Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Cherrykit hummed excitedly to herself, most of the clan was down at the ceremony springs, for why she had no idea. She'd noticed the warriors spent a lot of time there lately, she didn't mind however, this just meant that there was no one around to interrupt her. The tawny she-kit stood alone in the tunnels, a giant leaf laid at her paws, holding an absurd amount of blue paint, that she had painstakingly spent all morning making.
Looking at the blank canvas before her, considering her vision for several moments she stepped into the leaf, covering her paws in the brilliant blue liquid. lifting herself up on her back paws, leaning on the wall with one paw, she began to paint with the other. What she was painting she didn't know yet. She would let her art tell her what the image was supposed to be when it was done, so far it was just carious symbols and shapes.

Carrotkit watched from aside, his eyes brimming with curiosity as the she-kit began smearing the paint onto the blank wall. He tilted his head from side to side making the tuft of orange fur between his ears fall from one side to the other. After watching for a fem moments in silence, he made his way over to the kit inspecting her work with careful scrutiny "Your straight lines need some work" he commented his eyes tracing over what he assumed was supposed to be a line "And if you add a little bit of white or black into your paint you could add in some different hues" he suggested. He wasn't exactly sure what she was making yet, but it seemed like decent enough advice "Oh and if you dip your claws in the paint in flex them you could make a more natural splatter effect"
the she-kit's ears twitched at the sound of tom's sudden criticism. She had thought she was alone, and for a moment her ears burned with annoyance. She bit back the bitter retort that danced on the tip of her tongue. Taking a deep breath she dropped back onto all fors and turned the face the orange tom. "Oh? You mean like this?" Ofeering him a playful smile, quickly the she cat dipped her paw into the paint once more and flexed her claws quickly, spraying blue paint right at the ginger tom's face, splattering him with blue.

Most cats would have been angry with the sudden splatter of paint, but Carrotkit just grinned as the blue paint splattered on him making it look like he had suddenly gotten blue freckles "exactly like that" he praised, stranding up with his tail straight up in the air wearing his new paint with pride. After all kits were not really supposed to wear blue paint, so he couldn't be mad "The Sun God would be proud!" he chirped "I think it is great that you are working on your painting skills. The Sun God wants us to wear paint to distinguish ourselves from the shadewalkers and the clan could always use better painters. I'm not really all the great at painting yet, but I am working hard to!"
A warm purr radiated in Cherrykit's throat at his praise, she had fully expected him to be at least a tiny bit mad but he wasn't. She wanted to tell him that she wasn't just practicing her body paint, that really she wanted to liven up the plain walls of the caves with pictures but she wasn't ready to share that with anyone just yet, not when she needed to improve so much. "Well in that case, here since your already wearing blue." The torbie sfepped closer to her den-mate not caring if she left a trail of blue paw prints on the path. Refreshing her paint from the leaf she began to paint an intricate pattern on the kit, doing her best to replicate the way she had seen some of the warriors do theirs.

Carrotkit sat as still as he could while he waited on the other kit to paint him as a warm purr rumbled in his throat "You are very gentle" he praised thinking back to how his mom always applied the paint to his pelt "Your already better than my mom at this, she just splashes it all over me" he didn't want to mess her up by talking to much though so he tried to stay quiet as she worked
