Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Only moments after Cloudywinter (Pao) and Flickerflames (Nova) were announced as a couple they were forcibly herded into a small cozy den before being sealed inside with some large rocks. They were each told that they would be confined in the den for twenty-four hours together before their wedding would take place the following night. Within the cozy den were an assortment of flowers and herbs strung about the den. The scent was strong, thick with the aroma of lavender and vanilla. Both scents meant to be soothing agents to force a calm relaxing vibe. Off to the left side were an assortment of foliage, freshly cut flowers and other decorations meant for the couple to decorate one another with for their upcoming wedding. The more extravagant and detailed the couple would accessorize themselves with, the more it symbolized a happy marriage. They could not dress themselves up, only each other.
This is the time for the couple to exchange pleasantries, get to know one another, and plan their futures together."

Flickeringflames felt her tail lashing in annoyance behind her as she stared up at the giant rock that sealed her in the cave. Her brother had willing left as he was herded towards his own cave, shooting her a soft glare to behave as he left. The dark chestnut pelted she-cat let out a small snort as she finally sat down and faced her soon to be mate. Cloudywinter… Flickeringflames wasn’t sure what to make of them. Her whiskers twitched as she looked around the cave. She couldn’t help but lift a paw to her nose as the strong scent of all the herbs and flowers all but assaulted her. The least they could have done as leave the mouth of the cave open a bit so that there was a draft of fresh mountain air. “Well… here we are, I guess.” pao
(you know I may have made a mistake. Is Flickeringflames gay? Cloudywinter is female and I think I entered her wrong for the sign up sand didn't catch it later. Nova)
(well this might work then! Outsider or pureblood? If purebnlood, how would you feel about Cloudywinter constantly being afraid/questioning that Flickeringflames is cheating in her or doesn't like her anymore because she's bi and Cloudywinter is straight? Cloudywinter has a hard time trusting others and I feel it'd be very fitting for her to distrust her new mate, especially since they were paired together and didn't chose one another.)

(So I know originally that I put her down as 100% but I actually have been meaning to change her to 50% Winterclan I think we may have talked about this in the DMs, but I think that would work! Just a quick question, will Cloudywinter be okay being with another she-cat if she's straight? Flickeringflames wouldn't force her to do anything or be uncomfortable of course it took her a long time to accept who she was so she knows the feeling)
(hmm good question. Maybe at first she wouldn't be, but then she's kind of possessive and into the whole Gods thing and would almost be insulted that anyone would think she wasn't happy with being given a mate selected by the Gods. So a little of both. Kind of down for them to divorce though cus maybe she realizes later that she can't really do it but also that maybe flickeringflames finds someone else and that cloudywinter wants kits so it's kind of a mutual parting? SO didn't you say you were gonna leave her as full since it'd throw off her brother if you changed it? remembered that after you said we'd talked about this some already lol)

(I like that idea! Flickeringflames would be hella confused as to why she's staying at first too lmfao, but yea I'd be down for a future divorce! And yes I was playing around with the idea and I think I figured a way around keeping Talonstrike as 100% Winterclan and turning Flickeringflames into 50% Winterclan, so I might make them half-siblings. Just means I gotta update their bios eventually ^^; )
(Lol maybe for a reveal late that they’re only half siblings? Make it into a plot? That’s be fun todo and taht would be the breaking point for them if that works for you?)
Cloudywinter couldn't believe that as another she-cat had walked into the den. Was this a joke? She wasn't gay, for Gods' sake. Besides! She wanted kits, pureblood kits at that to better serve the clan. And how was she supposed to do that with another she-cat as her mate? Tail twitching in instant frustrating, the fluffy warrior gazed upon her new mate to-be. "Pureblood or no?" That was he first concern, she would refuse and plead to the Gods for a new mate if Flickeringflames was anything less than a pureblood. She could see her siblings now, disappointed in her match for late of ability to have its, but even more so if Flickeringflames turned out to not be full blooded WinterClan.,

"Well that's kind of rude, isn't it?" Flickeringflames snorted with a flick of her ears. "Could at least ask about my name first before you ask if I'm a pureblooded Winterclan cat." The she-cat bent her head for a moment to scratch at an itch behind her ear. "Here, let me show you how it's done." Flickeringflames said with a crooked smirk. "My name is Flickeringflames. I was born and raised in Winterclan. I have one brother, Talonstrike, also born and raised in Winterclan. Now it's your turn."
Cloudywinter bristled at the small scolding she received, though...part of her thought it was in a teasing tone. No matter, she straightened her spine as she'd been taught and spoke clearly as crisp air. "Cloudywinter, pureblood WInterClan. I have two siblings, Dappledglacier and Silverfury. Pardon my rudeness, but I'm afraid I've not seen you around much to have known your status." She spoke of status, blood status at that, as if she was talking about the weather or mentioning the name of an old friend. But she was curious. Just how had they not crossed paths before this fateful day? Was this what the Gods wanted? To bring to her attention of another pureblooded WinterClan cat? She had believed she'd known them all but clearly not.

"There, that wasn't so hard." Flickeringflames said in a teasing tone as she straightened up. "I tend to hang around my brother a lot more than other cats in the clan. If I'm not with him, then I'm out doing my own hunting or inspecting the borders by myself." She admitted. "So its no surprise to me that we probably haven't crossed paths. Anyway, now that the introductions are out of the way." Flickeringflames said, her tone dropping a bit as she glanced over at the flowers and other accessories that had been lain out for them. "What do we do with all of that?" pao
"Well it is to my understanding that we are to...decorate one another based upon our feelings of the other cat." She spoke clinically, straight to the point and trying to not let her own emotions fall through. No point letting this other she-cat know she wasn't particularly thrilled with their match. Just how did the Gods expect her to have kits, kits that would carry on her full blooded status if she was not with a tom cat? Cloudywinter's gaze followed Flickeringflames to the pile of stuff left for them So, the Gods had chosen Flickeringflames, then she would honor it for the time being, least she displease them and completely deny her the chance of kits. "Well, I supposed I should know more about you if I am to dress you for our wedding in the morning."

"Well, I should probably do the same." Flickeringflames said with a shrug of her shoulders as she sat down by the flowers and decorations. She began to sift through them with her paw, trying her best to be careful with some of the flowers that had been laid out for them. "I don't know about you, but I'm not sure why the Gods chose me for this whole... arranged marriage thing. My brother? Sure, I can understand that. He's nothing but a giant softie with a big heart. Me? It's just not my style. What about you?"
