivore diet for a week. Also is there anything else? Have you had any dark thoughts, contemplation of suicide?"
