Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It had been a swelteringly hot day. The patches of amber sunlight filtering through the branches overhead had remained all but stationary on the forest floor all day long, no forgiving breezes around to rustle the branches and provide some reprieve to the living things below. The sun was beginning its slow descent towards the horizon now though, the temperature clinging to its last highs before dusk truly set in.
Among the lingering shadows, an apprentice crouched on the bank of a small stream, attentively staring into the bubbling waters below. It was tempting, even in the fading heat, to just plunge into the shallow water to cool off, but that wasn't why she was here. Finally, the flash of silver she had been waiting for, and Strawberrypaw's paw shot into the water with a splash, claws digging into a fish that she hooked out to flop around on the bank next to her. A trickle of red blood washed downstream as the fish gasped its last breath, Strawberrypaw feeling a rush of satisfaction at a job well done.
"Wow..." Came a voice that was just above a whisper. Standing a few fox-legnths away was none other than Driftingpath, one of the previous Nightclan leader's children. He was tall with jet black fur and patches of light brown on his face. He looked a bit strange but he was stout with broad shoulders and toned muscles. "T-that was a good catch" he spoke, his voice rather soft for such a large cat. He had just recently become a warrior and still had not overcome his shyness.
