Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It was a rare occasion - but Sootmist was having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. He had overslept, he had found a mat in his long grey fur, camp had been entirely too loud, and now, he couldn't seem to catch his lunch for the life of him. He knew from the moment he had first stirred, that this day was going to be off.
He couldn't tell if he was more annoyed with his lack of success that morning, or more surprised. It often felt as though there were few things in camp that he could help with - what with his inability to speak making communication scarce, and his big paws always getting in the way. But hunting? hunting was his thing. He seemed to be all left paws, right up until he zeroed in on his prey. On a normal day, he would've already spent several hours hunting, and would be soon headed back with prey draped off of every side of him. But today? He couldn't seem to spot anything, never mind catch anything.
After the last rabbit dove down into its' hole, just in time for Soot to trip over a root and find himself sprawled out in the dirt on his belly, he merely sat up, shook the dust off, and sat down where he stood. He sat there for a long time, his golden eyes staring blankly at his paws.
