The gust of wind ruffled my fur as I entered the dark forest of NightClan. As soon as I had stepped a paw onto it's ground, my nose was hit hard with many different scents of prey. I zeroed in on a rabbit and pinpointed where it was and began my hunt. I lowered myself towards the ground and slunk forward, resting each paw as carefully as I could. A few times I would brush up against a bush or a branch on the ground, but I would stop short, wait a few minutes and then continue forward.
I finally made it to were the rabbit was nibbling on a long stalk of grass. I crouched low hidden by the shadows of the nearby bushes. I waited a minute or two and then I pounced. The rabbit lifted it's head, turned in my direction and then began to run for it's life. I was only a paw-length away, so I put on a spurt of energy and launched myself at it. I felt it underneath my front paws as it started to struggle, trying to get free. I quickly dug my claws into it's stomach and then gave it a swift bite to it's exposed throat. As my teeth connected with flesh and bone, it's blood smeared on my muzzle. A sense of accomplishment waved over me. I watched as the lights dimmed from his eyes, his breath now ragged and slow, completely stop, and it's head flops to the ground.
With the rabbit now dead, I buried it underneath a near by blackberry bush and continued to hunt. By the time the moon began to set and light began to grow on the horizon, I had killed three rabbits, a blackbird, and had caught at least five fish. I back tracked picking up my prey as I headed back to camp. I carried the bigger prey on my back, while the smaller prey I carried in my mouth. By the time I reach camp the sun was out and making me burn up. I quickly walked into the shelter of the camp and placed my prey on the pile. I sat down to catch my breath as someone came up behind me.

Darktalon had quickly jumped back after she accidentally stumbled across the tom. She was still getting used to rising with the moon, and was still unsure of the layout of the camp. As she was heading back to the prison she had felt a bit hungry and was following her nose mainly to the fresh-kill pile. She hadn't even noticed the warrior and she felt a bit foolish. With her ears pinned back the matted tabby crouched down submissively. "I'm... I'm so... sorry..." She stuttered. "I... I didn't... mean to... to bother... you"

I quickly rose to my paws and turned to see who it was, my eyes narrowed. A low growl beginning to rise out of my throat. I look down at the tabby she-cat and and let out a snort. "Whatever!" I say standing up, towering over her, my claws out and gleaming in the moonlight. I look at her and then at my claws, lifting my right paw, I look at the she-cat towering beneath me and then at my claws again. I let out a sigh, and lash out her, with my claws sheathed. "I won't be so nice next time." I tell her, as I turn around, grab a rabbit and walk away towards the warrior's den to eat in peace and quiet.

The moment she saw his paw rise in the air, Darktalon had squeezed her eyes shut in anticipation of the blow that was sure to come. She flinched when it came, but was pleasantly surprised when she noticed his claws had been sheathed. Darktalon could only nod as she slowly opened her eyes again, watching him leave. She swallowed thickly as she slowly stood up. The dark tabby grabbed a rabbit from the pile and quickly ran back to her little prison

I slowly ate my meal, keeping my eye on the prison, as I watched the matted she-cat disappear through it's entrance. I let out a snort and continue to eat. After a few minutes I was full and had half a rabbit eaten. I grabbed the remains, walked to the prison and flung it into the hole.

Darktalon had happily eaten her rabbit after calming down a bit. She had just managed to get the fur on the back of her neck to lie flat. She cleaned her paws of any extra bits of meat when she was suddenly hit with the remains of another animal. She let out a startled hiss and scurried back into the shadows of her prison

I peered over the edge of the prison wall, a smirk on my face, as I see it hit another cat on the head. I give a laugh and watched in amusement as the cat scampered towards the shadow of the prison. My pale blue, almost white eyes gleamed through the darkness, making them look like little lights from Two-leg lamps or tailights.
"Aw, c'mon, that wasn't necessary. Not a bit!" A good-natured voice drawled. The large body it belonged to stepped into a long, lazy stretch before plodding along near the fellow Nightclan tom. Quarrydust's nose was scrunched in disapproval, but a playful twinkle in his yellow eyes signified his placating was all in good fun. That being said, as the tom plopped into a boarish sitting position, he gave a long side glance to the prisoner's den. "She wasn't being a bother," He added in a chiding tone, like a reproaching queen, as he began to groom the puffy fur of his fawn streaked chest.

"Huh?" I asked as I looked to see the other tom coming over. "So? I'm just having some fun!" I reply as I sit down on my haunches and begin to lick my chest fur to smooth it out. "It's not like I really hurt her or anything." I commented eyeing him closely.
"Maybe so," the tom mrrowed in a thoughtful tone. "I guess she didn't bleed or anything." Quarrydust gave Venomousnight a conceding nudge with his broad shoulder-- he was never one for physical boundaries-- and said in a confiding, humorous tone, "I'm a real sucker for those dainty-type she-cats, ya know? Real vulnerable-like. See, now, if that one there was a bonafide Nightclanner, she'd be in the nursery with my kits in no time. I like a more tame little queen to come home to, ya know?" The tom gave a dramatic sigh, eyes peering up towards the sky as if he was in a little reverie.

"I guess, I would have to say I don't care were they come from or who they are with, I'll take who I want and make them mine. Have many mates and kits." I replied honestly as I looked to see the she-cat that he was pointing out to. "A cat who obeys you without question and does what you want, when you want it. I can't argue with that!" I said with a humorous laugh.

Darktalon couldn’t help but curl her lips in disgust as she drew her tail around her body protectively. She appreciated the fact that the other tom was able to stop Venomousnught. However, listening to their conversation only made her feel sick to her stomach
"Hey, exactly," Quarrydust responded, surprised laughter giving his voice an added lightness. "I'm more traditional myself, I want to find the right one to be my queen, but I want many kits-- and someone who does what ya want, now that's a dream! Gotta say, though, it'd be risky to have kits with a scared, weak she-cat. Wouldn't want the little'uns to end up cowards." The tom gave an imperious, knowing snort, despite the fact he instantly froze up in the face of any she-cat and had never had anything even close to a mate before.

I purred with amusement. "Yes, A weak and cowardly queen who doesn't try to undermine you, well it isn't fun! Kits being cowards, no thanks, I want them to grow up to be feared, and respected, not looked down and pushed around." I replied with switch of my tail. I could smell the she-cat I had threatened and looked down at the hole a smirk on my lips.
