Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Things were finally looking up for Bravekit. Duskslayer noticed that everyday he was able to leave Bravekit alone for longer stretches of time. His sons skin was adapting to the herbal ointments, while they ointments weren't perfect they still allowed some protection. This meant he could leave his sons side without any worry that he would need urgent care for the next week so long as he didn't play outside too long.
Duskslayer ventured around camp in search for Bloodystar when he caught out of the corner of his eyes the white see through cat. His turquoise eyes followed the cat only to see that Bloodystar was sitting beside it, just out of view. Dodging a few cats Duskslayer me the distance between him and the priest and sat down in front of Bloodystar, "Hey, now that Bravekit's doing better I wanted to talk to you about everything."
Before his friend had a chance to speak he dipped his head so deeply it was to the ground, "I can't express to you how sorry I am for hiding the kits from you. I am not sorry for hiding them from SunClan, but I will always be sorry that I hid them from you. You're my best friend, I wanted you in their lives, but I was afraid you would tell Littlestar at the time. If I knew you were leader sooner I wouldn't have lied."
Bloodystar didn't turn to face Duskslayer right away, but his ear flicked back, apology heard. He didn't like talking about stuff like this. He'd much rather just leave it in the past and move on, no need to bring it up ever again. He'd look past it because he'd rather ignore his problems than face them. But eventually he did turn to look at Duskslayer, his expression painfully neutral as he tried to hide the pain
"They're SunClan kits," Bloodystar replied simply, motioning for Duskslayer to join him, "They were always mean to be here, and you can see it in Bravekit. He's thriving here compared to the Regime." So an I-told-you so was the best he could do, no acceptance, just facts. His expression softened, "I'm happy at least that we both get to raise litters together at the same time in the High Priest and Priest Promised's den. Our kits will grow up to be the best of friends, just like us."
"That was always the dream," Duskslayer said sitting up straight again, although he tried his best to be honest, he still felt the guilt on his heart. He doubted Bloodystar would understand why he did what he did, but it seemed he was past that now. If Bloodystar was past then he was too. Still he'd never forget Bloodystar's face when they both discovered what the other knew. "They're so close in age too, but you're right, there's a lot to look forward to. I'm sorry I act too much like an older brother and worry about your feelings so much. I'll try and lay off more."
(We can probably end it here, places to go, people to rp with, this is a pretty good conclusion. So if you want you can do a last reply or we conclude it here lol)
