Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Only moments after Brokensight (Pao) and Hawthorncrown (@turtlenoir) were announced as a couple they were forcibly herded into a small cozy den before being sealed inside with some large rocks. They were each told that they would be confined in the den for twenty-four hours together before their wedding would take place the following night. Within the cozy den were an assortment of flowers and herbs strung about the den. The scent was strong, thick with the aroma of lavender and vanilla. Both scents meant to be soothing agents to force a calm relaxing vibe. Off to the left side were an assortment of foliage, freshly cut flowers and other decorations meant for the couple to decorate one another with for their upcoming wedding. The more extravagant and detailed the couple would accessorize themselves with, the more it symbolized a happy marriage. They could not dress themselves up, only each other.
This is the time for the couple to exchange pleasantries, get to know one another, and plan their futures together."
(if you would like a wedding thread later on, please message me or one of the staff, thank you.)
Hawthorncrown found this to be a strange affair. She had never considered taking on a mate. Especially after not being able to find a successful relationship after all of this time. Let alone did she expect to be thrown into an arranged marriage. She wasn't unhappy, but had mixed feelings about the whole ordeal. Getting trapped in the small den was not something she had been expecting either. She let out a quiet sigh knowing there wasn't any use from running away from what had been placed in front of her. She turned away from the rock to face the tom that is to be her mate and future husband. She didn't know much about him, but should could try to get to know him and try and work out a happy marriage.
(sorry been too tired from working nights shift to get on much. but luckily when we're not busy we're allowed to do just about anything so long as we set it aside for calls and stuff.) @turtlenoir
Brokensight had been escorted into the den by Frevidsummer, who'd kindly placed him at the back of the den to make room for his to-be mate to sit. The poor tom hadn't been able to see the majority of his life, since apprentice hood in which he'd been struck down in the war against Primal Instinct. Recently the clan had taken a turn form the culture he'd grown up with. New Gods had stepped up to guide them when StarClan abandoned them and all had seemingly accepted their new way of life. But he was getting old, and without his sight, and only able to make out shapes and slight color from the one, it was hard learning all these new things. The arranged marriages was the newest and he wasn't sure how he felt about them. Since being blinded full in one eye after losing it completely and 3/4's in the other, he hadn't dreamed anyone would want him as a mate. So for someone to be forced into that role, didn't set well with him. He sat in the back of the den with a frown on his face, aware someone else was there but not sure what they looked like. It smelled as though it was Hawthorncrown, but he could be wrong as other scents still clung to the air of the den, including those of the sweet smelling herbs.
